Vatilii gave very complete estimates and provides them usually by the evening of the day after his site visit or early the next day. His estimates are generally in the same rage of other bidders. He has completed each of the projects usually when he has forecasted it unless supplies were insufficient. I have included pictures of 3 projects he has done for me. Project 1, he installed wall tiles, hardware, plumbing and a shower door. Project 2, installed wall tile and the plumbing for the Master bathroom soaker/tub. Projects 3, cut, sanded, stained, clear coated red oak 16ft hand rail for a 15 and 16 set of stairs. His accuracy, attention to details, use of advanced tools was demonstrated with identifying one of the walls of the guest bathroom was not straight/level and he made the appropriate modifications to fix the wall before he installed the wall tiles. He works very hard and cleans up when he finishes. You get a knowledgeable, quality mind and consciousness contractor that keeps his word and meets or exceeds your expectations. I hired V B Custom Fix to address a problem with a leaking gutter that was resulting in some water damage to adjacent wood trim. Vitalii was able to respond on short notice and quickly diagnosed the problem as simply a blockage in the downspout. He fixed the gutter issue, and then repaired/replaced the damaged trim, caulked, and painted everything so that the repair was invisble. Vitalii provided outstanding same-day service and did excellent work on two problem doors in our new home. Our front entry door was in rough shape--it was rubbing badly against the jamb, and the deadbolt would only latch if you pulled the door in. I had a doorknob and deadbolt that not latch properly and needed to be pulled (or pushed) against the door frame upward and hard in order to lock the door, apparently because the strike plates were misaligned. Usually, I prefer choosing making my decisions based on the number of stars and reviews. Vitalli was the first person to respond to my project request and provide a quote and availability within hours. I waited a few days to see if I can get other quotes from different companies but what sold me was when Vitalli send pics of his previous work (with him included in the pic) I instantly followed my gut and hired him for the job. The day of the project install (garage ceiling storage racks) was the day after we had the cyclone bomb in the pnw. My home was without power so I messaged Vitalli the night before if it was best to reschedule for another day. Vitalli said it was not a problem and install was still-a-go. He arrived on-time and got straight to work with no power, working in the dark using his head lamp.
