Left a review for a home in Rodanthe, NC and when I checke on it, Vacasa only posted the positive comments. Seemed very misleading. Rented a beach house right on the ocean, which was great, but there were a lot of issues with the home. The pool was constantly full of sand and it was very dirty when we arrived. The pool serviceman didn't clean it until the next day, so we lost a day using it. Also, the pool serviceman told us he would be back to clean it again midweek, and on Wednesday, he hadn't showed, and we had to call Vacasa for service to clean it and it took until midday Thursday for it to be cleaned again. Big problem of ants in the house. We arrived and found ants on the kitchen counter. Throughout our stay, we repeatedly found ants in the kitchen (including cabinets and the microwave), and in bedrooms and bathrooms, floors, etc. throughout the house. They were everywhere in the house. We had to buy ant spray and additional ant traps in order to keep deal with them. The beach area right behind the house is very small (assume due to erosion), and while we were there, a lot of debris (wood beams, metal wires, concrete blocks) washed up right on the beach in front of the house. The amount of wood and wires laying on the beach made it a safety hazard and practically impossible to use the beach. People from the town came to check it out, bt now one removed it. Additionally, the beach sand was very dirty (black) for some reason. We basically could not use the beach by our house during our stay. Finally, the house was not cleaned well before we arrived. We found dirt/track under furniture. Don't think I will use Vacasa again. read more

We stayed at Mallard Lakes (158 Cardinal Ln) managed by VueStay and had one of the worst vacation rental experiences we've had. We couldn't get into the property for almost two hours because the electronic lock failed. During that time, over $40 of frozen food spoiled while we waited outside. Guest Services repeatedly said they were "opening tickets" but could not actually contact the local representative or provide meaningful assistance. Once inside, the condo smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, the enclosed porch smelled heavily of marijuana, the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes that had clearly been sitting for days, and dirty bed linens were left in an upstairs closet. We ended up buying cleaning supplies, dishwasher cleaner, bleach, and odor-removal products ourselves just to make the condo livable. We spent approximately six hours of our vacation dealing with problems that should have been addressed before check-in. The local contact returned only one missed call, left the same Guest Services number we had already been calling, and never followed up despite repeated calls and texts. The biggest disappointment wasn't just the property's condition--it was the complete lack of ownership from VueStay. Every representative could only "open another ticket," but no one was empowered to solve the problem. We have contacted the property owner directly to make them aware of how their home was presented to guests. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend renting a property managed by VueStay. read more

The fridge finally was repaired the following Monday, 8 days after we checked in. We has to throw away 90% of the food. Vacasa said they will refund us $20 per day for not having a fridge. It cost us 5x that amount to eat out every day, which we did not account for. Their communication was horrible They said the supervisor for the area was going to call me to discuss the issue. They never called. I called everyday to check on the status of the repair of the fridge. Every day I asked that the supervisor call me. Still waiting for a call !!! Side note, the AC in the unit we are in will not go below 72. We set it at 68 and a few minutes later it changes back to 72. I think the owners control it remotely. Not cool !!!! We rented in Bayville Shores DE. DO NOT USE VACASA. If you use VRBO, check the lister and make sure it is not VACASA. Recommend Long & Foster. My darling lake house was NEVER taken care of!! The renters they let use it destroyed everything and every nice thing in the home was stolen! If I could leave no stars, I absolutely would.I would never stay at this place again.My husband has been reaching out multiple avenues to try to get someone to assist us with at least a partial refund for this trip.And we've gotten no responses from anyone doing anything with any consequence , so I guess this is our only way to get any help. We stayed from the end of May into the beginning of June for 7 days. All of these 7 days that we were in this room, we had no air conditioning. We notified them the morning after we got there as we got there late at night and noticed it wasn't working and it was very hot in the room. We notified maintenance and spoke to the property manager , he talked down to my husband as if we didn't know how to use central a c unit he then said they would send someone emergency. They never sent anyone and no one ever came the entire trip and then we went to the front office when we checked out and complained about it. And they told us that the property manager wrote something different in his notes and said that he had been by and fixed it, but no one had ever come. My older parents were in the room almost the entire trip. Having to stay out on the balcony in order to be in the area as it was unbearable in the room. It was over 80° for 5 days, straight out of our 7 day trip, we called