Our mistake was trying a different bakery. Save your money and just head to Prado. My favorite thing at any bakery is Pan Blanco, I could eat it every day... so for me to say that this bakery has the most tasteless pan blanco I've ever had, it was bad. My family did not enjoy their menudo because the half the hominy was too hard and it didn't have much flavor either. You know when something lacks flavor & it tries to make up for that with lots of spices? That's a perfect description of the menudo here. We called the bakery to let them know about the hominy, & the manager kept giving us the run around about the hominy being perfect every time. (I wasn't expecting much from whoever answered but we wanted them to fix the raw hominy for other customers going in that day) The one thing my family did enjoy was the barbacoa but everything else was so bad that I won't go back. I used to love the Mole and also the Chile Verde burritos but then one day I started noticing a difference in their food. Idk, it's like they're lacking off in something. I also have to agree with Vik S. Their customer service is starting to suck! Especially with the females taking orders. They are disrespectful and mamonas! I was in line waiting my turn to order and two of the females taking orders were making fun of a lady with disabilities and they made it obvious too! They'd motion to each other back and forth in front of all the customers. I think management should make changes with customer service and pay more attention to the cooking as well or they may lose lots of customers ‍ oh, and reimburse the person you overcharged on their card. Pulled up to the parking lot and saw a line of people just waiting outside for the place to open, surely it was a good sign that I made a good choice. This place is a Mexican bakery, they sell menudo, tamales, tortas, and burritos from what I could see. I ordered a "machaca" burrito with beans; let me tell you that I was amazed at the great taste that it had. The burrito was made sliced tomatoes, onions, chile, and shredded beef meat. This filling was tightly hugged by a great tasting, homemade tortilla that was both fluffy and soft to the bite. It was truly a beautifully crafted tortilla! There were several workers helping out customers in the front, a couple of cooks masterfully crafting burritos on the side, and a small army of workers in the back make things run like clock work. It was a great sight to see and all the hard work, tender care, and dedication to their work reflected in my amazing burrito. I will be coming back here to spend more money. I've been coming here for years. The menudo is great. They also make super awesome burritos with homemade tortillas so good and fluffy, you'll want to eat it it outta the bag on the way home. My one big complaint with this place is they hate that I don't speak Spanish. The last time I tried to explain I wanted 5 scoops of menudo in my pot, but to hold as much of the meat as possible. They responded by giving me 4 scoops of just the liquid and a half spoon of pozole, and then charging me 20 bucks for it. They also do not have whole wheat bolillos/francesitos which I find kinda weird. Even the Wal-Mart bakery has wheat. Their pastries are super good though, and they have a nice convenient stock of stuff like milk, soda, juice, so it's a good little one-stop shop on those late morning, still-in-pajamas-Sundays when you want to show up to a quick in-and-out place and grab everything for breakfast at home. read more

Since I'm not a huge fan of Mexican pan dulce (and by the way I'm not knocking the ethnicity since I'm Mexican myself) I'm writing this review on their burritos and donuts. Their breakfast burritos are delicious but their donuts are even better. Really big, plump donuts are offered here. The only reason I gave this bakery 3 stars and not 4 is because the price per dozen donuts is more than at other places. Other than that, they're great. I haven't really tried anything else from this bakery (tortas, Menudo, tortillas, etc) so I can't really comment on if they're any good. read more

ZERO STARS the worst customer service and tamales. We got undercooked tamales and we literally just stepped outside and checked them in our car because it was so full inside and due to covid we didn't want to expose our food in the open. We saw they were undercooked and right away asked for out money back or for new ones and the old man refused. He said we had to have checked them inside before we left to get a refund. THE MOST STUPID thing I've heard. We could've literally gotten sick and the tamales were disgusting. I can't believe we trusted this place. It has gone downhill horribly over the years. Still in search of a delicious bakery! But this location is close to be perfect! I have to begin by stating that I love the design of the bakery, it's really pretty and spacious inside. The bakery has a large variety of pastries, and they also sell tamales. My review is solely based on their pastries. Staff was very helpful, friendly and quick in helping you to be in and out of the bakery quickly! We ordered a large amount of pastries and they were quite inexpensive. We were extremely surprised at the amount we paid for them. Their donuts were delicious! Especially the chocolate ones with Creme in the middle- my favorite! As for the other pastries, unfortunately you could taste the mixture of other ingredients- meat, saltiness and especially spice ness. My guess is that the pastries were made using the same equipment to make tamales or another meal and were not cleaned thoroughly. Because I could tastes all that the minute I bit into the other pastries. Thus, aside from this, we were only able to enjoy the chocolate donuts. I hope this is resolved, because the pastries did look beautiful and Staff was friendly. I will only return to get their donuts. read more

Miguel is the best manager ever. I ordered from Uber Eats to get food delivered to my mom for mother's day (I live out of state).. I ordered the wrong thing and Miguel took care of my parents. I had guest from California and we went to Valentine's Bakery for some tamales and Lengua Burrito's, and I called to verify that they had tamales and Lengua for burritos and they said to go at 1:30 pm and they would be ready and I could get some. I went at 1:30 and they had very rude customer service, and they said they had no tamales that they were all ordered, and I told them that I was told to be there at 1:30 so I could get some, so why did they not say that in the begining and I could have ordered some, and they said oh well they didn't have any and had no care in the world. Then I asked for the burrito and they said they had no Lengua. This is the worst service and their employee's are very rude and did not care one bit about their customer. I have been there many times and they over charged me twice, didn't give me the correct items I ordered, didn;t give me the salsa's when you are charged 25 cents for each one, and they don't do anything to correct the order. Stopped in this past Sunday for some menudo and sweet bread. Let me say the menudo was a great mix of flavor and spiciness. The francicitos didn't disappoint, large, soft and tasty. The empanadas were large and tasty and not dried out. They also have awesome burritos. Just fyi, it gets super busy, so go early or be ready for a wait. This place food is overall ok. Customer service NOT too sure. Went to buy some menudo for 3 people. When I got home barely two servings. When I call the manager said nothing he can do. W- T- F..... Recommended to him: What about at least one "I'm sorry" and also talk to the employee but he didn't even bather to ask who he was. I can't even start to describe how awesome this place is. We came by early morning one rainy day and had a breakfast burrito and menudo. Wow. Everything was made fresh and just how you would hope. House made tortillas and generous servings of food. I can't see how this place doesn't have 10 stars. Haha but really. It's good here. Only downside is there isn't much seating for dining in. The bread is amazing, conchas for dipping in milk and my beloved favorite pineapple empanada. They're all amazing and delicious, and the burritos are worth every single calorie, I usually end up getting the Chile relleno but all the other ones I've had are just as good. The only downside is the menudo, people make it seem like its the best thing in the world, it doesn't even stack up go my top 10, people need to go explore out there if they think this is the best.
