This walk in facility is in a small Towne Lake shopping center with ample parking spaces, safe surroundings, clean interior, ripped exam room chair 2/5 and friendly staff. 5/5 I was only patient in waiting room as I filled out forms. 5/5 P.A. Listened to my breathing 5/5 , asked what I've been prescribed before, wrote Rx, and I left. She kept saying pearl with an accent. 2/5. P.A. visited lasted 3 minutes. My boyfriend went in for a UTI and they treated him for STDs even though I was recently evaluated with a Pap smear 2 weeks ago and was clean. When he told her this, she said "you never know what she is doing." Are we actually fr rn? Not only is she questioning my fidelity but insulting me! I will never return. I came in for chest pain that I had been experiencing for over a week. I was seen by Dr. Hasan and informed him about my chest pain and that I had seen two other doctors which both dismissed it and said it was probably anxiety (mind you I'm 38 and have NEVER been told I have anxiety). He said chest pain should never be dismissed and immediately took an x-ray and had an EKG done. Surprise surprise! My EKG came back irregular and the chest x-ray showed inflammation in my lungs. It was a relief to finally find a doctor that would actually take the time to listen. He gave me a steroid and it cleared up my chest pain. Lastly, I wanna say the service was amazing all around! I was in and out within an hour of arriving that's with chest x-rays and an EKG! This will always stay with me to never give up if you know in your gut that something is wrong. I tried to get a follow up visit for an injury that I came in 2 days prior. I dealt with Bri K and Leah at the desk. After searching for my records everywhere, they finally found it on the computer. I explained my medical situation ( I have broken four bones due to osteoporosis) to them and the reason why I needed a follow up visit. Both women repeated over and over that I needed to wait a week like my paperwork says. No amount of explaining would suffice. It's only after I got my phone out and started a Yelp review that tones changed. Then Bri suggested that I get seen to get a shot for pain relief, when all I was asking for was a second x-ray to determine whether I had a hairline fracture. I explained that the last time I broke my foot, my PCP didn't find the fracture and that I suffered for six weeks walking on a broken foot because the fracture wasn't immediately seen. I requested my scans and decided to go to my PCP. I am currently sitting in the office for my follow up appointment so I'm hoping that it will be a better experience than the last one. read more

tale of two visits in one day: bad outweighs good and i would not recommend this place to anyone. i had an amazing visit for flu shots for me and my youngest around lunchtime so i told my wife to take our oldest kid here in the evening the same day, but she was really upset (as am i now) that they never wore masks, NO ONE, NOT EVEN THE NURSE WHO GAVE THE SHOTS to my family, nor gloves. That's not only illegal but irresponsible as the same nurse is constantly going in and out doing covid testing. I'd LOVE to hear how this is defensible to them...? I guess they don't believe in asymptotic transmission. Let me guess, they test themselves everyday? Doesn't matter bc u can still be contagious before enough detectable viral load from PCR or rapid antigen testing. How, at a clinic where anyone and everyone comes in can you not wear a mask in the middle of a pandemic especially when texas is averaging 4000 new cases a day, and even if there were just a few we should still err on the side of caution, especially at a medical facility (yes they screen at door but again anyone can have it and not know it). All i can say is wear a real n95 tight with eye protection even for your kids if you have to go inside here and wash yourselves and your PPE well when you leave. here's what i originally posted b4 i made a u-turn in opinion after my credibility went in the toilet for giving my wife and family a huge endorsement on this place: flu shot for toddlers here (4&up, it's 7 & up almost everywhere else btw) super fast & friendly, extremely impressed, 15 mins even as a walk-in during their busiest time of day (lunch) and the nurse was doing tons of (7) covid drive-up tests while we briefly waited our turn, wow these guys are hard workers! i was looking for a place for toddler vaccinations for weeks bc our normal boys' doc had a wait list since mid august for this years quadrivalent vaccine, as one can imagine in a pandemic year. after tons of research and endless call waiting, i discovered this place. i like that they keep the doors barred and that you have to call before you enter, ie screening people. of course all wore masks etc and i felt very safe, but i didn't have to fill out any paperwork, just gave them my insurance card and license and they did the work and we were out in 15 mins, that's ridiculous, kinda like chick-fil-a when you see those endless lines and then you're pulling away with your food a few mins later in shock. the nurse did a superb job sweet talking my little one and he didn't even cry bc i guess she was so good (and had so many reps at this). so a++ & 5 stars easily. next time i know where i'm going for vaxin when i don't want to deal with the red tape and insane waits at our normal pediatrics. thanks guys for your hard work and passion, it shows! read more