multiple times and tried to get help multiple times and no one has done anything everyone keeps passing it off on the next website. Or group that needs to handle it, everyone keeps saying that the property manager is the one that needs to determine if they will even look at giving us a partial refund for the trip. We've heard nothing back. I Think that this company needs to be reminded that the law in maryland is that starting June 1st There has to be working AC in rental properties and it cannot go above I believe 79 or 80° in the room. It stayed above 80°, 5 days straight that we were there from June 1st all the way until the fifth, when we left, I even took pictures, and we showed it to them and they still did not listen. The blinds were broken on the balcony. When we got there, the screen for the balcony was also broken. We had to keep the doors shut because they told us not to vent the room and we had small children that we did not want accessing the balcony without permission with the broken screens. My husband and I have been bounced around from person to person trying to figure out who to talk to and everyone keeps putting it off on someone else that they need to handle it and not the person we're talking to, we keep getting dismissed and no one has handled anything we want, at least a partial refund. Because the trip was absolutely unbearable in the actual room. Not to mention that the toilet in the guest bathroom was not even bolted to the floor my elderly father almost fell off the toilet. We also noticed that there were ant traps all over the property. I guess they were trying to keep the ants away. We still did see some, but it also is summertime and most likely and not people were not staying in the property during the fall and winter. That's understandable, however, what isn't understandable, is not having AC working properly and then having a property manager that lies about coming to fix property. As I said before, my elderly parents were there in the property.Almost the entire time and no one came to fix anything. In addition to that, the day before we left, the lights went out in the kitchen and we notified that of that as well when we left. If we could have canceled and just got our money back or found somewhere else to stay, we would have done that. But being as it was through a third party rental property management company, we have just been bounced around with no solutions and no resolution. Last week my family stayed at Sandy Pines Unit 424B in Bethany Beach for 5 days, 4 nights and we had the worst experience ever. We booked our trip through Priceline which their website said the unit was "Exceptionally Clean" which at the time we believed to be true. Not knowing that we would be going through the property manager, Vacasa, for the rest of the trip, I was unable to look up reviews of them, but I really wish I had known otherwise I never would have chosen this house. We were told the house was ready 3+ hours prior to our checkin time which the cleaning staff could have used to properly clean this place. Immediately upon entering we could smell the scent of cigarette smoke, which after finding previous reviews had been an ongoing issue with other travelers for the past 2+ years. The claim to have installed 2 (could only find 1) air purifiers, but once I tried turning that on, it didn't even power on! I immediately contacted Vacasa, who after some time sent out someone from their cleaning staff to spray Lysol, which she did right next to my 16 month old son! Use some common sense not to spray chemicals around a toddler! The other thing we spotted after entering was a spider crawling around. With all the lights on, it's still very dark inside. After our initial thoughts on the home we decided to wash the bedsheets because we were unsure whether the cleaning staff had actually washed them. We tried to wash the comforter too due to the white stain we found but was too big for the washer. Our solution was to go to TJ Maxx and buy blankets to use at night. Later that night we gave our son a bath before bed, but allowed him to play on the floor downstairs for a bit. Once we picked him up the bottom of his feet were ALL BLACK. Was this place ever cleaned? Other issues we discovered were paint chipping from the walls and ceiling, the oscillating fan in the kids bedroom was either covered in dust or rust (didn't bother plugging in to see if it works), extension cable across the doorway to the back door which is a tripping hazard, dirty windows, rusted toaster oven, water damage to the ceiling downstairs, laundry door isn't on it's track, hose at kitchen sink is damaged and can't be used, table lamp switch in kids bedroom is damaged and must be plugged in through cord at the outlet, the bed in the master bedroom is being held up by a PVC pipe, I kid you not! Some other oddities included shampoo and conditioner samples in the downstairs half bathroom where there is no shower or tub, and a sample of dish detergent that cannot be used in the dishwasher. You will also find leftover food in the cabinets that I guess people have left behind over the years - no idea how old some of it was. I'm glad we also brought along our own pans, cookie sheets, and spatula rather than using the ones they had. I would never recommend using Vacasa at any of their locations after the week we had. We spent as much time as we could away from the house just so we wouldn't have to be there. read more

