I see her at the Tulsa clinic, 2121 E 21st St. I've read reviews having negative issues. I particularly don't understand when people report difficulty in making appointments. Several doctors of this clinic also keep hours in Claremore. But that's only one day a week for them. It is a busy clinic. But as another reported, the doctor has "squeezed" me in when I called with an issue. It isn't uncommon for the parking lot and waiting room to be packed. That's my only negative. I'm a blue eyed blonde and one time sun goddess. I've regularly seen dermatologists as far back as I can remember. Her online profile mentions her interest in surgical dermatology and Botox. I have no experience with her outside of regular check-ins. And to that I'll say she is absolutely the most thorough I've ever experienced. I've found her assistants to not only be amiable but helpful with medications and prescribing. They work for you -- they know who has your meds, how much it costs, what discounts are available, etc. Another positive is their patient portal. Answered in a timely manner and no hesitation in giving you a call. Be sure to have all your insurance cards every time you visit and be prepared for minimal paper work once you're an established patient. Once your appointment is over you'll see the personnel at the front desk who will make your next appointment.

The next day my neck was very swollen and I had a terrible headache. I called the office to see what to do. Spoke to a nurse who ask me to take a picture and she was texting me a number so a doctor could look at. Never received a text! Called back, the office personnel said should receive soon. It's been 3 hours! Still no call back!

Everyone, including other patients in the lobby area, was masked. Dr Alison Fischer was professional, caring and took her time to discuss and explain several procedures and treatment options. She was also able to do one of the procedures in the office on the same day, without having to schedule another appointment. The MA during my appointment was excellent as well. I will definitely be continuing my dermatological care with Southside in the future.

The staff at the front desk are always very friendly and helpful when scheduling appointments and follow-ups.They are also very considerate in terms of how expensive prescriptions can be. Sometimes if the prices go up, I can just call and ask them to recommend more affordable options. The building has a parking garage right next to it so that is never an issue. You have to go up to the 5th floor for the offices. The spa is on the first floor. People confuse the two sometimes. They partner with the Skin Care Institute and often offer discounts for their treatments.

I wasn't even aware of the melanoma, she found it during a routine exam while it was still at stage 0 and removed it before it could spread. The staff reflects the same excellence that I have experienced with Doctor Rice. They treat the patients with the utmost respect, and the office atmosphere is completely professional. The atmosphere is relaxed, but there isn't any joking around, social talk, or any other inappropriate activities I've seen in other offices.