We had a very good experience here. We were camping in Waller, Tx and my husband accidentally suffered a fall out of our RV. It looked pretty bad but being stubborn he insisted he would "walk it out"-he had landed on his left ankle in a twisted, unfortunate position. I got him back in the RV and had him sit in a recliner with his legs elevated. He hobbled to bed later refusing ice or extra pillows for his ankle. The next morning he could hardly walk. I looked up options after calling his Aetna Medicare insurance (anHMO) and called an urgent care that was closer but they did not take any insurance. I then called AFC and confirmed his insurance and that we could walk in but we could also make an appointment (which was my preference). It was a nasty wet day w/episodes of rain so I gave us time to get ready and make the drive to Cypress. It was only about 26 miles but raining heavily the whole way. When we arrived they got us the paperwork and offered bottled water. They copied all his ID and insurance. They declined us paying the co-pay as they process insurance first but will bill us if needed. They were all very pleasant and professional. We waited a short time after turning in the paperwork and were called back. The MA took down his current medical problem-his history and his current medications. He said the doctor would come in and examine Tom and likely order an X-ray and determine treatment. The doctor arrived within minutes and did indeed order an X-ray and advised once it was read by a radiologist he would return to discuss treatment options. Fortunately, there was no fracture but indeed a bad sprain with soft tissue injury. He prescribed steroids, and a pain med (non narcotic), ice, elevate and crutches. He was very nice and also professional. I apologize for lack of his name-he is Nigerian as I commented on his excellent command of English- Hubby said he can't use crutches per his hx but he convinced him he needed to try so he could improve optimally. Evidently our insurance doesn't cover so we bought them while there in case we couldn't find them elsewhere (I don't know Cypress at all.) I was happy with the care-the amount of time,the ease of getting an appointment-having capability to have it X-rayed right there and being able to purchase the crutches. We were given discharge instructions including instructions to the pharmacy-right up the road less than a mile, and even a discount courtesy card to use there. Lastly, I appreciated the doctor gently reminding my husband this could have been so much worse so we were really fortunate this time. read more

First of all what Urgent Care closes at 8pm? The one positive was check in seemed simple and painless. One form to fill out. But then how do they treat without knowing some health history? I sat in the exam room waiting for 48 minutes to see the Dr. I noticed some patients being seen before me, that checked in after I arrived and signed in. Now it was my turn and it was evident they were getting close to 8pm. Now all of the sudden I was important. The Dr came in and spent majority of the time with excuses of why it took so long to see me. I explained my symptoms and they ruled out strep. He gave me Rx's and sent them to my pharmacy. I later thought it was strange he didn't ask me if I have reactions or health issues that might be important when prescribing. I was the one to ask if any of the medications would raise my BP or eye pressure because I have Glaucoma . Imagine my surprise to get to the pharmacy and it's closed. What a mess. It wasn't until the next day could I start the antibiotics. I had to confirm with the Pharmacist if the prescribed medication would not interfere with my health history. I'm hoping this was a one time incident and this is not how they treat patients. read more

DONT GO HERE!!! I broke my collar bone a few weeks back and went to this urgent care and as not satisfied with the service given to me. Keep in mind This was my first broken bone so I don't know what I need to to do. They gave my X-rays and an arm sling. The nurse kept telling me to go to the emergency room at memorial Herman because they can get me into surgery right away and she said that like four times. So I went to the ER thinking that was the case but when I got there, the ER said they couldn't do anything else for me and sent me home. So now I'm stuck with the ER bill because the nurse gave me false information. It also took me about four calls to get them to send my medication to the right pharmacy. The people that work at this place is not the brightest and I would not recommend going here. I would give a negative stars if possible. read more

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with the AFC in Cypress Texas. This is a neighborhood facility I thought I could trust. Just when my dad entrusted AFC to conduct his RT-PCR testing for an international visit he planned making from a year ago, the facility did not pull through. The specimen they took from my dad didn't get picked up by the facility's third party lab until the day we were told to expect the results. My dad didn't get to make his international flight due to not having his PCR results. We talked to the staff about the importance of having the results within 48 hours of the PCR testing--at every point, from the time we booked, up to the time the PCR was conducted and the time we asked for when to get results, we were promised we would get the results within 48 hours from testing. We didn't. This situation resulted in a level of anxiety, inconvenience and frustration words cannot express. My dad had to rebook and find a trusted facility that can pull through its responsibilities. It is disheartening to know that a facility like this, whose main job is to take care of patients--collect the specimen, run it through for processing and results couldn't just pull through. The local management team couldn't give us any solutions; it was also frustrated by its inability to take care of patients. Looking forward to hearing from this establishment's senior leadership. I did exactly that and no one came out to test me. I called again and they assured me someone is coming out immediately to test me. Still no one came. So I left. Their service sucks and so does their staff. I called them to let them know they don't need to test me as I have left due to their lack of service. I told them I'm disappointed in the service and having called them twice and no one came out to test me. All they said is ok fine let me take you off the list. Two weeks later ( and only after my mom calling three days in a row), they give the wrong result for my dad on the phone. As for my mom, her results have been "misplaced" and they recommend her coming in for a second test. This place is a joke. read more

