Additionally, my carrier whom works out of this post office, delivers mail (when it is indeed delivered!) at any time of day or night. Sometimes as early as noon, sometimes as late as 9pm. I recently relocated to Ohio due to personal reasons and so it was, my business happens to service people all over. Being new to the area, I just use faith google, to lead me to places that can accommodate my daily needs. Shipping is a daily need. Upon entering any location I tend to learn their practices so that I am a good customer, at this particular USPS their practices continually change and this is where this complaint of customer service was birth. I walked in with my shipping bag and I was the only person in line, no surprise there. Of course, the ladies behind the counter were laughing and chatting, no harm there. I waited to be called and I said "hello" cheerfully, and the lady responded with "hello" but with a question mark at the end as if I was troubling her from doing the very thing she should be doing, her job. I pulled the three packages from my shipping bag and asked if I could ship these items, she responded condescendingly " as in you want me to ship this for you without you filling out a labeling slip that costs .99 cents." I was confused, mainly because it had been a few days since someone had spoken to me in such a tone. I then said, " I'm confused", because I was I had been to this location and many others and I had never filled out this slip that costs .99 cents ever. She then looked me dead in my eyes and said " you are not gonna tell me that I need to ship your stuff, you should have all of your stuff filled out before even approaching the counter or me". I looked at her and knew in my heart if I gave her the ugly hate she gave me, it would have been a problem and the only problem I wanted to solve was servicing my clients by having their packages sent. I handed the pen that she had given me to write on that same .99 cent mystery piece of paper and walked out. Here is the lesson, good business ideas do not make a good business, the great people implementing good business ideas make a good business. To answer the question that is lingering in your mind, no I didn't ship at the location that day. Oh, and this complaint is on the one black young lady, but the whole staff could use a refresh. Please, please stop working at jobs you don't love. You are arent doing anyone a favor, certainly not yourself. Oh, and this review is written by a black woman!

The last time I was there, I witnessed her using her bilingual skills to assist customers, and she handled it wonderfully. Her kindness and patience are out of this world! You can tell she knows what she is doing. The rest of the team is great too, but she is truly the best of the best! Great job, young lady! Keep it up.

What should have cost $10 became a $160 cash grab that has left us both shaken and violated. How They Exploited My Mother: When we desperately needed notary services for important deed documents, Gibson looked my vulnerable mother in the eye and lied. He claimed "UPS policy" prohibited the service but he'd do it "privately" for $80 per document. He scared us with fabricated stories about "$500 fees" elsewhere and businesses being "destroyed" over deed disputes. The Heartbreaking Reality: - Ohio law caps notary fees at $5.00 per document - Gibson charged $80 each - My mother was overcharged $150 (1600% above legal limit) - No receipt given for the cash he demanded - We trusted him because he was UPS management My Emotional Trauma: I feel sick knowing I watched my elderly mother get robbed while I stood there helplessly. The time pressure (recorder's office closing) and Gibson's authority made us believe his lies. Seeing my mother's confusion and distress when we learned the truth at the Montgomery County Recorder's Office was heartbreaking. Management's Callous Response: When I returned devastated and seeking justice, Manager "Jon" coldly defended Gibson's theft, showing zero empathy for what happened to my mother. What I've Done: As a practicing attorney, I've filed complaints with the Ohio Secretary of State and UPS Corporate. But no legal victory can undo the violation of trust and the emotional damage done to my family. *Please protect your elderly loved ones from these predators.*
