Wow! Lots of flavorful cigarettes and vape juices. I quit smoking butts a few years ago but I remember this place always had the ultra hard to find - Kamels... no spelling error. If I had a relapse or it was my last day on earth I'd smoke those again. I should have gotten that rolling tray. Knowledgeable staff , good size store. I went to this store and asked if they happened to carry a certain type of smoke pipe and the owner immediately told me to "F*** off, F****** loser." . Walked in here on a weekday morning soon after they opened to buy a vaporizer to help me quit smoking. The tall, bearded dude behind the counter was helping someone else ahead of me, and was vaping huge clouds while he did so. He helped me select a setup, and I ended up going with a mid-priced one, as well as a couple of juices. He was kind of inattentive, but really nice and helpful nonetheless. He was the only person working the counter and maybe he was a little overwhelmed. The only off-putting part was that this woman came in while I was waiting for him to ring me up, and started ranting to him, something about drugs and stealing something, in that loud and repetitive way that people addicted to opiates sometimes have... He kept telling her he didn't want to talk about it with his boss in the back room and that he was at work, etc. And it's probably actually...normal for the area around Quincy Center in my experience. But still. Could have done without having to awkwardly look at the selection of glass pieces while he tried to get rid of this lady. No judgment on him for this, I don't care who you choose to associate yourself with. It's more the fact that this woman barged into the shop that kind of spoiled my experience. Not sure how anyone could have controlled that. I had a good experience overall. I'll be back to buy more juice soon. read more

Needed an entirely new rig setup. Walked in and they hooked me up with everything I needed. Best service ever. And he didn't even ask what I needed just asked me which one. Threw in a free container and nail for free and the propane for free. Couldn't be happier with the glassware. Highly recommend I'll be going back for anything I need. Great selection, excellent service. I am in the minority of "vapers", as I use a small vape pen with 12 mg nicotine and although they have a large variety of mostly tanks and 6 mg or less liquids, they also have something in the range I'm looking for and I feel like they keep it around even though that's not where the market is these days bc they know that have at least one local customer who is looking for it. I am a frequent flyer there and recently lost my ray bans and frantically looked everywhere- I finally thought to call V and K where I had been 2 days prior, and they had them and even ran them out to my car for me. I have never been more proud to be a local regular somewhere than right now!!! So grateful and impressed with their honesty and loyalty in holding onto these for me!! Place sucks!!!! There in it just for the money. They don't care about their customers at all. I got a mod there a few months ago and there was a problem with it so I brought it back 2 Days Later and showed them the problem and it would not exchange it's for me. I moved to Quincy 3 years ago. While in Quincy Center I noticed several stores sell both hardware as well as juice. I stopped in to V.K. first to pick up a 30ml bottle of juice. An employee came over and I wasn't sure if he was having a bad day or what. Rude, Crude, and Pushy. Since they do have many of the flavors I like I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Wrong! V&K Smoke Shop - On the corner of Hancock St and Revere Rd. I am a frequent visitor to this fine establishment. They have a great selection of ready-made tobacco products, RYO (roll your own), 'alternative' smoking supplies, and, of most interest to me, vaping gear! To anyone unfamiliar, vaping refers to the use of electronic cigarettes. I was a pack a day smoker for 25 years. In November of 2013, I quit using an electronic cigarette. I had tried all the other nicotine replacement methods before including patches, gum etc. Nothing stuck. But, vaping helped me quit without a single stumble. It has now been almost a year and a half since my last cigarette, it's been a breeze. The thought of putting a but to my lips is utterly repulsive. I can't stand the smell of smoke now. Although I do still support the rights of smokers as human beings with the free and LEGAL choice to put whatever legal substance into their bodies they wish to. I think it's complete BS that cigarettes are both heavily taxed and completely vilified to the point of almost being illegal. I digress. V&K has an amazing selection of goods for the modern vaper. They carry the latest PV's, Atomizers, batteries, E-liquids, starter kits, Ego style batteries and anything else you could want, and at competitive prices! They also have probably the biggest selection of glass pipes and water pipes in the Quincy area. There are, quite literally, hundreds of pipes on display. That's just the stock that's visible. I'm sure there is even more 'in the back room'. For smokers, V&K offers a unique service. You can buy loose tobacco and unfilled cigarette tubes for short money, and then go around to the other side of the building where there is a person running a machine, about the size of a large copier, into which you put your tobacco and tubes, and in about 4 minutes it will produce a cartons worth of firm, round, well packed and consistent cigarettes! There is a small fee for the machine work, but the total cost for the cartons worth of smokes comes out to (I think) less than 2/3 of retail price for Marlboros etc. A great deal for RYO; quick, neat and effortless. BOTTOM LINE: I strongly suggest you check out V&K Smoke Shop on Hancock St in Quincy, or their other location in Brighton. You will not be disappointed! read more

I have never wrote a review and I felt compelled to sign up for yelp just to write this one. The glassware I bought broke as soon as I put it together, called back and the guy was extremely hostile and rude and proceeded to accused me of breaking it myself just so I can get another one for free. Yea d bag I drove 40 min to get something for 35 bucks just so I can break it and scam ur broke ass for a new one... I realize there are scammers out there and as a business man I try to protect myself from it as well, but where have morals and manners and just plain common sense gone?