Disappointing Stay - Poor Maintenance, Cleanliness, and Customer Service We stayed at a Vacasa-managed property in Soda Springs, CA for 8 nights and were very disappointed with the overall experience. From the moment we arrived, we noticed several unresolved maintenance and safety issues: a detached front step (a clear safety hazard), a broken towel rack, damaged window and door screens throughout the house, and a broken dining chair. Cleanliness was well below acceptable standards. The vinyl floors were so dirty we had to clean them ourselves. The carpets were heavily stained, and the upstairs shower drained slowly. One bedroom had a strong odor, which we eventually traced to rotting food behind a dresser. The oven stopped working for the last couple of nights and began beeping constantly with a "fault" error. We discovered it wouldn't heat above 150°F and had to resort to trial-and-error with an unlabeled breaker panel to silence the alarm--another potential safety concern. Despite reaching out, the customer service we received felt automated and impersonal, offering little real help. We ended up abandoning the oven entirely. We rented a home in Scottsdale and it was excellent. Vacasa's communication was good but clearly automated or AI. The property was sparkling clean and a great value, however there were minor maintenance issues like a ripped shower curtain and a smelly washer. I booked through booking and somehow they needed to go through Vacasa to secure the rental property. What a nightmare. Their website doesn't work through a desktop. So I downloaded the app on my phone and I still couldn't get the rental agreement it read that I MUST sign. Was unable to do it. I called them and the rep said she doesn't know why I couldn't get it on line but she would sign it for me!!! Be aware, I have no idea what she is signing for because I couldn't get it to read. Or even if she did it and did it secure my reservation? I will never, ever deal with Vacasa or anyone they deal with. Also. This property was infested with Bee hive and all kinds of insects inside and crawling on walls with no amenities as advertised. Worst site to find a rental. I called three times and they never fixed the issue. Seal Beach unit 5 in Ocean city was NOT worth the money. The Worst Ever! Stay far away from Vacasa!! Every single inch of this house is beat! It is disgusting! The rental we stayed at is called "Silverheels Splendor" in Silverthorne Colorado. The photos that are posted on the Vacasa website must be several years old. Please look at the REAL photos to see for yourself. You be the judge. Would you stay here? I did a review on their website and they only put up my name and 1 star. The review is missing. Hmm, wonder why? I find it impossible that anyone would rate this house any better. It is repulsive! They have not yet contacted me by phone/text or email to even apologize. The wood floors and carpet are absolutely gross. Huge sign "take off your shoes" as I step on a tack strip. There are carpet stains throughout the house and it smells awful. Hot tub didn't work, but I would not have stepped a toe into it even if it was working. A tile from the bathroom is just laying on the floor behind the bathroom door. Outlet plug cover is missing in the kitchen. The back of the front door and garage door leading into the garage has huge scratches all over them. Filthy windows. Kitchen counter has stains on it. I also love how someone watered down the hand soap (Mrs Meyers) that is on the counter. Black duct tape wrapped around electrical cords (fire hazard no doubt) Main floor bedroom comforter has a huge tear in it and the stuffing inside is falling out. The grates on the gas grill were dirty and the wood piece behind it was burned. This was our first time renting from Vacasa and it will be our last. Arrived in OCMD on 8/9/2025 for our weekly stay. 3:30 pm (half hour prior to check in) my brother in law gets a phone call from Vacasa saying they have to cancel our stay due to a leak in the condo. They also say there is no other availability in any of there other rentals. "You are on your own to find something else." Never ever would we book with them again. I vacation quite a few times a year and this experience was extraordinarily awful. The condo was filthy. There were ants on the countertops. The deck look like it hadn't been cleaned since last spring. There were ring marks from coffee cups etc all over the tables, smears and smudges all over the glass, coffee table and side table. RENTERS BEWARE when using VACASA! We rented Vasquez Run B201 in Winter Park, CO. There is a lot of misleading information on this rental and Vacasa did nothing to rectify the issues. Upon arrival, we notified Vacasa immediately of discrepancies with the rental; the Vacasa rep APOLOGIZED for it being misleading. We were told the local management would come by and handle it - THE LOCAL MANAGEMENT NEVER SHOWED nor did Vacasa ever reach out with a resolution. We rented this place due to the fact it had FIVE (5) separate beds, which was stated on the ad - in fact, it is still showing 5 beds on their virtual tour. Vacasa changed the written portion of the ad as soon as we contacted them, but we still have a screen shot from their site as to the number of beds in the unit. One bed was changed to a small futon - we had counted on the original bed for a grown up to sleep on. So we paid for 5 beds, and got 4 - the grownup elected to sleep on the sofa as it was more comfortable and bigger than the small futon. We received an email stating we would have usage of parking in the garage - this would alleviate the need to go up stairs to the third floor to store ski equipment - 5 adult sets in total. Vacasa said that wasn't part of the rental, however the email FROM Vacasa stated it was available for our use. It's hard to dispute what's in writing, but they did! We have contacted Vacasa for partial reimbursement, however they have yet to respond. Since all 5 adults had traveled from various parts of the US via airlines, it would have been expensive and near impossible to change the condo/dates upon arrival. To add to this, it was Spring break. I have waited over 3 weeks for the call back I was assured I would receive and I have yet to hear a word from Vacasa - BEWARE of their ads, and their customer service is non-existent. read more

