Loved their personal service. I was initially hesitant to write a review since I did have one bad experience with one of the staff there. Nothing big but just a little bit of rudeness over the phone. But since that one incident which happened awhile ago, I've been pleased with the pharmacy and the staff overall have been friendly. I go there because we need a special medicine compounded. Usually I call in advance so they have time to make it for us but we had a situation where we needed it that same day. Megan who answered the phone told me she would make it for me today and called me soon after to tell me it was ready. I really appreciated her service. Valencia pharmacy is a diamond in the rough!! I was having so much trouble finding a pharmacy with my medication in stock month after month. I called them and they had it. I assumed I just got lucky and the next month would be another hunt. NOPE! Every month they communicate to me and have it delivered next day. If there's a problem, they're on it. They are not open on Saturdays or Sundays. They close at 5:30 on weekdays so no evening hours. When you call, you are immediately told to hold most of the time with no hello no nothing. Long hold times with no one ever saying sorry for the wait or acknowledging that you're on hold). They do not have any website! If you are released from hospital anytime from Friday night to Sundaynight with rx to fill, you're out of luck until Monday (IF this pharmacy can even find the hospital's repeated attempts to send rx). Forced to use this pharmacy due to special prescription. This pharmacy used to have Saturday hours at least. The staff at the counter are fine. read more

I give them 5 stars for having most anything that you might need for post op wound care and DME supplies and they're staff is friendly, but they lose points for their pricing. Closer to home, I shop at Burns Pharmacy in Lancaster, CA and for the exact same Covidien brand Telfa pads, Valencia pharmacy charges .70 each vs .35 each at Burns. Same brand, same exact product.. Double the price. We weren't going to make it home before Burns closed for the weekend, so we picked up what we needed. Valencia Pharmacy will never be my first choice when shopping for medical supplies, however. read more

