If your immigration matter needs attention to detail or timely filing, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I retained Vachhani Law PC in December 2025 for my marriage-based green card (I-485) filing and paid a retainer in full upfront. After serious failures in case handling, I terminated the representation and the firm processed a refund. I am posting this review because the refund resolves the financial issue but does not address the underlying conduct, which other prospective clients should know about. The filing was delayed by 56 days. My documents were received by the office on February 9, 2026. The application was not mailed to USCIS until April 6, 2026, 56 days later, with no proactive communication during that period. I was told in writing that the application had been filed when it had not. On February 23, the legal secretary sent an email that implied the application had already been submitted to USCIS. It had not. The firm did not correct this impression for six weeks. When I raised the delay in April, Sungina stated in writing that the application had been filed on March 12, 2026 and received by USCIS on March 16, 2026. The USPS mailing label uploaded to my USCIS case file as part of the official filing record, shows the package was actually mailed on April 6, 2026, the same day she made that statement. The application was not filed in March. It was filed on April 6, and I was told otherwise in writing. The application was rejected because of the firm's preparation error. The entire package, I-485, I-130, I-765, and I-131, was rejected by USCIS in April 2026 due to a missing date of birth on the I-130. I compared the form I submitted on January 30 with the version the firm filed. My version had the date of birth filled in. The version they filed had it blank. The information was provided. It was lost during the firm's preparation of the final packet, which was then signed and certified by the attorney. When confronted with the rejection, the firm attributed the error elsewhere. When I presented documentary evidence showing the date of birth was on my submitted version and absent from the filed version, the response was: "Both you and I looked over the application, so I'm thinking this is an immigration error." The error was not on USCIS's end. The error was in the form the firm prepared and filed. My ability to travel internationally is restricted, and the entire timeline has been set back by months, all directly traceable to the delays, the rejection, and the misrepresentations documented above. Mistakes happen in any practice. What distinguishes a trustworthy attorney is how they respond when things go wrong. The response here was misrepresentation and deflection. read more

Called them 4 to 5 times today to discuss a new case. They haven't answered one phone call. The phone just keeps ringing. Update: Posted above review at 3:26 pm. Received a response from the owner at 3:30 via yelp stating it's mentioned on page that they close early on Fridays. Anyways, it shows on the page that it's opened until 5 pm until now unless they change after this update. Moreover I have been calling since 11:30 am. Had made 4 to 5 calls since then. No answer. No receptionist. No answering machine or answering service. Also keep in mind that there are other reviews who had similar problems. Second update: They changed the hours now to 12:30 pm on Friday. lol I should have taken the screenshot. Anyways, have another screenshot from google business which I am uploading to their pictures showing that the business is opened until 5:00 pm. This review is way overdue but since I'm going back to court regarding the same child custody case, I decided to finally write a review and warn other desperate parents seeking family law representation from Gina. When I hired her, I was desperate & inexperienced and the whole thing was a nightmare. I'll be brief, Gina showed up to court late, once she finally showed up, she asked me if I had seen my ex' response, I said "no, I was unaware, how would I have seen it?" Then I realized her office never sent it to me, so she hands me her copy about 5 minutes before I see the judge while she was running around filing paperwork at the last minute. I was totally unprepared to face the judge so the judge tore me a new one and Gina just sat there, looking down, taking notes. She never called me to prepare me or discuss the court proceedings, I had no idea what to expect that day in court. When I left court, I was in complete shock. I didn't mention anything or want to write a bad review but to this date, I'm still dealing with the mess from 5 years ago. I'm honestly surprised that Gina's license hasn't been revoked. read more

After much research, I came to Sungina from a different legal counsellor, she was instrumental in getting/winning a fair settlement in my divorce case. My case proved more difficult than initially imagined, with opposing side dropping counsellors but she handled it very efficiently and kept the course on track with minimizing delays. Based on first hand experience she proved very competent and confident in court room trial, with administrative staff and the judge. In parallel, Sungina also did my and my spouse's immigration/visa case - that was completely separate from the ongoing divorce case.
