Dresses are in excellent condition and there is a huge selection. Before touching the dresses, we had to wipe our hands with disposable baby wipes so we don't dirty up the dresses. Taylor's carried dresses from quite a few different designers. There was a good mixture of me picking out a few dresses and the associate picking out ones similar to what I liked. I had over 10 dresses to try on and the associate, Mary-Jo was extremely patient and helpful. She even provided tips for the wedding day as she was lacing up the corset back in the fitting room! Prices were on the dresses ($1000-$3000) and they store/steam the dress before you take it home. The service was absolutely phenomenal and of all 15 different boutiques I visited across the GTA, this one was aobsulutely the best. I found my dress here, although I didn't buy it. I needed my mom and sister to see it before I bought it and the location was too far from the GTA. I would definitely recommend Taylor's to any bride.

Honestly, I had been to every other bridal shop in town so after having such a wonderful experience at Taylors I thought maybe I would find my gown out of town and come back and order it here but unfortunately the gown I chose was a Vera Wang and is only available at Davids Bridal. I do still have every intention of coming back to Taylors for all my accessories. This really is a great location with friendly, knowledgeable staff and an AMAZING selection. She knew where my wedding dress needed to be reinforced for best fit and function (something I would have expected the original designer to consider). My 'dress' was a two piece, quite out of the ordinary, and Merike got my vision and worked to have it fit exactly how I wanted it. I went in as a member of a bridal party and had my sizing completed by a sales associate who was totally incompetent. I am a plus sized woman (just barely) and when they took my measurements I was informed that I had to buy additional material to accommodate my size. They asked me if I agreed to purchase the additional material...I agreed, what other option did I have? I wanted the dress to fit. Now I don't have any allusions about my body or formal dress sizing; but I looked at the sizing they had recorded and it seemed really large. I mentioned that to the sales associate but she took offence indicating that they had order my sizing based on my largest measurement. I reluctantly signed an agreement indicating that the sizing was recorded as correct and that any changes required were up to me. They're the 'specialists' after all. BIG MISTAKE! Months later, I received the dress and it literally falls off of me. I'm talking six sizes too big. It doesn't even come close to fitting my largest measurement. WHAT A JOKE. The alterations my dress now requires is going to cost me an arm and leg on top of an already expensive dress. Ballett's is taking NO responsibility for the changes required. I took the dress to have it altered and the tailor burst out laughing and asked me what happened. So glad I took their expert advice and ordered the 'necessary' extra fabric I now have to pay to get removed. Three other members of the bridal party all had the same experience.

This place seems to be a disorganized mess to me, from the moment I walked in I had 3 different people talking at me, shoving random dresses in my face that were nothing like I had described and it was just so overwhelming. All the dresses were stuffed so tightly in the racks it was hard to even tell what they looked like and with so many people involved in my appointment I wasn't even able to have a look for myself. They has so many different appointments going on with all the brides right in the centre of the store it was just intimidating. To top it all off the second gown they put on my I fell head over heels in love with only to discover the cost was $2300 when I told them I wanted to spend $1500 on a dress with my absolute max top dollar being $2000. They wouldn't even allow me to take 1 photo, I can understand these stores don't want you taking a photo of every gown you try on but the following 5 locations I went to try gowns before finding my gown allowed me to take at least 1 or 2 photos of my absolute favourites. The only thing was one of consultants (My main consultant I think) was really nice, she even apologized about the appointment when I told her I would be cutting it short and offered to have me return at a later date, when the other consultant that was really pushy wasn't working. I think the person that threw me off the most may have been the boss or the manager or something. Mind you that's just speculation I suppose but I have to give credit where credit is due and they young lady that helped me was really nice.. In total I went to 6 different Bridal Gown locations and this was my only bad experience. After I visited here I was so put off by the whole experience I waited 3 weeks to make another appointment anywhere else which I'm glad I did.

We waited a very long time because they couldn't find the dress. We saw the staff whispering about it in the back. Eventually one of the staff members brought out the dress and took us to the fitting room. The dress was not in a garment bag. She had tried on the sample at her appointment which was a size 6. She decided to order the 8 so it wouldn't be too tight...you can always take a dress in. When she tried on the dress, it was tight, and I noticed the Tag said size 6. At first we thought they just ordered the wrong size. They told us that the manufacturer had sent the wrong size. When we looked closer at the dress, we noticed makeup stains on the neckline (bride wasn't wearing makeup), dirt on the hemline, and snags and beads missing. This dress was not new. They denied that it was the sample gown, but when we asked to see the sample they said they didn't have it anymore. They already had her deposit. We said we would take the dress as is, but weren't paying any more than the deposit of 50% that she had already put down. They offered to give it to her for 15% off. We left without the dress and had to threaten them with lawyers before they finally offered to negotiate. They never did admit that they were trying to pass off the sample as a brand new dress.

The girl helping my gf was excellent. She was super enthusiastic and fully in there with my bride to be gf. Literally. They get in the changeroom with you and assist with the whole process of putting the dress on. So if you're self conscious or feel embarrassed, leave that out the door cuz these girls are truly here to help. Once my gf found the one, the girl helping us immediately offered to pop some bubbly for us to celebrate. Yay! It was a wonderful experience for all of us. I highly suggest coming here. You will throughly be taken care of and their selection of dresses are gorgeous. Even just their space is so beautiful.

I went into the store to return it as per the receipt rules that I can return it within 30 days of it arriving and the manager told me the dress was final sale. nowhere on the receipt did it say final sale, no one at the time of purchase reported to me that it was final sale and she refused to take it back. she didn't seem to care at all actually, no apology didnt do anything to help the situation just said it was final sale. I told her it doesn't say that anywhere on the receipt and she said the "price point" tells me it's final sale... very disappointed. I actually found a dress I wanted to exchange it for but I refuse to give any more business to this store.
