Matt is a phenomenal lab owner and technician. In an industry that is constantly looking to cut corners and send out anything Matt makes sure all of his work is of the utmost quality. He really goes above and beyond for his clients and makes sure to make himself available for special cases that need extra attention. While he is a full service lab his removables are far superior than most other labs, and unlike most other labs he is young and will be around for decades to keep producing removables for the existence of ones' practice. read more

History

Established in 1954.

In 1954, World War II veteran Julius Weigand began his career as an employee of Oneida Dental Laboratory, Inc. When the owners of Oneida Dental Laboratory split up, Julius continued his vocation with Franklyn Lamoree at Lamoree Dental Laboratory, located at 1424 Genesee St. Franklyn sold the company in 1957 to Julius and Bud Macham. Together, they moved the company to 7 Hopper Street, within easy walking distance of Mohawk Dental in order to decrease service time for dentures. Before Bud's passing in 1968, the company became Utica Dental Laboratory. Julius' son Robert took an interest in the family business and joined his father in 1974. Robert did a great deal to add to Utica Dental Labs' reputation for quality craftsmanship, and he eventually took full ownership in 2000. In 2003, Robert's son Matt began working with Utica Dental Labs in the afternoons while going to school in the morning. Upon graduating in 2007, Matt joined Utica Dental Laboratory full time.

This is about hanger Orthodics in Utica, NY. ..... They are absolutely the worst place to do…read morebusiness with, don't waist your time go somewhere else. They never answer the phone. I left several messages every time I called, which was every day or every couple of days. It took almost a month for them to call me back. I finally scheduled an appointment, then a week or so later they had to cancel it for some reason. They rescheduled it weeks later when I went they told me sorry your appointment was for yesterday not today. I asked if they could fit me in sometime today because I took the day off from work for this appointment. They said no I would have to reschedule. You would think for what I went through to get this appointment they would try to help. I wrote the date in two places when I was on the phone with them when they gave it to me. It was their mistake not mine. 4 months later from when I started and still no service from this place. like I said in the begining don't waste your time find another place. Thank you, J. David Jones is an arrogant rude disrespectful jerk that has no business…read moredealing with the public at all the people that make the prosthetic devices are terrible slobs there workmanship is equal to a 3 yr olds the Secretary is rude and has no manners five times and still couldnt get a socket to fit me properly the equipment they supplied and installed was wrong for me and not even set up properly i will never go back to this hanger again!!!! I give them minus five stars !
