Just had new patio completed from Patio Guy and could not be happier. From start to finish Adam,…read moreBrody and team were tremendous! Online quote was simple and easy to follow. Adam came down next day for a detailed quote and Brody and team build new patio up in less than two days a couple weeks later. Would have been one day but they had to remove my old leaking patio otherwise it would have been one day job. 40 ft × 11 ft are dimensions for new patio which adds significant amount of usable patio space for us. Only regret is that I didn't do this years ago. Price, professionalism, communication, demo, build and clean up were all amazing. Highly recommended and would absolutely use again.

After meeting with Adam and several other contractors, I decided to go with Patio Guy not only…read morebecause of his five-star rating, but several other factors that were important to me (and probably you as well): 1) He could deliver and install my new cover within a week vs. the other guys taking months; 2) I wasn't limited to just the AlumaWood product (which wasn't modern enough for me), and (3) his price to install with an upgraded cover (insulated) was far below his competitors constrained by higher overhead and slower delivery times. I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

The patio cover itself turned out great; no issues with the final product, and the installation…read moreteam did solid work on that aspect. However, the way this company has handled a clear mistake is extremely disappointing. During installation, their team drilled into the tile on our second-floor balcony and failed to seal the holes. When it rained shortly after, water came through those openings and caused damage to the ceiling in our dining room below. This was entirely preventable and directly tied to the installation. What's more concerning is what happened next. I've spent weeks trying to get this resolved. I've been in contact with their employee (Elizabeth), who acknowledged the issue and repeatedly said it would be taken care of. Despite those assurances, there has been zero follow-through. Communication has been inconsistent at best, and more recently I've been completely ignored. At this point, the issue is no longer just the damage; it's the lack of accountability. Mistakes happen. Ignoring a customer after causing property damage is a much bigger problem. If you're considering this company, just be aware: the install may go well, but if something goes wrong, you may be on your own. I'm still hoping they step up and resolve this properly, but based on my experience so far, I would proceed with caution.

I used this company for my front and backyard landscaping and patio and cement. The contract we…read moresigned said the project would take 3-4 weeks to complete. Due to weather delays and lack of professionalism from this company and Reynaldo Ponce my project took over 4 months to complete. The irrigation drip system that they installed never worked properly and my new plants (close to $500.00 worth) died. He said we had a 2 year warranty on everything but that's only as good as a man's word and Rey ghosted us ever since. We had to pay another company to fix his mistakes. Save time, money and frustration and find a LICENSED CONTRACTOR, and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

He asked for money upfront and, after more than nine months of excuses and broken promises, he never finished the job. The work that was completed was poorly done. The ground was never leveled, leaving the sod uneven with holes throughout. The retaining wall blocks he delivered were not the ones we requested. He brought cheaper materials that we had specifically said we did not want. He also never finished installing the drains, leaving an important part of the project incomplete. Each week he assured us he would return to finish, but he never followed through. What was supposed to be a professional landscaping job ended up being a frustrating, costly, and disappointing experience.

Mario's team came on time, very detailed and really listened to customer's opinions and give honest feedback, his team has a great work ethics. After work all leftover pieces and dusts were cleaned. Most important, not like other yelp vendors with the 5 start but picked easiest customers to work in order to get the 5 stars or they don't take your requests, so when they tell you 5 starts just watch out on the other 5 star vendors. I'm really happy with MG Patio Mario's team performance and sure they deserve the 5 stars!!

I'm writing this after giving Mario multiple chances over several projects. We've hired him two…read moretimes for three patios now -- and every single job has had the same pattern: great communication at the start, quick to collect payment, and then a slow and frustrating decline in responsiveness and reliability. First and Second Patios (2023-2024) Mario initially quoted well and seemed easy to work with. But both projects ran behind schedule. He measured wrong on the first patio cover, used visible conduit without asking, and talked us out of gutters that later caused drainage issues. On the second patio, even after giving him a two-month lead time before a big event at our house, the job was only half finished when guests arrived. He did eventually complete them, but only after multiple calls, texts, and follow-ups. Third Patio (2025) This one has been a nightmare. We paid him a deposit in early June 2025 for what was supposed to be a simple project. From there, it was endless chasing -- days, then weeks, of messages like "tomorrow," "let you know soon," and "2 or 3 days." He stopped taking calls, ignored texts, and pushed the project off repeatedly. When he finally resurfaced, he said he couldn't get the material and the price had suddenly doubled from $4,000 to $8,000 without explanation. When we refused and asked for a refund, he promised to return the deposit in 30 business days -- that deadline passed long ago. Still no refund, only excuses about being "stuck with material" or "waiting on the company." Mario is personable and friendly at first, but once he has your money, everything slows down. His pricing looks attractive, but the delays, errors, and lack of accountability make it costly in the end. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt -- three times -- but after this last experience, I can't recommend MG Awning Services to anyone. I know people reading this will ask then why did you go back to him and as I stated, we wanted to give him a chance and he was very convincing that the issues wouldn't repeat themselves. My goal was to get him to come in and also correct the issues w/ the existing patios that we have noticed but nothing. His address here says San Jacinto but his invoices states that he is in Stanton California. Mario, if you're reading this -- please do the right thing and return our payment.
