The tour we took was $25 per person. Picking up the tickets I preordered was easy. With boarding, no one told us when it was time to board though we were sitting at the dock, but we saw a group going and went along with them. Seating on the boat included an upper deck to enjoy the air; my family preferred the lower deck which was booth style. We found a booth together easily. There were large windows to look outside, but the narration was prerecorded and kind of quiet. Occasionally a crew member would chime in. The narration was always pointing out things on the starboard side, so keep that in mind. The interior seemed kind of outdated overall and most of the other people on the tour were on the elderly side, so it might cater more towards that audience. Overall, this was an okay tour of the harbor. The price was fine for what it was, but I wouldn't personally choose to do this tour again. I know there are other options that might be better through the company, so only speaking from my experience with what I described.

There really weren't any open areas to see the sunset, and the sun was already below the skyline when we were out on the water....The crew was great , but you get only 2 stars because, the sunset which was supposed to be the star of the show was really just a no show, and this was not because of the weather, it was because of the scheduling and the simple fact that where the boat traveled, there really was not an acceptable place to even view the sunset......

Only 1 helpful hint: bring cash w smaller bills so you can pay for drinks/tip and go and not have to wait for change or receipts. We had a small group of four and visited Attman's, Isabella's brick oven, La Tavola, and Osteria Da Amedeo. Food tours are great way of seeing what local life is like and skipping to the front of the line to taste a variety of dishes. We saw historic sites like the Lloyd street synagogue, Corned beef row, the Carroll Mansion, Reginald F. Lewis museum, and birthplace of the Star spangled banner flag. It was about a 3.5 hour walking tour and there were intermittent breaks to eat in restaurants. Before this tour I had no idea there was a 'Little Italy' or a 'Corned beef row' and how much history these places had from the restaurants started by immigrants in the 1800s. It also makes a difference having an enthusiastic group and getting to know everyone. This tour is highly recommended.

The tour was from 3p (get there at 2:45p) to 6:30p with ample time to enjoy the food and her commentary. She knows all about the area, its history, current state, and the bars and restaurants. Made me want to come back! Our guide spoke clearly, answered many questions, kept us together, and showed care and attention to the group and to the owners we encountered. Very nice experience! Do be sure to wear reasonable shoes, though, because you'll be walked on some rough surfaces. Enjoy!

I wanted to take my kids on a little summer adventure and came across Urban Pirates, a pirate…read morethemed boat adventure, that takes place in the Inner Harbor/Downtown area of Baltimore. To start, we booked tickets online. Our adventure did not sell out so they called us and rescheduled for later the same day. When we arrived, we checked in under a tent that was set up at the end of small street along the water. The tent had some pirate themed items for sale. We waited there, on some benches, until our cruise was ready. Once on the ship tattoos and nicknames were given, stories were told, songs were sung and dances danced. There were battles with pirates, water cannons, treasure to be had all will cruising the waters of downtown Baltimore. Overall, a pretty cool adventure. Urban Pirates is definitely not cheap. My son, who is 8, really enjoyed the experience. My daughter, a middle schooler, had a little less fun. But there were kids older than her on our boat that were really into it. So, like a lot of things, you'll mostly get out of Urban Pirates what you are willing to put into it. Yaaaaar!

Don't know how to brew - NO PROBLEM Don't Have the supplies and equipment to Brew - NO PROBLEM Don't mind waiting 2 weeks for you Beer to ferment - THIS EVENT IS FOR YOU! So as I said our company offered employees a Home Brew experience as one of the options for our summer event this year, you can choose from 2 types of beer to brew, then you wait and about a week before the event a big box off supplies and equipment arrives at your door. The day before the event you get an e-mail with a zoom meeting invite for the actual event, along with some instructions so you are ready when the class starts. Our Instructors were Mike and Kevin, they meeting started on time and while the is some downtime while the water boils and the grains steep Mike and Kevin kept things interesting with helpful hints and tips, Brewing history, the reasons why you are going what you are doing at a certain time, what happens when you do certain things, why those things are good, bad or necessary and what to expect in the next two weeks while you are waiting for your beer to finish. There were some questions from our group and Mike answered them all, he was very knowledgeable about beer and the process of making beer. While I don't think I will become a master brewer and take up brewing as a full time hobby I did very much enjoy the experience and found it very informative and educational . If you like beer, or even if you are not a huge fan (yes we had one in our group and he enjoyed the class as well) I would highly recommend trying this type of event at least once, just so you know a little more about beer. Based on my experience with this home brew event I would be very willing to attend one of City Brew Tours in person events when things open back up again. (And when I'm in a city they serve) Highly recommended just for the fun of it or if you want to try brewing but are afraid to go it alone the first time. 5 Stars for the event 10 stars for Mike and Kevin

Tickets aren't crazy expensive. It was just over $16 for my adult ticket. It gave me access to the museum, which is really the second floor. In one small space is a museum about Turkey Hill's history, how ice cream is made, etc. It's very interactive with an area to make your own ice cream flavor, commercial, and more. The ice cream sampling area is great. They give you healthy scoops. There's also an area to try their iced tea and lemonade and learn how it's made. The bottom level is a giant gift shop with toys, clothes, and more. There's a large parking lot out front.

Then I found Turkey Hill Ice cream Experience only 30min away from Lancaster, and decided to visit. We bought the double scoop experience (comes with ice cream test lab) and obviously that was the highlight of the place! The test lab is about 45min experience and the whole thing with self-guided tour takes about 1hr 30min to 2 hours depending how crowded it is. The visit was fun and of course my 5-year-old daughter had a great time eating tons of ice cream!

This particular company is well established and has a long history in the area. My friends and I did the tour on a Saturday night as part of our annual girls trip (ghost tours are one of our favorite activities). Leanna was a fantastic tour guide and she kept us entertained, laughing, and had lots of great stories to share. I've been on some ghost tours that were more history focused with less actual ghost stories, but I found this one to be a nice balance. Leanna shared some key history of the Fells Point area as we visited some historic sites like the grave of William Fell and the location of the Fell homestead. She also had plenty of stories about the hauntings and even specific buildings that experience the most paranormal activity. She even had a few personal stories of her and her past tour groups own encounters. The tour lasted about an hour and a half and was a pretty easy walking loop around Fell's Point that starts and ends at the harbor. Our group really enjoyed it and all of us agreed was one of the best ghost tours we've been on. Would highly recommend both Baltimore Ghost Tours and Leanna if you're looking for a great spooky season (or really any season) activity in Fells Point!
