I recently moved to Tooele County and have been looking for a place to get an oil change. I've always had the best service from small, locally owned shops so when I saw Tooele Tire and their rating I knew I had to check them out. I'm glad I did. I was in and out fast (less than 45 minutes), Eric was friendly, the shop was clean, and price was fair. I called to make an appointment and they were able to get me in the same day, but the next day worked better so I made an appointment for right when they opened. I arrived a little after 8 AM and they were ready for business and promptly assisted me. Eric told me the oil options and pricing, and the team quickly got to work on my car. I arrived about 8:05 and was out by 8:45. The waiting area was clean and seating was spaced out to allow social distancing. Masks were also required. Eric thanked me for my business. This is the best place in town to get honest, friendly service. Eric and staff won't try and make you buy more than what you need. I needed tires for both my '92 Chevy pickup, and rear tires for my 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8. He told me I'd be okay with just 2 tires on my truck, but since I wanted them to match, I got all 4. He showed me the options and let me decide. On my Challenger, he showed me exactly what I wanted. Got them all done the same day, as well as an oil change. He uses the best quality products for oil changes and will let you know if he sees anything wrong. Overall a great experience! read more

Just moved to the area, I was going to take my car jiffy lube or Walmart to get an oil change. The Tooele Walmart had the worst customer serve and jiffy lube had a two hr wait. In desperate need of an oil change, I took it to Tooele Tire. Amazing customer service walked through the best oil for my car. No pressure on what oil I could go with the cheap end or pay a little more. While waiting got a quote on a tune-up. Again explained the process, extremely friendly very affordable. read more

My daughter moved to Tooele a few years ago and Eric, at Tooele Tire, was so thorough he found problems that could have compromised her safety driving her 2006 Honda Pilot. Living 1,000 miles away, I was very grateful that she was so well taken care of. Recently, she had other issues with her Pilot and Eric was able to diagnose a fairly innocuous problem. I have to start from the beginning, I was four wheeling up Stockton canyon and hit a huge rock in my truck and really messed up the alignment so bad that in less than forty miles I wore out my front tires, I took my truck to Less Swab and was told by them that they could not align my truck it was "to out of whack" (their words). Victors said the frame was bent and said I had to take it to a frame shop first. Big O could not get me in for at least a week and the kid at Mario's said they were not very good at alignments but they could sell me two new tires for the front...WTF! I was driving up Main Street and seen Tooele Tire so not hoping for much I went in and talked to the owner and told him no one else in Tooele can align this truck could he? he said "pull it in and let's take a look at it". Twenty minutes later on their Super-Duper High-Tech alignment rack and my truck was driving like brand new. I was bad mouthing the other garages I went to and the Tooele Tire owner said the other garages in Tooele are all great shops and each have their specialties they are really good at but their workers probably just don't have the experience he does with Alignments, he said he has been doing alignments, suspension and front end work for twenty years. I learned that the owner of Tooele Tire is a humble guy with a lot of skill, and we are lucky to have a guy/shop like this in Tooele. Any front end problems, tires or oil changes I will be going back to Tooele Tire. read more

My van started dying when we'd stop at lights. Went to two different shops who wanted to charge over $500. Decided to give Tooele Tire a try and they diagnosed the problem with me standing next to them, fixed it for $40, and I've never had the problem again.
