Upon arrival, we were greeted and checked-in by the staff at the front desk, who seemed friendly enough. Since we arrived quite early, we had a little wait before being called back to be seen. We are pleased by the overall quality of care that our daughter received here. The medical assistant and nurse practitioner who saw our little one were friendly and excellent with our daughter. The nurse practitioner was knowledgable on the various illnesses currently going around and prescribed the appropriate medication for her. Overall, we are thankful that there are walk-in care options when primary care physicians do not have any availability for that given week. However, walk in care unfortunately does not see all types of patient complaints. If you have a sick child, this is definitely a viable option though.

I wouldn't recommend coming here with a pretoddler. The staff were all very friendly from frontdesk…read moreto nursing. I brought my 2 year old here and I could tell that the provider doesn't typically see little ones from the way they did their exam. I guess ultimately I got what I wanted and the wait wasn't long due to only a few people waiting. I'm just saddened by how poor our medical system is from my regular clinic not having access to take us and how urgent centers typically use midlevels to provide care. I think Northbay urgent care might be better but more busy.

My first Kaiser Urgent Care experience…read more What I thought was allergies escalated to fever and cough with mild chest pain. I needed stronger meds and medical advice. I arrived at 5:45 pm and was told by the receptionist that I would be seen at about 9:20 pm. I will get a text when they are ready to see me and I have 15 min to check in to keep my spot. I was planning to go home and come back because I wasn't going to wait in the waiting room for 3+ hours with a room full of sick patient. As soon as I left the parking lot, I got a text and turn back around. I was seen by the PA and got an x-ray by 6:25 pm. At 6:55 pm, I heard receptionist turning walk-ins away, even though they closed at 11 pm. Apparently, you can make appt for Urgent Care. Good to know! At 7:40 pm, I started to question myself if I was supposed to wait there. I went to ask the nurse to make sure they know I'm still waiting. After 10 minutes, a nurse (not the PA) came out with paperwork that has a list of prescriptions/medications. Most importantly, my lungs are cleared. No sign of pneumonia. I waited almost two hours for that. Good thing is that there is a 24 hours pharmacy inside of the ER in the next building. I was able to get my prescription and finally go home and rest.

Staff and doctors are friendly. Only annoying thing is the wait time, you have to atleast wait…read more2-3hrs or so to see a doctor.

There is usually a small wait at the A-24 Lab due to the number of patients, but the process moves…read moreby smooth and quick for the most part. They open at 7:30 a.m. so if you're an early bird I'd advise to get there way early before they open. I got there 10 minutes prior to opening there were already at least 20 people waiting. The line will move fast, but just something to know. I was there to get a routine blood draw and it only took around five minutes when I went back to the draw station. I warned the nurse drawing my blood that I have small veins but after a couple minutes she was able to find it and get what was needed. She was very patient and used 100% care taking my blood which I appreciate. I've been a Kaiser member for almost 10 years and always experience quality care from the staff.

My dad seems to be dying and we are stunned with the protocols of the hospital and maybe healthcare…read morein general. If my dad is in restoration care he can have hydration and nutrition ivs. But if he is in pain and needs meds for comfort and doesn't want to be poked and prodded so he could die in peace if that's where the is going and chooses comfort care then they refuse basic human needs. No hydration or nutrition. Or oxygen. They refuse basic human needs. They call it comfort care. I asked the on call doctor why we can't address the issue with a solution of hydration and nutrition it's not comfortable to die of dehydration or starvation. She had no rebuttal other than to repeat the protocol. Comfort care is pain meds while they deprive you of basic human needs. That's it. I said well may you manage your dehydration the same way with the same results. She then said she is going to call security and have me whisked away. I asked why and it took her a few seconds to come up with I was harassing her. I asked how was that? If she believes what she is doing is right then she will be well taken care of with her idea of comfort care. She simply gets the same solution she is assigning to my dad. She believes it's a solid solution so why not for her also? She said again I'm harassing her and I said that's a lie I'm just standing here calmly having a conversation with you. She told the nurse not to talk to me and wait for my sister and continued to refuse basic human needs to my dad. I immediately reported her to member services she is abusing her power trying to call security on someone who strongly opposes her methods for treatment We are shocked at this inhumane protocol. We all reap what we sow that's a fact but it's beyond tragic that this is legal to deprive basic human needs for any reason. God help us
