I am now on my third corrective surgery following a routine bunionectomy. The office staff was dishonest about insurance prior authorizations, failed to return phone calls, and did not complete FMLA paperwork resulting in pay lapses from work and all of the additional burdens associated with (bill auto pay, card rejections, calling HR multiple times). But WORST of all- Dr. Delott was aware of the broken hardware in my foot and never followed up. What should have been a routine 8 week recovery has now turned into a 2.5 year ordeal. And the other foot which also had a bunionectomy has recurred and is more painful now then it was prior to surgery. Such a major disappointment given that he came highly recommended.

He had no complaints about the in-office procedure, but everything that followed was tedious. He was told that the follow-ups after the procedure were included with the first visit because it was technically "surgical." As it turns out, only the first one was included. He was mislead, but okay; we paid it. Then, in September, we received a bill for his first follow-up, which was definitely included. We called the office and they said the doctor would look into the matter. After 3 weeks with no callback, we called again. They said the charge had been cleared and not to worry about anything else. Fantastic...until the end of December, when we received a bill in the mail for 2 cents. TWO CENTS! You want my two cents...you got it! We'll find a new podiatrist. Your office really needs work. P.S. It's also very unhelpful that only one person in the office knows how to process bills over the phone. Having to call back multiple times to pay a bill is rather annoying.

They were extremely inconsiderate toward my mother--who is 92 years old and in poor health who arrived on time for her scheduled appointment with the podiatrist, Dr Yu. The staff member, G Yu was very insensitive toward my mom. I tried to explain to G Yu that my mother had an open wound on her back and was in pain; despite having arrived punctually for her scheduled appointment, she was left waiting for over an hour and was the last patient to be seen. I was attempting to kindly intercede on behalf of my mother, who suffers from dementia and cannot speak for herself. G Yu completely disregarded my concerns and in retaliation she told me not to bring my mother back again. G. Yu appears to be the person in charge of the facility--the one who initiated the despicable act of patient abandonment--since the doctor simply complied when she asked him to discharge my mother and hand over her discharge papers. They are clearly in violation of ACA and HIPAA. I would like to remind this family medicine practice that they are not in China. We are in the United States of America, and people here have the right to be treated with respect and fairly. They advertise this website that does not exist: www.advancedmedicalfootcare.org.