Purchased a Allman Products Half Lumber Roll, Sept. 8, 2022. Product did not work out. Determined I needed a Full Lumbar Roll. The receipt clearly stated RETURNS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 7 DAYS. Returned Sept. 12, 2022 with the receipt and was told "Oh know. The product must be returned in the original packaging." Well, I couldn't have tried it out if I had kept it in the original packaging. I try really hard to offer what business I can as a senior to the small businesses in our area so when we moved here I asked my family about a good, small neighborhood pharmacy we could switch to. They suggested Valencia Pharmacy to switch and set up a new account and fill a scrip for a pain med after my TKR surgery. I had a written script from the specialist that they could of called to check because the Dr's EMR system was down. I was attempting to explain that to the girl at the counter who would not discuss it with me at all. She said we never fill a written script blah blah. which left me speechless as I had called prior to coming in and spoke directly to a pharmacist about it to insure there was no issue. She did not even offer to call my specialist and told me "OK", shrugging when I informed her that I could not do business with them now. I called and spoke to a guy named Gabe that I was transferred to and he was sorry and his staff should of offered to call the Dr. I told him you need a plan B for patients where through no fault of their own need meds and are suffering with extreme post surgical pain. Stay away from this place, patient care is obviously not a high concern on their agenda. They lost the biz hubby and I plus our family accounts due to the rudeness display by this lady. What a horrible rip-off. My daughter, with no experience in these matters, went in to buy an ulnar gutter brace. The salesperson said she didn't know what that was but sold her one that was not correct. I called the next day and spoke to the same salesperson and she lied and said she told my daughter it wasn't the correct one. Then she said she wouldn't accept the return anyway due to the pandemic. The physician told her to go there. We will be informing her not to send any patients there as well. Don't trust these people as they lie and have no idea what they are doing. I only wish I had read the other reviews on this business before I had to deal with them. The other people are right. This place is not a good place to get your prescription done. I haven't had my prescription filled because they still haven't called me back. It's been since yesterday now and they haven't called me about my compound prescription to tell me whether they can do it how much it costs on my insurance. These people have no sense of time and don't seem to care that you're in pain and need your prescription filled. They are not the most friendly people either. If I were a small business like them I would be very concerned about the reviews that people leave for them. You may find yourself going out of business shortly... I am headed to total care pharmacy in canyon country. These people have full reviews of wonderful experiences. IN REGARDS TO PHARMACIST JASON YANG ONLY Friday, September 14, 2018, I called the pharmacy in advance (per their request) for a schedule 2 (opioid or narcotic) I am prescribed monthly. I'd used (Valencia Pharmacy) and Medical Supply on and off for years for this prescription. On exclusively, since my insurance company now insists that I use name brand only. A woman in the pharmacy put me on hold for several minutes, then Jason (the pharmacist) came on. I explained what prescription I needed to be refilled, he put me on hold for 16 minutes! When Jason came back on he said that he saw I was getting different medications from another pharmacy. I said that was correct, that I used to be neighbors with Joel the owner and operator of The Druggist now located in the Industrial Center (excellent customer service and employees!) I explained that Joel was unable to get this medication in question, any longer. Jason then told me that he would not refill my prescription unless I transferred all my prescriptions over to Valencia Pharmacy. I asked why that was necessary because there were no interactions between any of them. He said I just had to. Unhappy with his lack of clarity, I asked to speak to the pharmacy supervisor, he said he was. So, I asked to speak to the store manager or supervisor he said that was him also. So, I asked to speak to the owner, he said that wasn't possible. I explained to Jason that my family and I had a 15-year long friendship with Joel and his employees and that I did not see why nor did I want to transfer these prescriptions. I reminded him that last month I didn't have this problem, he explained that it was a new policy. When I said that I'd like to see this policy myself he said there wasn't was one I could see. I told him I had a serious problem with this transfer because (Valencia Pharmacy) and Medical Supply is considered a boutique pharmacy it can and does charge more. Jason again said that if I wanted it refilled, I would have to transfer over all other prescriptions. He never gave me any explanation as to why this Had to be done. I tried explaining to him that the other two prescriptions, a schedule 4 (controlled drug) and a schedule 6 (not regulated) were brand specific, that The Druggist was happy, willing and able to get for me. Jason again put me on hold, he checked for my favored brands and said that he would 'Allow' me to keep one with The Druggist, but because he could get the other, it had to be transferred. Then said something that made me very angry. He said, "You need to get your blood thinners here as well." I clapped back at him and said 'I don't take blood thinners!' It was only after we hung up that I remembered that I was prescribed blood thinners after a surgery I had in May, but how did he know that? I then resorted to begging, then pleading with him, but Jason would not waver. It had to be all or nothing he said. This prescription is only carried at a select few pharmacies. It also is not a prescription that you can just call other pharmacies as a new patient (due to robberies) and get an answer as to whether they even carry it or not. It was only after he asked something ridiculous like, where I bought my supplements and OTC's, that I knew I'd rather possibly go into a slow painful withdrawal than do business with a tyrant like Jason or even a Dictatorship (Valencia Pharmacy)and Medical Supply for keeping him around. After our 45-minute phone call ended I cried and cried not because I may have to stop taking this medication, but because I allowed this man to humiliate and exert his power over me. Never Again! I don't know what my future will bring me, but I Do Know that I will scream far and wide to alert my future brother and sisters in pain that (Valencia Pharmacy) and Medical Supply IS NOT a welcoming, understanding or considerate place do business. This is why I am putting the tyrant, Jason Yang, on Blast! I really resent that I even had to give Jason a star he is not worthy of. And Valencia Pharmacy, if you're reading this, I certainly hope you consider whether Jason is the kind of pharmacist/employee/supervisor/manager you want to represent your company. I LOVE this pharmacy!! There are never long lines for dropping off or picking up my prescriptions. Both pharmacists are good, but Kim is my favorite. She is SO knowledgeable and always takes the time to answer my questions. (I ask a lot of questions). The other people that work in the pharmacy are always friendly and treat me like a human being, not some random customer they have to service and get rid of as quickly as possible. Important procedure required medication prescribed by Doctor was required. Prescription was authorized and approved by insurance. Waited 1 week for them to inform me that they could not issue medication. I asked why did not they tell me this a week ago and I could have resolved this with insurance etc. They responded, "oops, guess we should have called you. That is our mistake". Furthermore, they lied to my wife about her not giving them the authorization number when prescription was first placed. Now, the important procedure was rescheduled the day before it was supposed to take place. My doctor and I were frustrated. Doctor wanted to call pharmacy but pharmacy said that would not help. Please do not go to this pharmacy. They are not customer friendly and I question there qualification to handle insurance related issues. read more

Well, we really really wanted to stay with this pharmacy because of convenience. However, we called in a Rx and requested it to be ready at 3:00pm. I arrived at 4:00 pm to pick it up and it wasn't ready. Actually, the bottles were filled, but the labels and paperwork was not ready. It took about 15 min to get the paperwork done. Normally, this would not have been a big deal, but on the heels of the poor service last time...and the fact that we asked for a specific time AND picked up an hour later...and it was still not ready... I recently visited this place to obtain a veterinary prescription. First off, it is somewhat difficult to find. It's not visible from the street. Although the address is on Lyons St. it might be easier to access from Peachland. The pharmacy is very old-school- no digital boards telling you when your scrip is ready, no frills, etc. Clean, but cluttered. Staff was friendly enough. Working on cancelling a prescription so we'll see how that goes. Very convenient to All Creatures Animal Hospital and the Santa Clarita Animal Hospital. read more

