Great work at a reasonable price. I needed brakes and caliper repaired quickly due to scheduling and they were able to squeeze me in ASAP.

I came here on a referral from a friend. Toyota told me I needed a new power steering pump plus hoses. They wanted $1300. I came here,told him what Toyota said and how much they wanted. Long story short, Valley called me back and told me I only needed a hose replaced. They did the job for a few hundred $$$. They could have done the entire pump and hoses etc for about $650 but they didn't . These guys didn't know me. I wasn't a regular customer or anything. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My MIL took her car in to have a simple oil change and have her brakes replaced. We recently saw she was losing a lot of oil, so we dropped it off at George's. The oil filter was not properly installed and that's where she was leaking oil. Her brakes are continuously shaking when applying pressure. Prior to that, I had taken a Jeep Cherokee to this place to have a brake booster replaced. After getting home, we realized the brake lights were continuously illuminated. We had to take it back and have them fix it. Do NOT waste your time. This place doesn't deserve to have the high rating it does. SAVE YOUR MONEY. GO TO GEORGE'S! read more

The boys have been servicing my vehicles for years and their shop is the quintessential hometown auto shop. Ted remembers everyone's name and takes the time to explain what is going on with the car and the pricing is the best around. I recommend them to everyone and my friend said Honda wanted $500 to do her front brakes, I turned her on to Ted and he charged her less than half of that. These guys do good work and their honest, plus they have huge hearts and are always taking care of the homeless cats in town and adopt them out if they can. read more

Was recommended here by a coworker. First impressions are huge. I tried calling them for about 1.5 weeks and they seemed impossible to get an appointment with, since they never picked up the phone and no voice mail. Then one day, someone picked up the phone. I needed a simple oil change and brake pads & rotors checked. The person I spoke with on the phone said I should come in early as a first appointment, and when I said I'd prefer something a bit later in the morning, he said there was no guarantee of getting in, since he wouldn't bump a thousand-dollar repair for my stuff. So I made the early appointment, and they found the problem with my rotors, which were warped. I bought them in June 2014 at the Advanced Auto on 46 and even though it had been several months (Decemeber 2014) they changed the rotors and I was able to return them for a full store credit! Long story short, I wasn't thrilled with them at first, but after making the appointment, I must admit they were speedy, friendly, and helpful. Some interesting charcters in there, too. The comments written from years ago are something I would have agreed with years ago. However, I was quoted a price of $350 for labor to replace a gas tank and when I went to pick it up it was not that price -- matter of fact if you scrambled the numbers and started with the highest number down to zero that's what it cost me. I was never received a call to let me know of any issues or cost change and when the car was brought home I found out the job was done improperly as the fuel gauge was no longer working. When I called Ted he pretty much treated me like a dumb female ( he said," how do you know the gas gauge worked to begin with",) so I had a man speak to him( and Ted changed his tone of voice and respect). I was shocked at the $180 additional charge but him telling me in a loud way I didn't know if the gauge worked was not someone I would bring my business to again. Plus he told me you would have to drop the tank again to repair it but he was wrong because the back seat was the way the next person repaired the issue. This was the last time I dealt with this business and I used to be one who told everyone to go to Ted but "no longer". Ted and his team didn't place the buoy in the gas tank correctly and how did I know -- I had to have someone fix it. Why didn't I bring it back to Ted to have him turn it the right way in the gas tank so the fuel gauge would work?? I had no trust since he was not able to keep to his $350 quote... he may tell me the gas gauge was broken... read more

Since I'm a girl, I don't know much about cars except how to drive them but the husband needed a mechanic bc he was having issues with his truck. I read alot of good reviews from a local forum about this place and sent him there hoping I didn't make a mistake. They are honest and price they charge is very resonable, they didn't try to rip you off like others will. He's had to drop in last minute on the way to work bc his truck was having issues and they accomodated him immediately. Would definitely reccomend them! read more

I went there today because my car wouldn't start and I was told that it wasn't my battery by another place. I had heard how great these guys were and finally got to see it for myself. They not only told me it was the battery but called and got the battery and repaired it right away. They were awesome. I can't say enough about them. Finally an honest place to go get my care fixed.
