Do NOT go here for ANYTHING…read more I decided last Friday to jump ship and go with Verizon thinking I was better off than with T-Mobile. I was excited to have a new phone (was talked into getting the Google Pixel 10 Pro) and at the prospect of only paying $45/line. I traded in my S23 Ultra and that covered the purchase of my kiddo's phone, so I would finance my phone, cost estimates of $140/month after taxes and fees. Went to do a credit check and get declined. Why? Because someone already has a Verizon account with my Social Security number, but a different name. Hmmmmm. They asked me three times if I already had an account. I answered no, I've been with US Cellular for 20 years. We contact fraud, I have to send them my ID, my Social Security Card, and a selfie to verify I am who I say I am. Yet they clearly couldn't do that correctly the first time considering someone already used my SSN, but didn't match the name! When I asked the fraud rep to cancel the account because it's OBVIOUSLY fraudulent, they refused because the account has been with them for many years and is in "good standing". Uhhhhh....EXCUSE ME?! The fraud rep assures me I'll get an email from them in 24 hrs, they first need to get a hold of the account holder to verify their information. I'm sorry, but if I'm knowingly committing FRAUD, am I gonna answer the phone when you call wanting to know who I really am?! Absolutely the hell not! The sales rep at the store continues on, gets a new account set up for me anyway, and sends us on our way. The next day I get a notification that my bill is ready and due June 13th. Okay, maybe it's just the line activation, right? Maybe a partial month considering we only just got the phones on the 22nd NOPE! Y'all, I'm being charged $355.50 on top of already paying $268 for activation fees at the store. Tuesday the 26th rolls around. I still haven't heard from the fraud department. You know, the ones that would get back to me in 24 hours? So, I called them and sat on the line with another fraud rep, Shawn and after demanding they cancel the account and AGAIN them refusing to - isn't that aiding and abetting a criminal? - disconnect the line, I decided I'm DONE. I disconnected everything and returned our phones. My S23 I gave them? The one they gave me an $830 credit for? GONE. I can't get it back. They wouldn't even offer me any sort of refund. They left me with no phone, no options. Then when all was said and done, had the BALLS to still charge me 95 cents to return the phones. So, all in all, I PAID $270 for them to take my phone. In short, I'm DONE with Verizon and their entire company for failing to protect people. For lying about their pricing. For lying about their ability to cancel accounts. For taking advantage of people hoping that for once the grass will be greener elsewhere. For allowing anyone to sign up for an account without actually verifying their identity. For making money off of people turning in their old devices and then leaving them with NOTHING. Lesson learned!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Extremely poor service here, and I give a lot of leeway for retail…read morehaving previously worked it myself. Walked into the store and none of the staff acknowledged I was there. There was an employee on the phone, but he didn't say anything to me. I stood there for 15 minutes waiting, and another couple came in, and he said he would help them. We made eye contact before the couple came in, so it's not like he didn't know I was there. I just wanted to see if I could swap out my iPhone for a new one, but apparently they didn't want my business. There were four employees working and no one even spoke to me. Also no one wears masks here and I got daggers for wearing a mask inside. I ended up leaving after no one bothered to help me. Left without interacting with one employee lol. Don't come here.
