    I stopped into the T-Mobile store in Wauwatosa to explore switching carriers, and overall it was an…read moreokay experience. When we first walked in, we weren't greeted and ended up standing around for a bit waiting for someone to become available. Not a huge deal, but a simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Once a rep was free, the service itself was good. He was friendly, took the time to walk us through plans and promotions, and answered our questions without being pushy. Most of the deals seemed tied to specific upgraded Samsung phones, though, so it didn't end up being much cheaper than what we currently have. I actually appreciated that he suggested we also check back with Verizon to compare before making a decision. We did that and ended up staying with our current provider, but it was nice to not feel pressured. The store itself is in a really convenient location right off the freeway, with plenty of parking. It was clean, organized, and easy to access. Since we didn't end up switching, I can't speak to the full process, but for a quick visit to gather information, it was a decent experience overall--just could have used a better first impression.

My coworker recently switched however and the plan is a much better deal and then everyone got new phones for free so can't beat that. Plus the inclusion of Netflix basic which we already pay for is a bonus savings and then Apple TV is like an extra. Customer service was very good - it was a long visit like 2 hours but I feel like it's always so long when really going through the full process plus my mother was unsure which phone and kept going back and forth so that probably honestly added a good 20 minutes to our time.

    Oh hell no. We just…read moremoved to a new house and needed to get some type of TV service going meaning the choice was between cable (nope, sorry never again), DirecTV or Dish. Dish currently has the best pricing and so I went online to set it up which should be a relatively simple process, right? Nope. I won't go into the long, horrible story but I'm now on my third rep over 4 days and between online chat and the phone, it's well over 2 hours of my time. Bottom line, they messed up during the credit check process and ended up "locking" me out because they pinged it so many times. They promised a call back to complete the process which of course never happened and when I finally did get set up complete they tried to bait and switch me to a more expensive package. On top of that, more than one rep tried to get me to give them a second credit card number - even though they acknowledged the first one worked just fine. Super, super, super shady. The whole process was time consuming, inconvenient, frustrating and more than a little sketchy. There are very limited choices for TV service in this market and I believe all of them suck. Know that Dish is no exception and in fact, sucks HARD.

Was also promised I could have Illinois Chanel's because we live on the border-Nope....they won't do it.
