As soon as you walk in to the history you're immediately immersed in what it was like during slavery. The owner gave a brief historical discussion on some of the objects, relics, and statues found in the museum and it was definitely a learning experience to find out more information about those items. The museum has 2 different levels and both of those levels provides various rooms that describes the past, present, and future of Black History and what we can do to help make a in our society. There were also several rooms that offered glimpses of black culture, which was really cool to see.

From the art to the artifacts, every exhibit is immersive, emotional, and unapologetically raw and real. You don't just walk through history--you feel it. You almost need to walk the store twice to make sure you didn't miss anything. The items at Edenside Gallery are high end and priced as such. Don't let the sticker shock get you, just appreciate the work. Service was friendly and available if we needed someone. Street parking was easy to find and no meters in this section of the Highlands.

A French immigrant, Mr. Conrad moved in 1895, he made his wealth and name in Louisville as a leather tanning merchant. After his death in 1905 he sold it to his long term friend and prior tenant; Caldwell Family. The gentleman Mr Caldwell took the house to the next level. The different features of wood works continually improved and changed when they became the new owners. The is said to be haunted by a mysterious ghost, probably Mr Caldwell that pasted away in his bed in 1940. This individual made his fortune in constructing and building water towers. Some of the most interesting and famous ones are the one at Disneyland and the Catsup bottle both still around today. Come and see what they have saved historically for us all. Explore one of the best examples of preserved Victorian furnishings in the area that is available for the public. The guided tours are available and are included in this incredible visit.
