Walking through and sharing stories connected to our relatives turned a gray day into something really memorable for both of us. Using Find A Grave beforehand was extremely helpful in locating family members, especially when visiting for the first time. I do wish some of the sections were labeled a bit more clearly, as it can be challenging to navigate when you're searching for specific plots. Overall, a peaceful and beautiful place to reflect, remember loved ones, and pass family history down to the next generation.

When I finally decided to speak up I called the office regarding this matter, I spoke with Liz, whose tone was very rude, aggressive, impolite, and inconsiderate. Our family has spent thousands of dollars for three different family lots, so this level of customer service was extremely disappointing. What happened to treating customers with courtesy and respect? Had Liz spoken to me in a calm and professional manner while simply explaining the cemetery rules, it would have made all the difference. Instead, the interaction left me feeling disrespected and unheard during an already emotional situation. So uncalled for! They need to hire friendly staff.

From the very beginning, their team was so kind, patient, and understanding about our situation. They walked us through every step of the process, explained everything clearly, and never made us feel rushed or pressured. It wasn't just about paperwork they really listened and supported us when we needed it the most. If you're going through a loss and need guidance, I highly recommend Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. They made a very difficult time a little easier to get through, and I'm truly grateful for their compassion.

The chapel was clean, and nice enough. No complaints there. Bottled water offered to those attending: check. Sufficient Kleenex boxes available: check. But the experience following services were unforgivable and I would wish this on NOONE. We lined up for the auto procession to the cemetery. I SPECIFICALLY asked for the stickers or placards for the cars which stated "FUNERAL". Was told we didn't need them. Yes. We needed them. The hearse driver took no care whatsoever to drive in a manner that would allow the procession of cars to remain behind him. A bigger problem since all in attendance were from out of town. Being the second car after the hearse I was able to keep sight of the vehicle and frantically messaged my family on how to keep up. The driver did not know the correct way to the cemetery, took a wrong turn, causing a bigger cluster in all the vehicles trying to do u turns on a small street and then once again taking no care in whether or not we could keep up with him. All of this could have been just an annoyance and I probably would not have taken my time to write this lengthy review. My frustration was very clear upon finally parking . With my mother's casket still in the hearse, the Ave Maria Memorial Chapel employee/hearse driver confronted me saying "Is there a problem?" I very clearly stated "yes there is, but this is not the time to deal with it". He forcefully and rudely continued to push the matter despite my pointing out to him that this was my mothers burial and I was not going to have that discussion there with him. He did not drop it. Would he have had this same interaction with a male of the same tall stature as him, rather than a 5'2" woman? Who knows. It would have been equally inappropriate and I hope you get the picture. This staff member's behaviour was rude, unprofessional, inappropriate and unforgivable; about as far from "compassionate and caring" "patient and helpful" as described in another review as possible.

Losing a parent is incredibly hard, but they handled everything with such a high level of dignity and grace that it truly eased some of the burden for us. Communication: From the very first call, I felt heard and supported. They were incredibly patient with all of my questions and kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind. The Process: I found their approach to be very modern, transparent, and straightforward. There was never any pressure or "salesy" feeling, just genuine empathy and a focus on what my mother and our family needed. The Memorial: They helped us navigate the details for her memorial with so much respect. Everything was handled professionally, allowing us to focus on honoring her memory rather than worrying about the logistics. I am so grateful to have had their guidance during this time. If you are looking for a team that treats your loved ones with true honor and provides a seamless, compassionate experience, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I also really appreciated the honesty in their business model. I know it could technically be cheaper if they did every single thing in-house, but they intentionally use outside sources for certain steps to ensure everything is handled by specialists. I actually felt like I got more value this way because I knew I was getting the best possible care at every stage. It's also worth noting for other families that they don't have an embalming service; they focus purely on a dignified, natural process which was exactly what we wanted for my mom. I am so grateful to have had their guidance during this time. If you are looking for a team that treats your loved ones with true honor and provides a seamless, compassionate experience, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you, Honor Cremation, for taking such wonderful care of my mom.

Customer service: 5/5 Value: 3.5/5 Execution: 5/5 From a service standpoint, they excellent. The team is available 24 hours via phone and text. For the majority of my work with them, they were extremely responsive, had good pass downs between shifts and team members, and worked to meet all our needs and timelines. They never pressured us into anything or upsold us. They just wanted to support whatever we needed. My family needed an expedited cremation and memorial all within a week of my family member passing and Honor Cremations was able to make that happen and get the paperwork done with the county in that timeframe. Honor's paid casket option was cheaper than other crematories and was a very nice, presentable casket. Honor does not embalm in house but has embalming providers they can work with. The only reason I would hesitate to select Honor again is because other crematories were more cost effective (up to $1000 cheaper for our package selections), but Honor did what they could to reduce costs and provide flexible options and offerings. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others if service and empathy is a top priority.
