I responded no thank you I will go elsewhere. Went to another local locksmith and got the key for 4.99 plus tax! Besides being a rip off they put there stickers on every commercial door! I pealed the ones off my door and within days they put new ones up. I called them and asked them to STOP putting stickers on my door, but they repeatedly continued to put them on our doors. I would encourage everyone to go elsewhere.

He walked in with no "hello" or anything like that it was "what do you need?". I told him I needed a key copied. He took the original from me, copied it and rang me up. Not a single word spoken. Our front door lock had been hard to turn for awhile, and today my key actually broke and became…read morestuck in the lock due to my clumsy attempt to force open the door. Thank goodness someone was home to let me in and I immediately consulted Yelp for a local locksmith. Call me old fashioned but I like to use a brick and mortar store when it comes to locks and security. (Had a bad experience in the city from a "mobile locksmith" years ago but that's a story for another day). I spoke to Jose at Merrick Master Locksmiths, we agreed on a price range and he was at my house in less than 30 minutes. Jose extracted the broken key and fixed the lock in about 10 minutes including a nice hit of WD-40 to lube it up, something I'll do in future periodically to keep things working well. Price was reasonable for a house call and he even threw in 2 free spare keys made at the store later that day. Lock is working perfectly now.
