    Smoked Salmon and Capers
    Getlyne J.

Dish Ordered: Smoked salmon & capers with orange juice Visited With: My friends and I went out for breakfast Service: (100/10) This was by far the best service I've ever had. Our waitress was thoughtful and welcoming, and they even started us off with a free appetizer of banana bread, grapes, and chocolate-filled rolls. What really stood out was how we were treated. The lady with black hair (possibly the owner, if not, she deserves a raise!) was genuinely kind. She took pictures for us, chatted and joked with us, and was consistently attentive. It felt like more than just service--it was hospitality at its finest. Food: (9/10) The food was amazing. The smoked salmon was perfectly cooked inside the eggs and seasoned beautifully nothing bland on the plate. I tried capers for the first time, and the way they worked with the omelet made me a fan for life. The combination of eggs, salmon, and capers was spot on. Major compliments to the chef! Ambiance: (10/10) The restaurant was clean, including the bathroom, which says a lot. In the morning, it had a nice energy customers were eating and chatting, music was playing softly in the background, and the art added to the cozy aesthetic. The space was lively without being overwhelming. Overall: A This place easily made it into my top 5 breakfast restaurants. I'm not usually big on breakfast, but I loved everything about it here. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying everything on the menu.

First time coming here and won't be the last! Everything was delicious. The omelet was packed with toppings and the fruit was fresh. Coffee was also great! The staff is very friendly and the owners even offered me a free espresso shot. Love it here!

Landed at PHL around 9am, and had a meeting a mile from this coffee shop shortly after. In an effort to avoid Starbucks or Panera, luckily stumbled into this gem. The coffee was very good. That's cool... La Colombe. The food was AMAZING, and the service even better. I ordered a coffee, a simple breakfast sandwich, and once I set down and opened my laptop I was delivered a little plate full of goodies. This is what will set them apart... something that shows a little extra thought. It gave that slight European feel, or as one might say in my favorite city... the lagniappe. Keeping it basic - I just had a sausage, egg and cheese on a really delicious croissant. It was very good, and with the side of fruit was a nice meal. The sausage was very tasty. Would love to try more menu options at this place.

Had a very nice breakfast here with my wife several weeks ago over spring break. It's a relatively new place in the neighborhood that we could walk to. The food was really good, it was quiet, the server was very prompt, and the prices were very good. The only negative, was that it doesn't seem like they had the kitchen exhaust fan running. The inside of the place smelled fairly strongly of the food they were cooking and so did my clothing when I left. So I had to go home and get changed so I didn't smell like a flat top grill. So, for building that has such a massive exhaust fan hanging out the side of it, maybe they should turn it on. Otherwise. Everything was great.

Loved this place! The espresso was great, lattes were great, and the food was perfect but above all else, the people were so kind and welcoming. The cafe is a family owned business with a sweet lady and her son running the shop. I will be back.

We stopped here for brunch the other day, and this place is a gem! We ordered two omelettes ( you can build your own or pick one of theirs) and I got the French toast and some sides. Everything was delicious. They were super accommodating to us, the service was wonderful and everyone was genuinely so nice and kind. Since they are more of a local spot, there aren't too many tables to sit on inside but they do have some outdoor tables as well. Will definitely be back !

The bartenders were well versed in soccer, and many of the patrons were tuned into the game too, but some just came for drinks and food. They have a nice selection of beers handy and the menu had a surprising number of good options. I finally went with the burger and am so glad I did! It was absolutely gorgeous and cooked a perfect medium. My first bite and I knew it was a fresh patty. I asked if they made them in house but they actually get them from Wells, a Philly staple for good meats. Came with an ample portion of shoestring fries which were hot and crisp. Can't wait to head back and try some more of the menu options. If I can tear myself away from the burger anyway...

While I mostly do takeout, they do have a chill seating area with awesome artwork, and the customer service is pretty spot on. My go-to order is the #6 with three chicken tenders, waffle bread, pickles, and the fries upgraded to cheesy waffle fries for the win. While the reaper wasn't spicy enough to sign a waiver, it packs a good wallop, and the extra-hot with hot honey gives the perfect kick. I've also enjoyed the Nashville hot jumbo shrimp and appreciate that vegetarians can get their heat cauliflower style. There are a number of these hot chicken places in the area now, they are coming up like Starbucks and Wawas, about time we got one the main line. We ordered 2 number 2's which is 2 hot chicken sandwiches and fries. I went with hot and my friend medium. I have a high tolerance for hot food and would definitely try the next level heat next time. My friend loved the medium and won't go higher. Like the other hot chicken places it appears they dry season, which is nice because the sandwich stays crispy on the outside while the interior was juicy and delicious. The cole slaw was crunchy and a nice addition to the sandwich. Fries were hot and tasty, the entire meal travelled well, but it didn't have far to go. They have smoothies on the menu, will try one in the future. And banana pudding for dessert which is a staple at the hot chicken places. Nice addition to the lineup in Ardmore, I hope they will consider staying open later on weekends as an option after a concert at the Music hall.

I had the BLT with avocado and every part of the meal was excellent. The toasty bread was crisp and had a really nice texture; the egg was cooked just how I asked; the bacon a perfect balance of crisp and chewy. I asked for an extra side of avocado (I'm all about getting my fiber) and it arrived at the peak of perfect ripeness. The home fries were tender and savory. Also my cappuccino was delicious. The dining area was very clean and had a faintly rustic feel. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. I was in and out in less than 40 minutes, too, but never felt rushed. There were plenty of vegetarian options. I'm not too sure about it if you have to avoid dairy or gluten; the menu has a lot of that.
