There is not one bad thing to say about his place. The people, food, staff, and owners are AMAZING! Te home like vibe when you're there is unmatched. The carefully crafted pizzas from scratch will blow you away. And if your worries about not knowing anything about beer or wine the staff is beyond knowledgeable and will NEVER make you feel dumb for not being a beer and wine snob . This place serves the best pizza I have ever eaten and I have eaten a lot of pizzas because I am sort of on the senior side. I have tried several of their pizzas and each time thought the one I just finished was the best I had ever had. The wait staff has always been efficient and professional. The menu is rather small, and the food is expensive, but pretty good. The last time my husband and I had dinner there we both ordered a different type of pizza. Mine came with a small amount of toppings and sauce in the center yet his was nice and full, brimming with topping all the way to the edge. I felt a bit cheated. My boyfriend and I went here a few weeks ago. I love their vibe as well as the food. I think the wine is a little pricy but I don't know much about wine except that I like to drink it occasionally, ha. Anyways, the service was good and although I didn't try their deserts, they look amazing! I will definitely be going back soon and might try to save room for desert. Vagabond is super fantastic. We always keep track of them on their Facebook page. All the pizzas we have tried use super fresh ingredients. Very creative toppings.The crust is always super crisp and tasty. Well worth keeping track of where they are and paying them a visit. read more

Such a disappointment! Had visited before opening with the owner and were so excited to finally go. Watched us stand outside while they got water glasses for themselves and walked around ignoring us until the time to open had passed. When I said we were glad they finally opened we were cheerfully chastised for being unhappy to wait in the heat. No wine by the glass except for "special" ones and for heaven's sake don't ask them to change a pizza, they can't because of the oven.(We only asked for no tomatoe sauce on half). On Facebook they said they needed to work out some kinks. I'll wait awhile to return. Love this place! Come here once a week and I wanted to write a review only because this is an amazing place. The staff members are friendly, personable and efficient. They remember my name and my husbands name and our favorite table. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thought and care was placed into each recipe. The menus change weekly. My favorite restaurant in Abilene mostly because of the welcoming staff. The food and wine are also exceptional.

I called to make a reservation said it was first come first serve. I said ok no problem. We show up to do a party of 16 and was told they only do 10 or less. 3 were one and under and then 4 under 7 and one teenager. I said we would be ordering around 4 pizzas max. They told me they could not serve us!?! Said the kitchen couldn't handle it. I managed a restraunt in high school and would do 20 plus high school teams in a mom and pop place plus regular customers. Never send away business. You will never get a dime from me or anyone I know again. read more

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Abilene. Not only do they have delicious pizza and appetizers but their service and beer and wine selection is unbeatable. Every time I come into this restaurant I am exposed to a new beer that I hadn't known of before that blows my mind and is always served by a friendly bar tender, manager, or owner. Tonight, the owner, Jason, offered me their latest dessert on the house which was a delicious chocolate chip blondie with peanut butter cream and garnished with a crisp dark chocolate sheet. Had a wonderful dinner! Had the bread and butter, Bianca pizza and the Vagabond salad. The bread and butter is homemade in house and is so good we ordered two more orders. The bianca pizza was really good and the dough is so good. I cannot rave enough on the vagabond salad!! The dressing and mozzarella were amazing!! Wine list was great and the Citrus IPA was really good! Our waitress was really friendly and knew the wine and beer list very well! If you have not been it is well worth the wait to go!! read more

Probably my favorite pizza place! Real brick oven pizza cooked next to coals created with real wood! Fun to watch them cook the pizza, and more fun eating them! Awesome beer selections that change every now and then. They have hard to find beers, and local craft beer from Pappy Slocumb's! The salads are awesome, and I'm not a salad person, but the high quality of the produce is very noticeable and delicious. Needless to say, the pizza has fantastic toppings and the cheese, oh my gosh the cheese! It is amazeballs! They have several wines to choose from and they even have gourmet goodness levels of tasty and delicious desserts to pig out on. What a great place and delicious pizza! We came by while visiting family in Abilene. First time back after a couple years. This place is awesome. Great vibe. Jessica was a wonderful host. It was great to experience such hospitality visiting from Denver, where such hospitality is lacking. This wasn't your run of the mill southern charm. Engaging and accommodating. She brought out the most delicious bread that I've had in years. I could live off that bread. My gf had a yummy coffee stout and a delicious Porter. The tea and coffee we're solid. We both ordered the Vagabond salad. I don't know where they get their ingredients but the all the ingredients we're fresh. The toppings complemented the bitter taste of the greens. We split a margarita pizza. It was delicious. They have this style of pizza in Denver, but this was done with pride. Fresh ingredients. Wish everywhere I went cared about what they do like they do. The best crust we've ever had! We ordered the Margherita and the Sofia. These are both outstanding pizzas, but my favorite was the Sofia. I was shocked at how well I enjoyed it. The crust was cooked perfectly and tasted excellent. We will definitely come back next time we're in Abilene. Jason's pizzas are some of the best I've had. Tonight I had a roasted chicken with an incredible lemon basic sauce. WOW! it was incredible. The prices are very affordable and I find that typically my wife and I can share a pizza if we're having a light dinner. Food was good but after how rude the lady was (not sure if she was an owner or not) to my children and my family, who were sitting at the table. Actually, coming up to our table and accusing our children of making a mess in the bathroom and then keeping on and on about it. When only one child had ever entered the restroom and he specifically told her he did not make a mess. The Place was full of other kids we just happened to be last ones in there because we were finishing our bottle of wine that was part of our $150 tab. I have never been treated like that anywhere and will NEVER be back. We eat regularly with the children at Abiahaus, Perini's, Copper Creek etc. I have no words for how unprofessional and ridiculous that was.
