I also needed the width of the gate widened because originally they made the opening too narrow, so they were able to widen the opening before the rest of the fence was installed. I appreciate them checking with me halfway through the project. A few weeks ago one of the posts was failing I put in a warranty claim. They came out quickly and replaced it. If you have any specific design needs, it's best to have it typed out with photos in messenger, and also review in person when the work starts. We initially hired them for a bathroom remodel, followed by a single-floor bedroom addition and new Trex decking. As the work progressed, we also added several smaller projects, including cutting in and framing a new window, framing an interior hallway door, and building a side gate. Overall, we're very happy with their work. The addition, in particular, turned out beautifully and fits naturally with the rest of the house. Because the projects were completed in phases, the overall timeline was longer than we initially expected, though not necessarily due to Alpha & Omega. Hilder coordinated the projects and was easy to reach, providing clear, daily updates about what to expect. Antonio served as the on-site lead, and he and his crew were friendly, accommodating, and respectful of our space, especially since we were living in the home during construction. I hired Alpha & Omega to build a gate at the front of our property. I quoted the job out and most-other folks were several multiples higher on the quote, such that, honestly, I questioned Alpha & Omega's ability to do a good job at what they were quoting me. They proved me wrong. They built a big, strong, attractive, heavy gate, wherein the hardware is installed straight and flush, everything is square - it looks and works great. Not the hardest job in the world, but that is the point: they did a relatively straightforward job well and at a reasonable price. Where Alpha and Omega set themselves apart though, for me, is when some issues arose after substantial completion - namely the inability of the gate to stay open with wind and the like because it is so large. When these issues arose, both Hilder, the owner I believe, and Antonio, who did the work primarily, were friendly, persistent and creative in their approach to solving the problem. They offered a warranty on the gate at the time of build, and came out, no questions asked, at least 3-4 times to troubleshoot and implement new solutions. Antonio came out on a Sunday to try to make things right actually. While one could say, or argue, that a 'better' outfit would have done the job right the first time, the reality is that there are very often issues regardless, and I believe you find out a lot about a company based on how they respond to those issues. I can tell that Alpha and Omega is out there doing their thing, trying to build a business. I was disheartened to come here and see they do not have great reviews. Provided you give these guys projects that are appropriate for their skill sets, and you are open to the possibility that there could be some issues to navigate, whether language issues up front, or maybe small issues after the fact to address, you will do fine here. Again, the most important thing is that these are guys who will stand behind their work. Would hire again and would recommend.

Every aspect of is work, technology and and outcomes are exceptional!! We found ourselves with a very old unique 2-section, curved sliding gate which had become decrepit and and non-operative. The wrought iron gate panels themselves were graceful and made quite a fashionable statement when moving in a wide arc to allow passage. We were determined to maintain the elegance of this gate, yet update while renovating the entire system. Did I mention the one-off uniqueness of the gate system? Every piece of the moving gate infrastructure had to be replaced and updated. The new motors are so big and strong, they can seemingly pull large trees out of the ground. The visitor access panel is state of the art, hardened touch screen technologies which offer a whole array of user friendly ways to mange the gate access. But perhaps to me, the most amazing thing Josiah did was to custom manufacture a new hardened steel v-runner for the new upgraded wheels to roll upon. This was no Small Feat since it had to be made by hand and a trained eye. I was just WOWED by the quality of work, implementation and best-in-class components. The value delivered far outweighs the cost of the work and my pucker-factor is much relieved for having engaged Josiah on addressing this important community asset. To add to all of this, we had a minor warranty issue just recently popup & Josiah was there the next morning and made it all good in 10 minutes! However, a mishap costing us an extra $5K and communication with Luis left me feeling uncomfortable. I would not recommend him to others. I asked for 3 sides of our large backyard fence to be torn down and reconstructed. I said I wanted it to wrap around from our previous newer fenced section to our home. I asked for a walk-in gate. This was all in the LMS quote/bid. I asked Luis if we should do a walk-through before work began, and he said no, that wouldn't be necessary. This will be important later... By end of day 2, I realized they were leaving out a large portion on 2 of the sides. NO gate planned. I double-checked with Luis and he said other than the gate, which I guess was forgotten, that the 2 sections weren't apart of the bid. WHY would someone want to leave two 8-foot panels of old, withered, falling down fence between sections of new 7-foot fence? WHY would someone not complete a fence to the home, and leave a huge gap? That doesn't make sense. But, he told me it would cost an extra $5K. Unfortunately, I felt stuck since I wanted this job done, and they had already begun construction. I agreed, and now my project was costing us 1/3 more. On the 4th day, Luis called me while I was at work. He said the fence & gate were completed, and 2 of his guys would be waiting in my driveway for the FULL payment. I don't get cell service at the school I teach at, and as I'm driving home, I find out I'm responsible for racing to the bank within 20 minutes and picking up my kids from school. Impossible. Not only this, I find it unprofessional that there was no *walk-through* offered after the work was completed. He didn't want to give my husband and I a chance to look it over first? Make sure the craftsmanship was okay? I just don't agree with paying $15K for without this step. The next day, he was working another job far away so he couldn't collect from me. I offered to pay him the following day. Immediately Luis' texts became short, rude and made me uncomfortable. He claimed he couldn't pay "his guys" because of me. I even offered to pay him on the weekend, but he said he was out of town. He said, quote, "You have my money, but it is what it is." I'm sorry, the way you conduct your business has absolutely nothing to do with one client... the work literally JUST GOT DONE!! Banks are only open certain hours, and I have a full time job myself. He was paid the exact week that the work was completed, but after several tense text conversations. He would not text for 2 days and then demand to come by the next morning. "I will come by in the morning." No friendly greeting or even a question if that's ok with me. What?? One of his guys broke one of our in-ground irrigation sprinkler pipes, and when I told him my husband noticed this, I got no response until days later. I asked again, and he said it was all fixed. If I hadn't have said anything.. would he have told me?? For the additional $5K, we agreed to pay the following month. Luis sent me multiple Venmo requests. I tried several times to pay him via Venmo, but Venmo flagged it as "unsafe" and would not let it go through. Somehow, again, this was my fault, and I had to receive several curt texts. I asked him where I could send a check, and his response was "The address is on the bid". Just not .. kind. I always tried to be friendly and open. After our check was sent and cashed, we got no receipt and no "thank you for your business" email or text. Check sent, nothing. Lastly, he avoided questions about their warranty. On their website it says 2 years; on the contract, it states that the warranty goes by the materials - which I have no idea about. I asked several times, no answer. To this day, I have no idea if they'll fix something within a year or even 6 months. All in all, I'm left feeling unsatisfied about our business exchange. While the work seems quality, Luis' demeanor and the fact that we had to pay such a large extra cost for something I asked for in the bidding process leaves much to be desired. Elijah walked us through the different cedar and post options, which was very helpful. When our neighbors expressed interest in having part of their fence done as well, Elijah was happy to meet with them promptly to provide a quote. Andreii was extremely communicative and kept us updated throughout the project. They completed our fence (including our neighbor's portion) in just 2.5 days. Our fence required some shrubs to be trimmed, which they handled as well for no extra cost. They did a great job cleaning up afterward. We were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the work and the overall experience. Highly recommend Optima!

The estimate included every detail. Work began within days and was finished after two days. The workers were polite and hard working showing great patience with changes made during construction. Nothing was sloppy as even precise cuts were made where needed. Double and single gates included steel posts for extra strength. A baseboard along the entire fence keeps animals from digging under it and holds back ground where it was uneven. On top of all this the price was reasonable and competitive. Optima gets my highest recommendation.
