The space the art gallery is housed is an amazing statement in itself. The decades of the past are presented here with new brush strokes to explore the world at large . Are you looking for a piece to inspire your space? You can purchase the are here too. In fact many artists that paint here draw their inspiration from the space. We were able to see the sacred work space on this day. What a wonderful treat . The value of some of these pieces are incredible? Some pieces of art on the smaller are under appreciated. The artists just have incredible talent. They offer so much . Painted with hope and heart for their silent voices to be seen.

Picture perfect!…read more Open is a Gallery/ Artist Commune/ Podcast/ Open Mic Night/ residential building. I have participated in a couple of the weekly Wednesday night Figure Drawing classes. The environment is ever changing with new art, ideas, and people just as I imagine a gallery would be. I really love the fact that the space caters to all types of artists with all skill levels. The artists that join us for the figure drawing are very welcoming and encouraging. The models can be full nude. The sessions are very tastefully done and professional focusing the time to be all about the learning experience. The cost to participate is extremely affordable. It is $10 for the 2 hours class and there is a tip jar for the wine and beer that is offered. Parking is limited so make sure to arrive a bit early for larger events. All events for the gallery are posted to their Facebook page which makes it easy to see if any of my other friends are showing up and who the model is going to be during the figure drawing class. My only complaint is that the space smells like an artist commune. I am not sure who delegates the chores, but the lived in bathroom and couches for guests need to be shown as much love as the local art. I look forward to heading back to a space where I can recharge and reconnect to my inner right brain sans desk job.

There is one room stuffed to the gills, it seems, with all of the art and prints and photographs that *aren't* on display. And just...wow. The volume alone could blow you away, but the pedigree of what is there is also enticing! In fact, if you love photography and even a little bit you'll be surprised at the size of this collection, the many famous originals, and the piles of images not on display. Going here feels like a set for a new TV drama, legal experts by day fine photographers on the side with a touch of southern charm. I'm the curious type and knew there was ain interesting story going on here. Ask to explore the offices the art is everywhere, many originals , lots for sale. If you take the time they will tell you the stories behind the images. You will recognize a lot of these from the covers of famous magazines, news, museums and Hollywood. There are a lot of artistic nudes and some more erotic like Helmet Newton so be advised if bringing kids or adults sensitive to that. Come and check this place out, be amazed to see images you know from National Geographic, Time and other places, see great local work too, and take some time to ask for some guidance and enjoy the history and stories. The exhibits are a bit antiquated and are missing a few things for kids- paper, pencils, crayons for rubbings. The movie goes on a bit for young kids. But I do think the exhibit about how rivers form is excellent! And I also thought the American Indian exhibit was interesting along with the exhibit about Lewis and Clark, which is at the end.

Simply a beautiful, large and creative piece of art work. Located in the Shelby park neighborhood this wonderful art mural is in a hotbed of public art. Literally within walking distance of 7-10 other very cool art murals. Me and my friend fellow yelper Jeremy J planned out an afternoon of trying new places and Checking out public art in the Shelby park and Nulu neighborhood. We was very excited for this particular piece and it did not disappoint. Very stunning. Overall Worth a trip to Shelby park. And while your there make an evening out of it. Check out other local public art grab w great hot dog and play ping pong across the street or hang out and find something to eat or but at the Logan street market just one block away.

She handled everything we needed in a timely manner and let my husband and I make decisions we both really wanted. Our wedding was held at the Frazier Museum in September 2017 and according to my family, my husbands family and all of the guests, there were no issues (Sorry Ellen and Melissa if there were :) ). Ellen was able to nail down the best vendors and work with us on a preferred caterer. There was literally nothing she didn't do that we had asked and even more.
