The office only has 2 desks so staff will take a while for each transaction. Anticipate long duration. Eat before your appointment to prevent grumpiness ;)

It's pretty lively on weekends with lots of people walking around, students busking, families hanging out, there's a ping pong table, and it's nice that they close down part of the middle roadway so pedestrians can walk easier and much more willy nilly, as well as opportunities for al fresca dining. Food options that I saw were Japanese, Thai, Korean, Chinese (from many regions), Indian, Mexican, American, Mediterranean, and much more. What impressed me the most was the expression when he read the words I wrote on the canvas. ( The words described how I was inspired by the Santa Clara County Police Department, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto and Mountain View and they are from my heart) I could tell when he was reading it, the impact on him was so in tone with mine. I knew from that moment on that I gave the gift to the RIGHT person whose heart is at the right place. In other words, he loves this country with passion just like me. Later on, by contacting his staff I sensed how much he is respected by his staff in the department too. In this turbulent time we are all facing in our society, we need people like him to help our country even though it is like salmon swimming upstream. I was inspired by him and I know from the bottom of my heart that he is the guiding light in Mountain View Police Department. With his leadership, our police department can head toward the right direction to protect us good citizens in spite of the difficult and challenging tasks the police department have on hand in general today. On July 22, 2026 I called the MVPD because there was a young girl in the Church rolling around a…read moredark blue trash can. This was at 748 Mercy Street around 1:00 am. Officer Salcedo and I walked the perimeter and she wasn't there rolling around the large dark blue trash can. The trash can was gone. Before I called I walked back around and saw her. She changed her clothes, and took her hair down. When the Officer gave me the incident card the number said 0001. Case numbers do not start with numbers like this. When I asked why he used this number he said " we just got a new system" and yours is the first incident I've written up today. He put his badge as 46. Badge numbers are 5 digits. He wrote Patrol Check. This was definitely a Suspicious Circumstance. Has anyone heard that the MVPD has gotten a new system that generates incident report numbers starting with 0001? There is still known Prostitution going on in that Church. Michael Espinoza who goes by "Uncle Michael" is there on a regular basis. I pointed out that there are signs now up letting people know where upstairs is and downstairs on the outside of the doors. There is nobody allowed in the Church. People are only allowed during the hand out times specified on the boards outside and wall.

The male librarian is very helpful when I want to ask him on how to make a copy. The female old librarian is gossiping about Asian people and making fun at them. The young teenager is making fun at the Asian populations. Other people are gossiping about other person's life after 4pm. In general, the quality of the people who come to this library are better during the morning , but the quality of the people are getting worse as the day goes by, especially during the evening hours.
