He stared at you with almost dead-like eyes, as if he about to fall asleep on you. When I told him what I wanted to get out of treatment, he didn't even listen. He took all my medications away. Some of them, like Seroquil and Clonopin, will make you go into withdrawals if you stop them right away. He then tried to prescribe me a medication that I have already taken before and had a terrible reaction to it. Even when I told him this he still did not listen. To me, that is a horrible doctor. Anyone looking for a psychiatrist, stay as far away as possible from Dr Adler. He will not give you the treatment you need not deserve.

Four months I have been trying to get an assessment done at this location for counseling. I left in tears that day because I was told I needed to wait another month and a half. I was scheduled for a 10 am appt today for my assessment. A half hour before my appointment, (and after I am already in my cab and on the way) they called to tell me that they have to cancel it because I need a dual assessment whatever that means and again, I am scheduled for the wrong type of appointment. I return the phone call and she tells me that again, I was scheduled for the wrong type of appointment. (something about meds) As I stated before, I'm trying to get counseling not meds. When I called them back today and to be honest I told them that they need to get their crap together and she hung up on me. I HIGHLY suggest that you DO NOT waste a moment of your time trying to get into see these people because they will not listen to your needs nor will they make them a priority. All thru this entire experience, not one of these ladies have been kind or sympathetic in any way either. I wanted counseling and I think that's a pretty simple request. Not sure what all the confusion has been about or where they got that I wanted meds but as I said before I will not waste another moment of my time with this place. And to cancel at such a last minute is also extremely unprofessional as well. They are dealing with people with mental health issues and in my opinion, only make those issues worse. Four months I wasted waiting on them. What a waste of my time and energy when I could have been getting help someplace else that actually care about the patients and what their actual issies are. I'm discouraged and disgusted with the entire experience. And honestly I left out a lot more of the interactions I have had with this place. All around horrible experience and I never even had an appointment.... I gave 1 star only cause you can't put a zero. Also, idk about any of the other staff there but if you can't get thru scheduling without all these issues then there really isn't any point.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sherman for a few years. He is a Workman's Comp doctor. Well I…read moremissed an appt and was charged $80 for the missed visit. I have made a $20 payment on the bill. Yet it was sent to collections for the total amount. I scheduled a phone appt with him and when I called in for the appt. I was told that he had to see me in person. Then I got stuck in traffic and was 10 minutes late. And even though I had called to let them know I was running late when I arrived was told I would have to reschedule. I rescheduled and was told they would call and remind me. The never called!! Then when I called to again reschedule I was told that he would not submit refills for my antidepressants until I paid him the money I owed. So he was willing to put my health and well being at risk for $60 dollars!!!!! I would not send my dog to see this man!! Plus he only spends 15 minutes with you at the most!!! One of the worst doctors I have ever had!!!!
