Given the severity of the injury, we expected a high level of care, attentiveness, and professionalism. We arrived 20 minutes early for the appointment, especially after receiving a call that the appointment time had been changed to 11:00 AM. Upon arrival, we were informed that the doctor would not be in until noon. Despite this, we remained patient and waited. Once called back, the nurse was thorough, compassionate, and professional. She took the time to gather detailed information regarding the incident and the patient's medical and family history. Her demeanor was respectful and reassuring, and she demonstrated excellent bedside manner. Unfortunately, the experience changed significantly when the doctor entered the room. He appeared disengaged and uninterested from the start. He looked us up and down in a manner that felt dismissive, and while asking questions, he repeatedly interrupted before answers could be completed. This created an uncomfortable and discouraging environment. The interaction became particularly concerning when the doctor, after briefly observing the patient, questioned whether there was any drug use. This assumption felt unwarranted and based on appearance rather than medical evidence. It was both inappropriate and hurtful. When his behavior was respectfully addressed, he responded by stating he was "trying to form your care." However, his approach came across as rude, dismissive, and lacking sensitivity. In contrast, the nurse demonstrated the level of professionalism and care that one would expect in a medical setting -- attentive, respectful, and free of assumptions. This experience was disappointing, especially given the seriousness of the patient's condition. There is a clear opportunity here for improved patient communication, professionalism, and compassion. Then to state, "we will refund.you like that repairs the damage". No you keep it. We have insurance and your nurse with her pleasant demeanor - earned it!

I'm a big worry wart when it comes to any procedure, especially involving my face, but Dr. Reger took the time to explain the procedure and what to expect, the down time(none), patiently answering my barrage of questions. He also has before and after pictures of other patients, too. The procedure involved a cold numbing lotion first which was refreshing. The treatment took maybe ten minutes. My eyes were covered but the light travels so you still "see" it. This was disconcerting at first till he explained why, then I relaxed. After, I felt fine and was given specific instructions on after care. I used almond oil as a moisturizer instead of my normal regimen. My face stang a bit after the numbing cream wore off but calmed down that evening. The next few days I was alarmed at the brown spots darkening but Dr. Reger had told me to expect this. At worst I looked polka dotted. I work from home but ventured out, only on close inspection could friends tell a difference. But with each shower I noticed less spots, fewer blemishes and my brow furrows lessening. The bags under my eyes are less and my droopy eyelids were lifted as well. All without surgery! I'm thrilled with the results and highly recommend DR. Reger and staff! I'm 58, was born and raised in Texas and am a sun worshiper from way back. I've tanned with crisco and also baby oil and iodine. I had a LOT of sun damage on my face, neck and chest. And now that is gone! I'm now going to them for laser hair removal, Jessica is awesome!
