My husband and I were shopping for a car..dual military so we had our ducks in a row with money and credit, etc. We didn't want to deal with big dealerships and didn't want to travel far out of the town to find somewhere else (which is what we should have done!!) the salesmen are vultures here! I'm giving them two stars only because the cars they were selling were the only decent thing there! I was pregnant, and we needed a new car. They financed us, we signed, they signed and we drove off the lot, some what happy and exhausted after dealing with them. Two days later, they call us and say "there was a problem financing you guys you have to bring the car back" ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! Who does that?! I've never heard of a car dealership doing that! Ever. Then they say "ok we will try to figure it out but if we don't you have to bring it back" so two days late after the first phone call they say "oh it's fine, we got it" then the bank calls us personally and says "no there's another problem" what the actual fuck?! I would never go back or recommend this place. They also screwed us on money! What jerks! They should be ashamed of themselves for screwing a family over and making such a damn hassle out of it. I also reduced the review to one star because that's how much this place pissed me off now that I've had to think of the story again. I also forgot to mention earlier in the review that during the financing situation I talked about above, they mocked and made fun of us! I remember clearly telling them face I face when we were so conveniently called back (during work!) to the office they said "you guys have to come by today! No exceptions." Excuse me? I work, my husband works full time-don't talk to me like that you guys made the mistake. Well when we got there I said "this has become a very stressful situation for us. How could this happen?" And my husband chimed in about it too saying roughly the same thing, they responded literally with a mocking smile and said "it's just a car guys, geez! Relax!" And laughed it off. Ok so now this situation is funny to you?! Me buying a car off your lot is hilarious now? And your "little" mistake with our money and credit, we are supposed to "relax"?! They just laughed it off. YOU COULD HAVE TAKEN SOME DOLLARS OFF THE PRICE FOR YOUR STUPIDITY! Seriously, DO NOT BUY HERE! Oh, and that's not it! The car we purchased had a cracked windshield and they gave us a letter from them stating they would have the windshield replaced on their dime within 60 days of purchase. No problem. Well of course, we just got our car and needed it badly so we didn't schedule it right away, then the next month my husband and I both had unexpected military engagements and missed the deadline (our fault since we had 60 days I guess) well I called them and explained what happened and asked if we could get it in for the replacement still (this was like on day 90) they said "No, we can't do that. We expect you to stick to the days we allowed no exceptions. They pay for it in advance." Oh really? If they pay for it in advance then what's the problem?? That doesn't even make sense! These guys are SLIMY, DISHONEST, UNCARING SALESMEN.

I came in to get a simple oil change and left with my leaking windshield washer pump replaced under warranty and the oil change of course. Could not be happier with my service experience. UPDATE......After returning home I realized that the service department left out a bolt, a washer and most importantly damaged the paint on my fender. My warranty company wanted me to use their in network service center and pay a $150 deductible for the initial washer pump repair. I asked if I took it to my local BMW dealer how would that work and they explained that I would need to pay a $350 deductible for the same repair. This seemed like the best solution as I had complete confidence in the BMW dealership to do the job correctly. Boy was I wrong, I regret ever going to Valley World BMW and will never go back for service again. I can certainly understand why they have a 2.5 rating on Yelp. This review won't help their score, that is for sure. I do not live in the area so I asked them to fix the paint, install the correct white rivets (I confirmed with Chad Huggins at least twice that he had white rivets prior to doing my repair) and install the missing bolt and missing washer? Who leaves off a bolt and a washer? I'll tell you either someone who doesn't care or is spread so thin that he is rushing to get to the next service customer. I had asked for a set of front mats for my trouble to come all the way back to the dealership and was told "no we are NOT doing that for you, we will just top of your fuel". They replaced the rivets, missing bolt and washer but took ZERO responsibility for damaging the paint on my fender. What a complete service disaster. You have been warned, I will return to BMW of Southpoint for future service even though it is much further away. On a side note, if you are a dealership and need to hire a service manager I highly recommend Chad Huggins as he is professional, compassionate and very communicative. Please help him get a new job and help him get off this sinking ship.

My goal was to have the warranty company cover part of the repairs while I also considered trading in the vehicle for a larger third-row SUV. After work, I met with a sales representative named Ashgin, who was assisting me with the trade-in process. While I was in the middle of working with her, a man named Nick, who identified himself as a manager, aggressively approached me in the parking lot. I had never met him before, yet he immediately demanded payment for a diagnostic fee, interrupting an active sales discussion. Without any professionalism or customer service, he abruptly took the vehicle keys from Ashgin and told me I would not be purchasing any vehicle from them. His behavior was rude, disrespectful, and completely uncalled for. As a Black professional arriving directly from work, dressed in business casual, I found his treatment offensive and discriminatory. No customer should ever be approached in such a hostile and demeaning manner. The entire encounter felt racially motivated and extremely uncomfortable. Because of Nick's conduct alone, I am giving this dealership a poor rating. I strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere. Customer service, professionalism, and respect are clearly lacking at this location. I will make sure I let my huge social media platform aware of this place.

