Valerio is located in an awkward location of unused corporate offices, but it could in some weird way be deemed as hipster. Interesting choice. I ordered a beach bum, a caramel cold brew, because it was recommended by the barista. It was about $7 for a coffee which is absurd, and the drink was slightly too sweet for me. Service and ambiance isn't particularly worth mentioning. It's a fine coffee shop, just not for me.

It wasn't busy in the early afternoon and I was able to chat comfortably here with a friend as we drank our PSLs, "the undergrad" pumpkin spice latte. I don't usually drink PSLs but this one was pretty yummy. While it is on the pricier side for coffee relative to the size, I'd admit it's pretty much in line with other cafes in the area and maybe slightly better quality and service. Better than Starbucks for sure. Still, I'd come more often if it were cheaper. I recognized a lot of the music and had to resist singing along a lot of the time. I'm glad they have seating available despite the spot being spot. I wish they were open later but understand limitations for the sake of employee wellness. Overall it was pretty cute!

In a sea of commercial warehouses you will find an oasis of refreshment. This hidden gem off the beaten path is well worth the visit. They have a lovely selection of in house roasted coffees and a very large selection of fair trade organic beans. The food here is surprisingly diverse. Homemade pastries, bagels from Everything Bagel, unique quiches, and various sandwiches. The salted Carmel cookie was so amazing! Also tried a slice of the sweet potato crust quiche. The service was very kind and they took time to answer all my questions. They even showed me all the roasting equipment in the back. This is a great place for a quick caffeine stop and a bite! Not to mention freshly roasted beans... which is hard to find around here.

Stopped by to try their summer special drinks and grab a light lunch. I tried the mocha nut latte, which was basically a mocha with coconut and almond milk (I love mocha lattes!) My fiancé enjoyed his black coffee and chicken salad sandwich. Also tried the MTP panini and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! Highly recommend this place!

This place is great! Staff is really kind and helpful. The drinks are affordable, and my chai tea latte was awesome. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a good place to work, read, or meet a friend. Really great atmosphere and music. I will definitely be back to try their Spring Specials and breakfast sandwiches!

I buy their whole bean coffee, which is great! Their breakfast sandwiches are also the best.

The coffee here was too sweet! Wish we could have liked this one, because the ambiance was cute but the food and coffee were sub-par.

We were looking for a nice breakfast spot in Phoenixville so I checked Yelp. Thanks to some helpful…read morereviews, we found this hidden gem! It really was hidden too because if not for GPS, we'd have driven right past it. Nook and Kranny describes it perfectly because it's a cool little spot off the beaten path. The food was delicious! My wife and I each had the Muffin French Toad and my stepson had the breakfast sandwich. For me, the star of the show was the cinnamon grits I ordered...they were fantastic! We were so happy finding this place and really enjoyed it. My family will definitely be back!

Little tea pots and handmade pot holders are for sale on the walls and in the windows. The food here is good and satisfying. The service, not so much. We waited quite a while for our order to be taken, and then to receive it. It's very small, so tables are one on top of another. Don't discuss any state secrets! The coffee is good, but no refills are offered and you have to flag down someone for more. In the winter, make sure you're dressed warm and lucky enough not to be seated directly in front of the doorway, as you're in the direct line of the cold wind coming in every time the door opens. That's the reason we found the only open table when we arrived, so it was on the chilly side.

This is for the 2016 Coffee and Tea Festival…read more I had been wanting to go to this festival for many years, but since I lived in Florida it was highly impractical. A few years later, I ended up with a flight voucher that had to be used and a weekend free.. so I figured why not get a cheap ticket to Philly and make a weekend trip out of it? The festival ended up being a blast! Since it was by the Valley Forge area and not exactly in downtown Philly, hotels were more reasonable and parking was much less of a hassle. I definitely got a few looks when I told people I was from Florida. There weren't too many out of towners. They call it coffee and tea, but it's really mainly tea (which is good for me). The ticket price is cheap and you can get some discounts on tea if you buy it. Or if you want you can just get enough samples to take home. Plus they have both free and paid classes you can take as well. I greatly enjoyed my time here and would recommend it to any tea lover. I'd be hesitant to recommend it to a coffee lover. My advice is check the vendor list before you go. And make sure you sign up for their newsletter as they frequently give discounts on tickets! Also, I attended both the NYC and Philly one. NYC had more vendors and more variety but was definitely more crowded and in a less-tourist friendly area. Because of that, if you're coming from out of town and deciding between the two, I'd recommend Philly.

This was like one big epic tea party. There was a wide array of vendors, providing samples of…read morecoffee, tea, donuts, cakes, chocolates, and in one case, even sweet Italian sausage. The staffers of the event were welcoming and friendly, and it did not take long at all to get through registration. The festival very graciously sponsored a Yelp Ticket give-away, which is how I got my pair of complimentary tickets to the event. Apparently, there were gift bags available for early birds. I didn't end up getting one, which is too bad because I would have loved to describe it as part of this review. I did talk to two attendees who had gotten the gift bags, and they were very happy with them. It seemed like if you got there early enough to get the gift bag, then the $20 entry fee would be a pretty good deal, when you combine the gift bag with the event itself. Even more so if you take advantage of the free seminars offered. The exhibition floor was a nice, clean space, with wide aisles. Each vendor had enough room to display their wares attractively, with there still being enough space for folks to crowd around, take a look at the items being promoted, and taste samples. The space was big enough to comfortably accommodate the number of attendees, yet it was not so big as to be overwhelming. To a person, the vendors were friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. And I tasted some really delicious things, including some I had never dreamed of (Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar, I am talking to you, babe!). The 2nd Annual Coffee and Tea Festival was held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. Parking is a little tough there, and the traffic headed west from Philly out to Oaks is almost always horrendous, so leave an hour earlier than you think you need to, especially if you want to snag one of those elusive gift bags!
