I went to EMT Utah for my Basic EMT and it was probably the worst education I have ever received…read more Instructors were inattentive, lacked communication, and disorganized. While taking the course there were two days when instructors did not even show up to the class. And when they did, they often did not know what they needed to go over that day because there were so many different instructors and they would not communicate with each other. It took 3 attempts to pass the NREMT as I felt like the education was lacking and I had to teach myself everything in the textbook after class was over. Of those I have talked to from class, only about half of them say they were capable of passing the NREMT, showing a huge flaw in the education received from EMT Utah.

All the instructors were so nice and the clinicals ran so smoothly and were helpful! I highly recommend this program to anyone who asks. They have an online portion and 3 in person classes, as well as 3 short clinicals from 6am- 2:30pm depending on location.

If it weren't for Arnold putting in a little more time with helping the students understand the questions I wouldn't have made it . He is very patient and also makes his students feel like famlee. some of the questions are repeated but asked differently, you have to be able to recognize them, so your not stumped. I wasn't as lucky as some it took me three times on the test before I passed. Thank You Arnold. I love Real Estate.

It's just across…read morethe drive from Ebb & Flow, and I happened to meander in before I went to my Ebb & Flow class last week to kill some time. They had lots of fabrics and notions. I didn't stay long, but I was particularly drawn in by the patches, and even found some cute tags one could Sew into handmade goods. I'll be sure to visit again, as I didn't have a lot of time to explore. They will be moving to a new location in the future, as the businesses in the alleyway/particular location are getting sold off.

I'm regularly a quilter and just getting into making clothing and was thrilled that they offer a pattern adjusting class. The owner is very sweet and knowledgeable. The classes are taught by Denise, who's pretty much a sewing celebrity in my eyes. :) This year's BOM choices are batik and Christmas themed. Denise is so patient in her teaching the entire roomful of quilters, ranging from beginner to advanced. She explains things well and I appreciate that she demonstrates the block assembly steps with a closeup camera on the projector screen. When I go in, most of the ladies and Logan are kind and personable. Sure, sometimes they're busy, and can't really talk, but they're helpful when they have the opportunity to engage. On a personal note, I think some of these negative reviews are unfair and kinda prejudiced.. Perhaps their own sour attitudes have been projected onto these ladies that spend their work days cutting lots of fabric and answering calls. They're not catty or mean, as portrayed in certain reviews. No offense, but it's not their fault that you don't know how to thread your inherited sewing machine. Look on YouTube or consult your manual. It's not their fault if you don't monitor your own machine's warranty. Read your paperwork. It shouldn't hurt your feelings if an employee tells you Nuttall's doesn't sell yarn.

I've had the pleasure of coming here twice in the past month - once for an event hosted by Cache Valley Cheese, and most recently for one of their cookie decorating classes. The space is huge! When you walk in you don't even realize how big it is until you start walking around. They have three large rooms with stoves, ovens - the works! Everything is stunning and so clean and sharp. It's a very welcoming environment as well. They have SO many different classes here, and I can't wait to take more. Their cookie decorating class was a lot of fun for all ages. Any kids under the age of 11 had to be accompanied by an adult. We learned how to decorate different festive cookies. The hosts were both wonderful, and walked around to help everyone. One of the hosts even offered to take some candid photos of us, which was so sweet. I saw on their website that they also host some intimate lunches, where the food is cooked right in front of you and enjoyed in a small group. There is so much that this place offers, and I can't wait to explore more opportunities here.

I got a perfectly nice haircut and scalp treatment. The reason I am rating them low is the prices…read moreon their website are no longer accurate. The last time I got a senior haircut there, it was $5. Today it was $8. The scalp treatment was supposed to be $3.50. Today it was $8.00! They are not allowed to advertise one price and charge another. When I told the clerk those prices were not on their official website, she just grunted, "well, I'll tell somebody"! She said the prices changed two months ago. This type of operation is not acceptable.
