Her clinic and staff for Botox clinic felt like a for-profit setting instead of focusing on the best interests of patients: she makes appointments every twenty minutes (like sardines) and if you're 10 minutes late your appointment can be canceled - no regard for your symptoms or the impact on your disease and morbidity. I found the patient experience, professionalism and care for patients expressed through this physician significantly beneath my expectations. I would not return to see his physician and would not recommend her to individuals suffering from migraine given my experience and how I was treated as a patient.

It was time sensitive for me, so when I called One Medical back to speak with someone about the lab results, unfortunately, he answered. He was dismissive of my personal situation, made me feel stupid for calling & when I tried to create context as to why I was calling rather than waiting for a later appointment, he interrupted me saying curtly "are you going to let me finish my explanation?" like I was to be punished for trying to explain my concern when it genuinely felt he was misunderstanding what I was saying, so I wanted to redirect and provide context. When I later tried to read my HCP's message to him, he interrupted me only a few words in "I know, I saw what she wrote and I don't know why she would write that, I probably just know more about it than she does" (verbatim sadly). He made me feel bad for asking about the plan/next steps/treatment that my own provider had mentioned in her message to me and with a sarcastic tone said, "well you could do this and that, but you'd be pumping it into your body for no reason." Demeaning to the patient, belittling a colleague (my provider) who is a medical doctor, has been wonderful, kind, patient, thorough, attentive - I trust her. Who is he to suddenly know more than all of the context my HCP has without allowing me to provide the context that may help him to see me as a person, rather than just a lab result? Horribly insulting, upsetting and I would highly encourage any patient to not see him. I've seen some really wonderful providers at One Medical with overall a great experience (I've been a patient for 4 years and have seen a few different providers for various reasons). He was a huge exception to the rule at One Medical - he was exactly what a provider should not be. I sincerely hope that he has the chance to read this someday, because he really needs to rethink how he speaks to and interacts with patients if he truly wants to help them.
