Great staff and food. A little pricey but worth it. This is gourmet not fast food or typical chain pizza. It was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for this small town. We arrived about 5 on Friday night and were done in about 45 min. Very few customers when we entered and full of customers when we left. Highly recommended and hope to visit again soon. read more

Very disappointed!! We saw the awesome reviews and thought we would give it a try. First, the seating is horrible if you only have 2 in your party. You pretty much sit with someone else and are forced to listen to their conversations. Very unimpressed with their tiny menu that consisted of the exact same 8 pizza. Let me start by saying I am a gluten free vegetarian and the only thing I could eat was a tiny salad with arugula , cheese , nuts & dressing . So the options weren't very GF or vegetarian friendly .. however the atmosphere is beautiful. read more

The ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. Decor is fun and funky. What I found interesting is it is trying to be a "high end" pizza place and the staff is somewhat unpleasant to deal with It is still just a pizza place! Like why not have fun with it rather than strive to be the stuffed shirt of pizza places. The bread is really good! The pizzas are okay. Some are much better than others. Also I called to see if they would be closing early & the gentleman that answered assured me they were closing at regular business hours. I will start with the atmosphere. This place has a great feel. I love the exposed rafters, stuco-brick wall. Server. My server was kilee she was super friendly and really seemed to enjoy being at work. Beer list. So I wish they had a few more options but they have enough and rotate them often enough. My husband and I had an early lunch there on a Saturday. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. We had the meatball appetizer and truly enjoyed them. We won't be back unfortunately. Don't get me wrong the pizza is great, the atmosphere is fantastic. We have been here multiple times and recommended this place to multiple people. We drive in from out of town to meet our daughter for her birthday dinner who attends HSU, we were told that but it was against health code which it is NOT to bring a cake in, the own also told us we shouldn't offend her pastry chef. We weren't even allowed to bring the cake in to set in somewhere in while we dined. The owners embrace you like family when you visit and your always sure to get a great big smile and "Hi y'all!" from Jess. The staff are knowledgeable and courteous. The ambiance and selection of great wines along with the killer craft beer selection only adds to the amazingness that is their pizza! However I have had pizza all over the world, Italy, Germany, Greece, and of course all over the USA ( thanks to Uncle Sam). Vagabond pizza is the best pizza I have had that compares to any place I have visited, that includes the home of pizza, Lombardi's in Manhattan NYC.
