The guy behind the counter said " I saw your text but ignored it because we had an issue" They asked me to yet again bring my car back because of their poor job, I opted to find a different shop. With 3 kids, no idea how we would get home and in general what we were going to do, I am beyond grateful that we had AAA tow the car, off the 215 freeway, to J & G transmissions. James, the owner, was knowledgeable and extremely quick in assessing the situation (of the car and of our family). He lent us a car to drive to get lunch while his team assessed, fixed and double checked the car. His daughter Amber is a saint, providing coloring books, drawing supplies, a tidy coffee bar and best of all, otter pops just when we needed them. She kept the experience positive and kept our hopes up. I cannot believe how quickly they fixed our mini-van and how wonderful they were. Priceless. Businesses like this are special and really uncommon.

We were told after making a call to a shop that its probably the alternator considering the battery change didnt fix the issue. I went on Yelp and Best Buds Mobile service popped up with 5 star reviews so I called. The gentleman that answered was genuine as explained that we thought it was the alternator. He gave me a quote that was within what I was willing to pay. I asked him if he had a number to a tow place so I can get it towed to them. He said "its ok we come to you". I was surprised but then "duh" it says "mobile" in their name. He also told me it would probably be about and hour and a half for them to repair. WHAT! It really did seem too good to be true. The shop we had previously called quoted us double what these guys quoted. They literally showed up within 30 min they arrived at that Maverick parking lot and probably less than the time frame he told me it would take them to fix it we were on our way back to Provo and now we are home and our car is running perfectly! These guys are a gem! I Googled the cost to replace the alternator and they were within the range. So Im going to say they are honest. I wish they were in in Vegas. But now we know if there are any car repair needs for us when in Utah or our family we will be reffering Best Buds Mobile Services. The dealer wanted $900, a tire store that I use regularly wanted about $450. Pro repair charged me $110. They have replaced transmissions, done tune ups and a variety of stuff in between. They have done diagnostics for me and I've had to force money in their hand for it, as they are just good guys. Their prices are very reasonable. Sometimes they get a little backed up as good places do. I will always wait for them though. Being a small business owner myself with just me working, I believe in being patient and waiting for good service. Poor reviews because someone has a lot of work is poor taste.
