This was a great solution to planning a complicated family vacation to Europe to see a couple great cities, then attend a wedding at an old fort. Jonathan is a busy man with many clients, but made time to figure out various good activities for us, including the kids. I would plan way ahead of time to make sure this company can give you all the options you need and plan for contingencies also. Be warned that if you haven't traveled internationally for a while (such as before the pandemic) then you are in for a shock on how much prices have risen and how inflexible the airline schedules are. Be ready to adapt and look at it all as an adventure. Jonathan works remotely so you need to be good with planning on the phone and via email. It is a good service and I recommend it highly. If I could give them 0 stars... I would. I was so excited when I first reached out. Jonathan seemed super knowledgeable and excited to help us with our European honeymoon, and I was glad the first travel agent I reached out to seemed great. Then... Jonathan ghosted us multiple times over 2 months. There were constant family emergencies that I tried to be understanding of, but after 5 of them it just seemed like he was unwilling to help us - almost like he was trying to get us to not want to work with him. When I would follow up, he always said he had asked other members of the team to reach out to us while he was away for his family, and they just never did. Jonathan always apologized and said he'd make it up to us. This happened time and time again, and we still consistently told him we're still willing to work with him - only to get ghosted for the last time a few weeks ago. He stopped replying to me completely. I have never seen a single draft of an itinerary. The ghosting is so unprofessional. If he didn't want to work with us, he should have just said so instead of trying to turn us off like that. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Attached are a few different-dated screenshots. Our family vacation to Spain and Portugal was excellent. We really enjoyed our walking tour in Toledo, Spain and the day tour in Sintra, Portugal. Pena Palace is a must-see, and we are happy we added that to our itinerary last minute. Overall awesome experience! Jonathan made all the transportation connections to and from airports, hotels and tours smooth and convenient! Definitely appreciate the time he took to answer our questions and provide guidance on international travel for a family of four. If I had one recommendation, however, it would be to keep the vacation itinerary app updated EARLY and make sure it is COMPLETE five days before international trip. I came across Jonathan through a FB group for Xcaret Mexico. Jonathan was fantastic and trustworthy throughout the booking process of our trip. Not only did he save us $1K on the trip than booking direct but went the extra mile to put me in touch with the right people at Xcaret to assist in booking excursions and extras. Without his connections it may have been difficult to get through to the right people as Xcaret (while wonderful) doesn't always have the more responsive customer service. Wow! Where to start? I originally contacted a membership store to use their travel department for a trip to Bora Bora! I was calling in October of 2019 and was told that nothing was available until February of 2020! I then checked Yelp and came up with two numbers. Jonathan is just as wonderful as everyone says! I was mad that I had found out last minute that I had 5 days off for the 4th of July holiday because I really wanted to take advantage of the opportunity and go away. I would reccommend that you contact Jonathan at Vacation Planning Co. to "save yourself a trip". He tries very hard to be available 24/7 by email or phone, and he responds asap. I booked an LA fight to Los Cabos Mexico, but later could not find my passport. Jonathan knew that we could cruise by ship from LA and no passport would be required, so that's what we did. At the airport, the airline announced that our flight had been delayed, and our plane was still in LA for maintenance. I called the cruise line, and they advised us to cancel the flight because we would "miss the boat". Then I called Jonathan. While we were still on the phone, he determined that the plane had been fixed and was already in flight to Vegas. Even the airline attendants were not aware!