I had been turned down (after setting appointments with approval) from 3 different health facilities because I had nasal congestion, no fever. They refused to treat me. This includes my personal Dr. of 15 + years. I called AFC, told them the circumstances (no I don't have Covid) and they said come on in, no waiting. Well I did, the staff was incredible, pleasant and efficient. They did not treat me like I was a walking pariah. The PA, Sharell Marlitz is fantastic and I would go to her again with no hesitation. I believe she gave me a solid diagnosis, good treatment plan and immediate relief with in office treatment. I would highly recommend this facility and staff. Thank you AFC for treating me today. I have been to AFC Urgent Care THE PAST TWO DAYS for two different issues. I had no trouble getting through on the phone and was told to come in. No waiting, I went right to an exam room. I had a different provider each day and both were very knowledgeable, thorough, efficient and caring. I even called back both days with questions and concerns and was able to talk to a nurse or provider on the phone. I had diagnosis and medications upon leaving, with both trips. I felt so comforted each trip with the confidence I had come to the right place. They are open 8a to 8p, and just blocks from my home, which is very reassuring for me as a senior citizen. I took my son for his school physical and I forgot a mask. I asked the front desk for a mask, and the lady sitting at the front desk very rudely told me no we don't have any masks. What kind of urgent care doesn't have masks?? Especially during a worldwide pandemic. My son is a minor and isn't allowed back without me. I had to rush to my closest Kroger and ask the pharmacy for a mask. I then had to drive all that way back and then continue with my sons appointment. I'm appalled that an Urgent Care is providing masks. And the response from the front desk lady was so impolite and rude. read more

These People use a 3rd party billing company so beware. Anyway, check this out, I used them for the fist time about a year ago. I paid my copay saw the doctor and left, no problems...except front desk didn't know what they were doing and rude. Then about 6 months later I felt sick so I made an appointment online. When I arrived to sign in they were very rude and told me in front of all waiting that I owed them 20 dollars and until I paid the 20 bucks I could not be seen. So I said ok no worries and gave them my card. Here is where the problem begins. I had to call a 3rd party billing company who could care less about you. After dealing with them and paying my bill, I went back to AFC. Once I arrived I got kicked out again because the 3rd party billing company hadn't verified I paid my bill, even though I had a confirmation number. So long story short I finally got in to see the doctor and went my way. It gets better so wait. Today I was feeling under the weather so I made an appointment online. Then I remembered I had such a horrible experience last time so I thought maybe I should call to see if I owed any money so there wouldn't be any surprises. Well guess what, I now owe them 25 dollars and it was sent to collections. They told me the reason I owed them 25 dollars was because my insurance sux. So I asked them where they were sending the bill because I've never seen one and guess what...it wasn't my address. So now my 25 dollars is in collections and until I pay the collections company and they call AFC to confirm I paid it, I can't be seen. After the conversation I am pretty sure you can guess where I told them they can stick their 25 dollars. Wouldn't it be much easier If I could have paid at the front desk and be done with it. This company is willing to loose money over 25 dollars and 3rd party billing. I know what your all saying...why didn't he just pay his bill? Well if the bill came to my house I would have. I had a fireworks accident where I severely burned my arm, neck, and face. I went into this location and they took great care of me. I just walked in and was greeted right away and my wife filled out paperwork. In under a minute I was already in a room and right after the doctor and nurse came in and took care of me. Very bad service. I have dropped sample on Friday morning and asked them i am traveling on sunday afternoon. They said you can have result in 24 to 48hr. But, they did not tell me that lab is closed on Saturday. Now i may need to reschedule the flight. I am going to missed important business meeting. I woke up with a sore throat several days ago, but this one was different. This felt like a knot in my throat as opposed to the scratchy symptom I've been accustomed to. No fever, no additional symptoms. So I started looking into local urgent cares and AFC popped up as one of the most popular with high reviews, so I drove over. Once arriving, I'm greeted with a marker board sign saying that folks need to call the office before coming in and that anyone with COVID-19 symptoms would not be seen. So I called and tried to explain what I was dealing with just to be told that because it classifies as a "sore throat" I would not be allowed in. You're telling me that as a medical service provider, you won't see ANYONE exhibiting ANY OF THE 10+ symptoms of COVID without so much as testing, checking for a fever or any other mitigation practice that other offices have put into place to protect staff and patients. What's the point of even being open? I definitely won't be going back for any medical needs, even post-COVID. read more

I'd like to start off by saying I don't ever have time to write a review but since I've been skipped not once but twice I guess I have time to do so. This is the second time I have brought my daughter to this location and their will not be a third. The nurse has skipped me twice. For whatever reason I don't know, so I walked up to the front desk and asked if they where going in order. The lady in the front desk said yes, so the nurse "Becky" comes and say she called my last name and I didn't answer. I was standing by the door and I would of heard her call my last name since I was here to get seen not to wait around.. the second time Becky calls another persons name so this time I approach her and asked her why she was skipping and she says "go ahead and have a seat I will call you shortly"So I continue to ask "aren't you supposed to go in order? I was here before her and the guy you called earlier". Her response was "have a seat" and proceeded to walk with the lady that showed up after me. I do not recommend this place, she was very rude and it makes me wonder if it had to do with my race, I can only hope it's not. read more
