The crew showed up on time at the agreed upon date. This vendor had previously done work for me with no problems on a prior job and I was expecting everything to go smoothly. I even referred them to my neighbor who hired them for some additional work to be done while they were onsite at my house. Unfortunately, there was a disagreement about what 2 large branches were supposed to be trimmed on a large oak tree. I did not get the work done that I had agreed upon with Jordan. I needed a large branch removed that was in danger of falling on my neighbor's shed. That had been discussed at length with Jordan and was the primary reason for the job. A different and much smaller branch was removed instead. Stump grinding was part of the job and that part was completed as agreed. The stump grinding equipment was left in my neighbor's driveway and a truck came to pick it up. The truck drove across my lawn. This was really not necessary since the equipment was parked in a driveway and easily accessible without driving across my lawn. This is not a big deal for me (my lawn is ok) but some folks do get upset about this stuff. Misunderstandings about which branches were to be trimmed can happen. However, I don't feel that they really cared to try and resolve the issue with a reasonable compromise in good faith. Poor attitude. I paid them in full for taking down a different branch and will now have to hire another vendor to finish the job. This vendor is no longer welcome on my property. If you do use this vendor, make sure you get each branch clearly marked.

This company just attempts to blow the leaves onto grass and tries to cut grass (instead of picking up and bagging the leaves). The problem is there is still tons of leaves left in the shrubbery and also many parts of the leaves blown onto the grass aren't fully cut, so they blow back onto the patio and other parts of the house. After talking with Alfredo (owner) on the phone, he tried to say that is how he does it. But this is OBVIOUSLY the lazy way to try and remove leaves from a property. Within days of contacting First Class Lawn care, Andrew was responsive and they had a team out to our house. It was in a very tight spot, in a city setting. They weren't able to use a bucket truck because it wouldn't fit in the driveway. So the tree had to be climbed and cut down to size. It was an amazing thing to see, one climber, Jason, did the entire job with the help of two or three other crew who assisted, and did clean up. They were incredibly precise, having to maneuver in a tight space, surrounded by wires and other property. Not one wire came down, not one thing was damaged, and it was done in a ONE day! It started raining in the morning, even a little thunder and they just kept going. These people are absolute professionals, friendly, respectful, honest, and fairly priced. We got an original quote, and did not change the quote one bit once they got there and realized the amount of work that had to go into it, without the bucket.

I wanted him to remove almost everything, minus a couple really old trees; me being an idiot and knowing squat about the trees I had, juan pointed out the ones I'd want to keep and explained why, Juan also recommended removing trees that were dying which I did not notice were dying, going as far as pointing out what was wrong with a very large tree that I wanted to keep (after he pointed a couple things out it was really obvious this tree in question needed to go, the tornado warning recently only proved this.)