Just to let you know,I took my vehicle to a mechanic my brother-inlaw recommended.  He looked at the car and determined that problem DID NOT lie in the key barrel or ignition ,but that the micro switch your shop installed was improperly adjusted. He also checked under the hood put in a bushing that was missing. I can only draw one of two conclusions from this. 1. Your staff made a mistake through sloppy work and refused to admit it. Or 2 . It was done purposely to upsell a part I did not need. Either way it does speak to competence in either scenario Your mistake cost me $162.50 to rectify. The right thing to do ,since you claim to want to make it right. Would be to re-imburse me for my time and money. While im highly doubtful this will happen i will be sending this email to volkwagons corporate office and of a review my adventure with both you and Eric at valley volkswagon. I contacted the Ford customer service center to resolve my issue and the service managers solution was to have us come pickup the vehicle. The manager wouldn't speak to me or return a call even with Ford calling them directly. I wouldn't be so upset except, instead of being honest "we didn't fix it" they put on the paperwork that it mysteriously disappeared on its own (not exactly in those words). So it has been in my possession for 30 hours sitting in the driveway and it's being towed again because the draw drained the battery. (hopefully it's not going to another worthless mechanic) On a side note the sales department tried to be helpful. Julie the loaner coordinator was very friendly throughout the whole process. She tried very hard to accommodate and keep us informed. Mark, the service advisor, tried his best but he was the middle man between an incompetent tech and unsatisfactory management. The shipping fee was reimbursed and also credited if I decide to purchase another vehicle. I understand things happen and I don't blame the Fayetteville store. I blame the corporation and the process. That being said I do feel that I will give Carmax a second chance. Original post - I reserved a car 2 weeks ago that was to be shipped from Ohio to Fayetteville. The delivery window has come and gone and I still can't get an update. Shipping fees are non-refundable even if the car hasn't moved. I feel like I've been scammed.

However, to my disappointment the vehicle was not in the condition pictured online. It had multiple areas with chipped paint on the front bumper, around the windows, and top of the vehicle. It has a large scratch on the plastic above the tire on the driver side going down the bumper. I questioned the salesman why this was not documented online or if it happened during transit why wasn't I notified. He advised it's a used car it's going to have imperfections. Online the listing only showed an imperfection for one of the rims. If this vehicle would have been accurately posted online I would have NEVER paid for shipping cost. This vehicle only has 12,XXX miles and 2 years old. I requested a refund for the shipping cost through corporate due to the way this vehicle is fraudulently shown online. I spoke with salesman at the Fayetteville location they informed me the manager did not see anything wrong with the vehicle. I informed him of all the areas I saw wrong with the vehicle. He stated he would go look and call me back. He returned my call a little later stating those are all signs of normal wear and tear on a used vehicle. They do not show those pictures online because it's normal. I asked him about the scratches. He told me good news he was able to get it off with his fingernails. He wanted me to come back to look at the vehicle. I advised him no way he got the scratches off with his fingernails. I felt of the scratches myself while viewing the vehicle. The scratches did not budge, paint was completely gone, and the metal of the car was showing. He stated he would not be able to refund me but could give me a $199 credit to have another vehicle shipped through Carmax. I explained I wanted a refund and did not want another vehicle shipped here. He refused the refund and stated they don't post all imperfections of cars online. The 360 pictures online are stock photos. They don't have access to take 360 photos. I explained in detail the other photos posted did not show the scratches on the bumper or chipped paint on the vehicle. This was my FIRST experience with Carmax and it will be my LAST. This is complete FRAUD to inaccurately represent a vehicle condition online. I would have NEVER paid to ship the vehicle here if I would have known the accurate condition. DO NOT SHIP/PURCHASE vehicles from Carmax. They are shady and do dirty business! No way he got those scratches off with his fingernails. I have attached pictures of the online post as well as pictures I took today of the vehicle. You can see for yourself how fraudulently this vehicle was advertised. Carmax should 100% give me a refund for its FALSE advertisement! If I could give them NEGATIVE STARS I would. They do not even deserve a 1 star! UPDATE 4/28/26: Carmax Customer Service REFUSED to refund my money. Will only provide a $199 shipping credit to have another vehicle shipped. They told me today they were able to buff the scratch off of the bumper on the vehicle. However, yesterday I was told they were able to use their fingernails to get the scratch off the bumper. So which one is it? Regardless the vehicle had a scratch, chipped paint, etc that was NOT documented online. Again, if the car was accurately posted online I would have NEVER paid to ship the vehicle. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CARMAX! RUNNN!