At our 4:00 check in none of the rooms had been cleaned. Cleaning crew showed up after check in and rushed though the house. Kitchen had dirty dishes, ants running all over the counter, vents have a thick layer of dust, and the garage never gets cleaned. The deck has boards rotted out. The worst part was the air conditioner not working. We could tell it wasn't working within an hour of being there due to the thermostat getting over 80 degrees with the fan never turning on. We contacted Vacasa customer support multiple times, but all they kept saying was sorry and they apologized for the inconvenience. But they refused to call a HVAC company that could easily fix the air conditioning. There are at least 7 different HVAC companies available 24/7. The first person we spoke to even lied to us by saying no one was available that evening, but they scheduled a technician for the next morning. The house got so hot it was difficult to sleep in and breathe. The next morning no one showed to make repairs, and we had to contact Vacasa again. Vacasa refused to connect us with a local representative, or a air conditioning repair company. Nothing was even attempted to take care of this issue or accommodate us until we found one of Vacasa local offices and demanded someone address the issue. The manager and employees even talked about how bad the company is with customer service, communication, and cleaning. A few days before our reservation, we contacted Vacasa to confirm that the property was still available, as Hurricane Milton had recently passed through the area. Vacasa assured us everything was fine, responding: "We hope you are having a great day. We apologize for any frustration or delay in responding. Our local team is working to ensure the property is available and any damage has been addressed. Your reservation remains active, and we will notify you if there are any changes before your arrival. If you haven't been contacted by us, your reservation is good to go. The property looked great, and we unpacked, enjoying the beach and pool while waiting for the rest of our group to arrive. By 6:30 pm, as we prepared for our 7:00 pm dinner reservation, a car pulled into the driveway. The pair inside asked if we could confirm if this was their rental address. To our surprise, they had a reservation for the same house, on the same dates. They had booked just three weeks earlier, while we had reserved back in March. Concerned, the couple called the property owners, who informed them they were on their way to resolve the situation. At this point, we assumed we were in the clear, given our earlier booking. Unfortunately, we were wrong. When the owners arrived, they informed us that they had terminated their contract with Vacasa months ago and that all bookings should have been transferred to other properties. They told us we needed to vacate the home immediately, as their guests were due to check in. We had paid over $4,000 for our stay, from Thursday to Sunday, and this explanation made no sense to us. We called Vacasa, who said they would "look into it" and call us back. Meanwhile, the owners, who were rude and unapologetic, parked in the driveway next door, preparing to flip the property for their guests. With four small children under seven and a family memorial weekend at stake, we asked them to provide proof of ownership or a contract termination with Vacasa. They scoffed at our request, leaving us feeling like we were victims of a scam. Four of our family members went ahead to try and hold our dinner reservation, while the rest of us stayed behind, frantically calling Vacasa for answers. Vacasa finally admitted that the owners no longer had a contract with them and promised to refund our payment within three days. They also sent us a list of alternative properties, but we chose not to book with Vacasa again. To add insult to injury, the day after we were forced to relocate, I searched for the property on Vacasa's website--and found it listed as a "new listing." After researching, it appears this behavior is typical of Vacasa, and we are considering legal action. They may be liable for misleading us about the property's availability and for knowingly failing to terminate their contractual relationship with the homeowner in a timely manner. read more