Valencia medical supply store is wonderful but stay away from the pharmacy. The pharmacist is rude and very unprofessional. I was trying to fill a prescription for light opioid based pain killer for my severe back and nerve pain. Even though I had a legitimate prescription from a local very well known orthopedic surgeon, she refused to fill out my prescription because she thought with her little pea-sized brain that I am shopping for painkillers. I told her that I had to go to multiple pharmacies because none of the pharmacies have the medication and they had to order them for me. She immediately misjudged me thinking I am some kind of a drug addict. She told me to leave the pharmacy and go somewhere else to fill my prescription. She thought I was a drug junkie taking meds for my own pleasure. What an idiot! too bad they don't teach manners in the pharmacy school for racist people like her. Stay away from that place. I won't transfer my family's prescriptions any more. That's for sure. Oh well...they don't need my business..I will also look for another medical supply store. I can't stand that place. read more

I like this pharmacy overall, but there can be some minor improvements. The staff is fairly helpful and friendly. The new building is wide open and feels more relaxing than the other pharmacies in town. It's also nice to have the Wellness Center and medical supply store under the same roof. The pharmacy offers a delivery service that costs $10 for delivery in Santa Clarita that can come in handy in situations where you are unable to pickup your prescription. The particular prescription we get seems to be over priced. About 1.5x the cost compared to a pharmacy in Nor Cal that filled our prescription during vacation. In all fairness, it's great that they are able to carry more natural prescription medications and there may be a cost to that. I was a little annoyed that they didn't publish their holiday hours online and I drove a half hour with the kids to pick up a prescription only to find out that they had closed five minutes before at 5pm on Black Friday. Normal closing time on Fridays is 7pm. I should have called beforehand though to double check their hours. However, I was not the only one thrown off by this. Two other semi-frustrated customers came after me to find the pharmacy closed. It's great that there are signs on the door explaining the holiday hours, but if you don't frequent the pharmacy there is no way you will know about the special hours. Since this is the internet/social media age with almost everyone having a smartphone, it would be particularly helpful for customers if special hours were noted online. Wellness Center prices seem to be a little bit overpriced but it is conveniently located. They do offer a punch card for repeat customers that offers a discount on a purchase after the card is filled. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable for the most part, but we sure miss Kim who was at the old location and was tremendously knowledgable and bent over backwards to help. If you already know what you need and have tried it out and are on a tight budget, I would suggest checking out Swanson's Vitamins and Lucky Vitamins online for best prices on recurring purchases. read more

Quite frankly they should not even have a 1 star rating. Horrible customer service from the lady working in medical supplies. Showed her my insurance card and was rudely told they don't accept it. NEVER suggested or asked do I have medicare even though it was obvious I'm over 65! NO customer service! They mandate you must wear mask inside their establishment, but she wasn't wearing one until she saw me walk up. I will never purchase anything there and will pass this information on to all my senior friends. Don't believe me? Just read some of the other recent reviews on Yelp. I had chosen this pharmacy because it is close to where I live but they are horrible with refills! All last year I had to keep calling my doctor because they would NOT refill my prescription (that was suppose to be a 12 month refills) and multiple times I had to bring in a copy of my prescription refill to prove to them I still had plenty of refills remaining! Today, I went in expecting my refill to be ready and they said my insurance was not going through. My insurance is active and now I have to go to the office to get proof that my insurance is active so I can get my refund. They waste your valuable time! The female receptionists are just rude to my dad when he was picking up a tube feeding. No one extended help to my elderly dad when he was asking if anyone knows about our order. My dad almost walked away and almost ended up with no tube feeds for my mom until I told him to look for Frank who took my order . These ladies don't know that he even exists when he is an employee there working with them!They should improve their customer service! The owner of this pharmacy needs to talk to their employees and in service them with good manners and a friendly and courteous attitude. I will likely not go back to this pharmacy. read more

I gave one star because the store looks very nice. The service is another matter. I said quietly "excuse me" to a young female behind the pharmacy counter. The answer without looking up was a very annoyed "ya". I waited for her to look up when she did she said " I'm busy ". I stood quietly for a few seconds and told her that I was looking for someone to help me with a knee scooter rental. After staring for a minuet she walked away, I called after her asking who I should talk to she yelled out a name and kept walking. Needless to say I asked her name, it's "Brenda". I left, without doing any business and drove to Sherman oaks medical supply on Van Nuys Blvd. I had a great experience rented the scooter for my husband and was back on the road in 15 mins. The young gentleman that helped me was friendly and full of smiles.
