We live an hour from it and took us a couple hours to get everything prepared. We leave get there , and every gate was locked no one answered the phones and we looked around and called 20 times , left voicemails and nothing we heard nothing . Whoever the lady was that told us to do drop it off doesn't know what she is doing this is just embarrassing .

Basically the phone works both ways. I paid loan off and told CU to issue the check since loan was completed. About a month later, late April asked where my title was? Then the finger pointing came out. To date I have well over 150 hours of my time invested in getting my title. Called CU, Dealership, local DMV and even drove to Raleigh to get my title. Here I am, 5 full months later still without title. I have relocated to another state and the local DMV is involved, and they were told the title would be overnighted to them so I can get local plates a week after receipt. This whole process seems a bit odd, even though in the sales contract I paid several hundred dollars to the dealership to perform the process. I kept asking today about this but crickets in return. From the start there was no dealership ownership in the issue or accountability but plenty of we don't have it, check here or there, and I did At my time and expense. However as a former retired laboratory manager I made my people after they vented, provide a positive attribute to the problem, mine, the Service department performed well.

This a copy of the email I sent to valley vw. I am waiting…read morefor a reply. Just to let you know,I took my vehicle to a mechanic my brother-inlaw recommended.  He looked at the car and determined that problem DID NOT lie in the key barrel or ignition ,but that the micro switch your shop installed was improperly adjusted. He also checked under the hood put in a bushing that was missing. I can only draw one of two conclusions from this. 1. Your staff made a mistake through sloppy work and refused to admit it. Or 2 . It was done purposely to upsell a part I did not need. Either way it does speak to competence in either scenario Your mistake cost me $162.50 to rectify. The right thing to do ,since you claim to want to make it right. Would be to re-imburse me for my time and money. While im highly doubtful this will happen i will be sending this email to volkwagons corporate office and of a review my adventure with both you and Eric at valley volkswagon. Needles to say you can expect no return business from me. Sincerly, Preston Houser

But the fear of being overwhelmed by pushy car dealers and being pressured into something your not sure if you wanted or can even afford keeps you holding on to that clunker. I knew it was time. My midlife crisis sports car no longer fit my needs or my comfort. I looked around at several models, makes and dealers. The Escape seemed exactly what I wanted. I used a phone app and was overwhelmed by 37 phone calls within 2 hours. But this dealer was closest and had great reviews. I met Rich and he did a great job- I chose an Escape, but spied a dealers demo model on the lot- 2000 miles but a great bargain. It did take a while back at finance, as expected, but I know Rich made a great effort to make it a good deal. I got $1000 off from a First Responder coupon, another $1000 in dealer coupons, about $4000 off retail because it was a demo, and my trade in paid off even. That's the kind of effort you rarely see from sales staff. Although I walked in nervous and ready to get scammed, it's a week later and I still love my car and know it got a legitimate deal. They earned these five stars.

I contacted the Ford customer service center to resolve my issue and the service managers solution was to have us come pickup the vehicle. The manager wouldn't speak to me or return a call even with Ford calling them directly. I wouldn't be so upset except, instead of being honest "we didn't fix it" they put on the paperwork that it mysteriously disappeared on its own (not exactly in those words). So it has been in my possession for 30 hours sitting in the driveway and it's being towed again because the draw drained the battery. (hopefully it's not going to another worthless mechanic) On a side note the sales department tried to be helpful. Julie the loaner coordinator was very friendly throughout the whole process. She tried very hard to accommodate and keep us informed. Mark, the service advisor, tried his best but he was the middle man between an incompetent tech and unsatisfactory management. They were trying to blame the power drainage on our Apple tag keychain or accusing us of a 3rd party application. 2022 Ford F250 Lariat diesel with nothing aftermarket. Completely unacceptable
