We were running on fumes since Joshua Tree. This station was 10¢ less than Chevron across the way. Only 2 gas stations here. Husband filled up the tank, while Niece and I used the restrooms. They were clean and had toilet paper, soap and high powered hand dryer. When he used the men's room, he said it was okay. When you gas light comes on and you are 20 minutes from the AZ Border, what to do? You stop at the closest CA gas station and get enough gas to take you across the border. Now this may seem silly to stop at another gas station. When the savings is more than $1+/gallon, and the tank is virtually empty, it is a huge savings. Okay so starting off, the service was pretty good, the workers were nice and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, and they had a bunch of snack option. They didn't make us pay to use the bathroom, and the food was good value. The only down side was that there was a creepy man asking for money, that looked like he has been high for the past week.. but besides that, really good place! read more

As soon as I walked in we were asked to put a mask on. We went out to the car and got masks and put them on. When we went back in we noticed that the loud, mouth-breathing lady that sent us to get masks didn't even have a mask on itself. While we waited in line for a sandwich we were laughing at the irony of her making us put masks on but thinking she didnt have to she got upset and kicked us out of the store. Bathroom surprisingly relatively clean. I was expecting way worse honestly considering we were in the middle of nowhere. To say that this place might be an abandoned horror set once used by Alfred Hitchcock would be an insult to Alfred and anybody that has ever seen a Hitchcock film OR remake. This place is INFESTED with flies - and not cute and cuddly flies that sneak up on your apple at a family picnic...they have a variety of winged beasts that will infiltrate your vehicle the moment the door cracks, and they will haunt you the next day in your house. When you step foot inside the station, there are flies inside as well, even on the floor. Comically, there is a door that says open but remains locked, yet no sign that says "please use other door." Their bathrooms are out of toilet paper and also infested. When you alert the help, they are too frightened to walk outside of the store to help you, probably in fear of being mauled by a bevy of winged creatures that even Poe died too young to write about.. What they should do is hang a sign that says "please use other gas stations." read more

DO NOT use this gas station. Just charged us $150 service charge when you use your debit card. Called the gas station and was told "yeah, that's been happening all day " really?!? Had to call the bank and deal with reversing and disputing charges. Will be 7-10 days before we will see a refund! Hope everyone has money just laying around for that long. Extremely overpriced on everything including gas and diesel. Not that I needed a mask because I had my own but masks were $2.99 for one. It isn't the cleanest. Bathrooms were horrible. Save your time and money and go less than 10 miles down the road to Blythe where there's more selections of stations as well as places to eat. read more

Bathrooms are pretty gross. They smelled of urine and had no toilet paper and some of the stalls. And some of the doors in the stalls do not lock. If you stop here to use the bathroom, just go in the back. You'll be better off that way. read more

Shady joint. They don't have prices on any thing in the gas station. A single bottle of generic water turns out to be over $2? But you only find out after they've rung you up. This is the kind of establishment that turns customers away from an entire brand....Valero, you should cut ties with whoever runs this con job stink hole. read more

Our experience at the Mesa Drive Blythe Valero was excellent! Sam was professional, helpful and kind during our emergency with our Rv. We also found the story and bathrooms to be clean and well stocked. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came here to get gas/ a drink on my way back home. The bathrooms were disgusting. Then to checkout for my drink a cashier named Victoria couldn't bother To CHECK ME OUT??? The guy making sandwiches was ringing his bell to her her attention to help me and she said "I'll be there" and continued to do whatever she was doing for a few minutes. Then we paid for our two drinks with $10 and we needed $4.52 change. She gave us $4.50 which really isn't a big deal. 2¢ isn't a big deal I could care less, but the thing that pisses me off is that she didn't tell me she wasn't out of pennies she just handed me my change and said nothing and I said "uhhh I need 2¢" she IGNORED ME and started doing nothing again- I said "that's the worst customer service I have ever witnessed I would be fired if I did that to someone where I work" she ignored me again then I asked for her name so I could tell corporate she she just gave me a dirty look so I asked the sandwich man for her name and he said "Victoria" and laughed because she was pissed. I hope she gets fired. I've never written a review for anything. THATS how bad this was. Oh not to mention gas is 10¢ MORE A GALLON if you're paying with a debit card. Ridiculous. read more