VACASA RENTAL HAD LIVE ROACHES RUNNING AROUND: My family rented a "villa" in Eureka Springs AR. Very late and on our last night there, we found live roaches (I have video and pictures). It was almost midnight. Because of my schedule for Sunday (our check-out morning), I notified Vacasa on our day of check-out to let them know the situation. And they charge $25 (not including shipping) to find or not find anything if you leave it behind. Shipping is more than acceptable, but I've never worked with a service who would charge to help find/not find an item. This will definitely be my last Vacasa stay. Vacasa is rotten. We had a terrible experience with our stay at Sandy Bottom Circle in Rehoboth in a place "managed" by vacasa. From the beginning, it was a difficult time. We had to wait over 30 minutes to get into the front gate because the person on staff at vacasa did not have the information I needed to enter the property. Nobody could tell me why the local contact did not have the entrance code available. That should have been available for the local contact as well as the central contact at your company. That was only the first inconvenience. After that, I realized when I came in that I was unable to adjust the thermostat. I attempted to turn the heat up as seen on the attached images, and I thought I would give it some time overnight to see if it would work. Unfortunately, it did not end in the middle of the night and into the early morning it was 61 degrees. This temperature is not acceptable in general. Even if it were 67 or 68 it would have felt better. I have a 17 month old baby and it is not acceptable to stay in a place that is this cold with a dirty air filter. When I called in the morning I waited on hold while someone tried to find information to help me figure out how to fix the thermostat. I was informed that I could wait for a technician to come out. I was only staying in Rehoboth 3 days And given such a short trip, and the cold in this place, it did not make sense for me to say here, and wait for a tech to be sent out at their convenience. We had to leave for a hotel and I was informed in a phone call at 2 pm that No one came out until 1 or so to look at the Hvac. To top it all off, the cleanliness was not what we expected either. At first, it seemed fine, and then when I removed a cushion on a chair to sit down I found a used straw and some kind of a twig. The enclosed back porch was not well swept out either. Vacasa failed to meet expectations in terms of check-in, habitability with regard to the temperature, and cleanliness. The location of the home was great, within a nice community and a short drive to the beach. The layout and decoration of the home was beautiful. They also had a garage filled with fun stuff to enjoy - bikes, skateboards, beach toys, beach chairs, etc. However if feels like the house hasn't been given proper attention in quite some time. There were many scuffs and spill stains on walls in nearly every room. Vents, fans, windowsills etc were covered in dust and dead bugs. Bedding was stained. Any piece of furniture you look behind you found a mix of dust, bugs, hair, and garbage (chip bags, napkins). We also shared the house with an army of flies the entire week. When we checked into the house for our weeklong stay it seemed it wasn't cleaned at all - floors were dusty and sticky, countertops were sticky, balls of hair were on the floors/dressers/bathroom sinks, the kitchen sink was full of crumbs. Bed sheets had stains and hair in them. It was then a 2 day battle with hours of phone calls to Vacasa to get a minimal cleaning. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service and respect. While at the rental office we heard several other customers with similar complaints. I would not recommend Vacasa to anyone and I will not be booking with them again. Photos show the state of the house when we arrive and the text conversation I had with one of the managers following a phone call we had - the short text was the only response I received from her. More details on the cleaning and customer service: We called right when we checked in at 6:30 pm. Vacasa promised someone would come clean as soon as possible. We never heard updates and anytime you call their line the agent says they need to check with the "local team" and get back to you. We received very few of these promised call backs. It was getting late and no cleaner showed up still; our 3 year old was sleeping in the car since there was no clean beds. At 10:30 pm after another call and waiting on hold, it was decided we would just be given clean sheets for the night and someone would be back at 10 am. The sheets that were delivered were wet inside their plastic bags (when I talked to Vacasa they told me "perhaps you could put them in the dryer") and still covered in hair. So at 11 pm on our first night of vacation, after waiting hours for answers from Vacasa, we had to dry our own sheets and remake our own beds with sheets that still weren't clean. This is not the experience we want when we pay for a vacation. The next morning, no one showed up again. We spent hours more calling Vacasa, typically spending 30 minutes on hold for an agent to come on the line, say a few words, and the call to disconnect. This happed too many times for it to be a mere accident. Each time we were promised a call back if we disconnected and we never got the call back. Nor did we get call backs for updates as promised. When we requested to speak to the local team ourselves or be connected with a manager, these requests were denied. We had an elderly dog in the house and I didn't want him home alone when the cleaner showed up. Twice I requested a call before anyone entered our home, and again this promise was not kept. I saw on our dog camera a woman in the house around 2 pm on the second day and that was my only warning that she was coming or had entered our house. It appeared she swept and mopped the kitchen, vacuumed some of the rugs, and removed the obvious hair balls. The house was still a far cry from being called clean. I spoke with two managers during