The pool is clean and well maintained. Our other favorite part of Future Stars Suffolk is the giant indoor air-conditioned sports arena that the children play in every day! I never have to worry about my children over-heating outside in extreme summer temperatures or miss playing sports and being active b/c it's raining outside. The large size of the arena is phenomenal and Future Stars sections it off for the different sports and age groups. All of the counselors at Future Stars Suffolk have been fun, friendly and attentive. The director is excellent, very visible and hands on and the entire office staff is always kind, prompt and responsive to any questions I have. We highly recommend Future Stars Suffolk!!!

My son instantly wanted to join this camp after the first 5 minutes. While my son spends many days doing trips, the actual camp itself is very impressive. Tucked away at the end of a residential street is a massive sprawling day camp that feels like you're miles away from everything even though you're actually just a few minutes drive away from 110. They have a ton of facilities to offer the campers. Multiple pools, go cart track, zip lines, all the sports you could want, a pond w paddle boats, archery, art & crafts and even a circus performance class! Every day is a party at KENWAL - when you drop off your kids in the morning they have party music blasting away and the super friendly staff are all out in the lot to greet the kids and keep the traffic flowing. You know you're kids are in for a fun day every day! The office staff is flexible with payments, offer different payment options, discounts for early pay and they are just great to work with. We've used other camps on the island and we wish we found Kenwal years ago. Prices are reasonable compared to other camps and they offer a lot more services in my opinion and don't seem to have the staffing issues we've seen elsewhere. The lady who gave a lesson about how to track or discover animals around us during our daily life, but the lesson was in a small room with no AC. The boys were not interested in the discussion at all. The session was informative to the parents, but the lady seemed unable to handle younger kids. We then took a nature walk outside and the boys were very into the hike. The trail was clearly marked and easy to access by foot. Parking lot was relatively small. Overall it was an okay experience.

I thought my daughter would have been afraid of heights and swinging, however she was confident, comfortable and had a great time. Once the girls finished in the gym, we headed over to their party room for Pizza, drinks and cake. The staff handled the party with ease and were exceptional. The host handed out her party favors and ended the party on time. I would have definitely added a star if the facility was renovated and more visually appealing. Overall, this is a great venue idea for a birthday party gathering. Simple to plan and a great time for the kids.

Not surprisingly, my son came home with a stomach virus. Hope no one bullies your kid. A kid was calling my son names. Owner said "kids will be kids." My children went for 6 weeks and participated in multi sport, basketball, magic camp, two of their STEM programs, volleyball and lacrosse. The programs are well planned with little downtime. They had lunch for purchase and offered lots of kid friendly foods that my kids enjoyed. After lunch the kids would have some free time to go on the water slides, bounce houses or just play a game of gaga ball. There was something for everyone. A monthly calendar of fun events was posted including Tye Dye week, Olympics, etc. And a t-shirt is given out each week. Counselors were all helpful, patient, and professional. Very happy with our overall experience and my kids can't wait to go back again. Looking forward to trying their Adventure Camp this year, we heard soooo many good things about it from last years crew.

Last night was my first time at The Argyle Theatre and we watched The Prince of Egypt. I've passed…read moreby for years and always wondered about the quality of their productions. So my husband surprised me with tickets because he knows how much I love Broadway shows. Some of the standouts of the night were- the singing and the use of the screens. The actors & vocalist did a great job, really no weak links, they were clear, they projected all the way up to the balcony, and they carried a strong stage presence. The stage was set up in a specific way for the entire show but the screens helped to enhance the scenes by projecting different images to suggest a change in setting, making it a lot more interesting to watch. Some songs resonated more than others, solely because of the weight of the message they possessed. Overall, very talented artists on Long Island that we enjoyed watching use their gifts to bring joy to others. It didn't have to be perfect to be of great substance. I will note that they loosely interpret biblical events throughout the show, especially toward the end, so a few scenes might make you go huh, but as artists, they truly made it their own. It's nice to offer Broadway-like shows close to home, and to support the arts within our communities.