this process who offered compensation. In the end they gave us $250 back, an amount I find considerably insufficient based on our experience the first two days of vacation. At minimum I wanted the full cleaning fee back and the rent we paid for the first night, which was wasted waiting for Vacasa's unanswered promises (around $350). I repeatedly asked for an itemized invoice so I could verify the original cleaning fee, but after speaking with many agents and asking the manage many times, they never could give me an answer. The last communication I had with Vacasa was through text with an agent who again couldn't tell my the original cleaning fee and said they were elevating our file and someone would get back to us. Booked through them 6 times. Two were horrible! Service answers but doesn't respond. What a mess. First home was so unkept. The last one was loaded with ants, short pans in the kitchen, rugs were so dirty and spotted, I could have dealt with it being dated but not getting g help when the ants came. And waiting g a whole day for someone to help. We wasted a day. We could have booked a hotel!!! And no water filter in the fridge! Someone need to thoroughly go through the houses prior to rental. Be very wary of this outfit. They'll screw up your reservation, put you in a unit with a lower rate than the one you had reserved, and with the help of AirBnB, charge you extra and give you a protracted runaround. Watch out even more for AirBnB. They'll charge you an extra 10% over the higher rate, and when you want a refund for the difference, tell you "Oh, no. Gee whizz. We don't do that.". read more

Many cleaning issues with unit 8406 Raquet Lane. 1 roll of stained toilet paper and 1/2 hand soap for 5 people for a week. No trash bags. Had to buy cleaning supplies for the week. Carpet and bathroom rugs soiled and stained. Toilet seat loose. Screen door stucked and patched. Bathroom door dragging against floor. Shower caddy rusted. Vacasa team only addressed stained carpet. Responded " They can't clean the carpet while we're in the unit" Never addressed the other issues or any compensation for our inconvenience. Poor customer service. WORST EXPERIENCE WITH A RENTAL. Bed imploded the first night, causing wife and I both physical pain. We were given air beds without a working pump. So 2 nights on the floor did great things for the injuries. Please buyer beware!!!!!! read more

We rented a FILTHY condo, 1209 Atlantic Ave, unit 302, Ocean City, MD. Trash in the corners, old swabs on the floor, dirt everywhere, gritty sheets. Don't believe a single Vacasa review! They asked for feedback, so I sent photos, etc. They did not post my review for the property! I guess that explains how that dump had four stars! read more

My below review for 22 Short Rd. in Bethany Beach Delaware for September 2024, I copied and paste it from Airbnb. It seems it did not make it onto the Airbnb website. It seems they pick and choose which reviews make it onto Airbnb so please beware! Absolutely horrible. Outdated interior in absolutely every room. White slipcovers in living room stained and one of those slipcovers was ripped. A rip in the bedroom lampshade. Old dirty clutter in cabinets/closets as if whoever lived there before, attempted to unsuccessfully age in place, couldn't keep up with the maintenance/cleaning and was sent to a nursing home never to be heard from again. Porous surfaces, Grime in the kitchen and on all appliances. When we arrived, I had to scrub the sink and the very old kitchen faucet and dust/remove the cobwebs and debris in the curtainless (if that's a word ) window above it that had unfinished water stained wood trim. I do believe that the cleaning crew does the absolute jokingly minimal, which is tantamount to spitting on the floor, rubbing it in with their shoe, turning around and leaving. The pictures displayed do not tell the full story at all. The only good thing I can say is that they had beach chairs in the shed for us to use on the beach and great restaurants nearby. I may not be Alice from the Brady Bunch, but we don't do dirt!! Um...also Vacasa Delaware, please don't bother replying with. "We're sorry for your experience, but we strive to do better etc. etc."This is just gross neglect, shame on you for treating guests in this way. On top of that, Vacasa Delaware replied with "you will not be receiving compensation"!and I had to counter with. "I never asked for compensation" as if I was money seeking and they were setting this up to be a situation that was a money grab for their long overdue negligence. Yes, they did offer to fix the problem, but there was no way to "fix" multiple problems of negligence that had been years in the making short of a complete tear down. Again, beware, you have been warned. I'm only giving it one star because I have to, and the restaurants that were close by were excellent. read more

Vacasa is not helpful. We rented a property through booking.com and then was informed vacasa manages it. Our rental had not be cleaned and was filled with trash. I was on calls with vacasa for hours, sent pictures and they did nothing. We had 3 adults 4 kids and it pitch dark, snowing and we were in a very remote area. We had no choice but to stay there. The 3 adults cleaned the house so we could have a warm safe secure place for our families to stay. We called boooking.com and they struggled with vacasa as well. My vacation is ruined because we are dealing with this situation. We met a bunch of women who did a girls trip and they had the exact same issue with vacasa.
