It's a clean, pretty, peaceful, and well-organized (some areas are separated by faith). People are doing to get in!

David George of Los Gatos Memorial Park diligently pursed my brother-in-law's grave marker repair. The headstone had been bent and cracked in the forty plus years since his death, and Mr. George made sure it was renewed at no expense to the family. It took a special order of the stone, which we as a family greatly appreciated. Thank you, David George, for serving our family so graciously and well.

    Memorial park

Having to burry a loved one is never easy. This lovely memorial park is absolutely beautiful and truly brings light into what could feel like a dark place. The staff is warm and welcoming and the coordinator (blanking on name ) was so kind to allow me to take professional pictures there for a "death to my 20s theme" birthday with only the request not having the names be shown on the tombs in respect for family members. This memorial park couldn't have fit the theme any better, Burying my 20s and a celebration of life. Thank you again Los Gatos memorial park for this experience!

9/23/17All flowers people left for their loved ones were removed without notifying family members claiming there was a sign at the entrance!

Ask the Community - Los Gatos Memorial Park

Can my future urn be buried on top of parent's caskets?

For a fee if they’re in a mosoleum (wall spot)… kind of a big fee to open things up and place the iron in there.

Stephanie was efficient in handling the communication via email and we flew in and let her in person today to pick up the death certificates. I'll write more after the memorial service later this week. They definitely encourage using the chapel for 200 guests and it's fairly expensive but hey, what a great business this is since everyone has to deal with the death of a loved one. It's definitely a low key hustle which I totally respect. It's extremely overwhelming when you are dealing with grief but it has to be done so let the experts here help you through it. They seem to really care and are very sympathetic!

This place is very conveniently located across from the parking structure in downtown Campbell. When we walked in, it was immediately a different vibe from what I've been accustomed to as far as funeral homes go. The interior of the space was really nice, clean, and well-lit. It was very modern & updated. It was a refreshing change to walk into a space like this and feel the lightness of the atmosphere vs. the heavy grief that perpetuates in a traditional older funeral home that tends to be more dimly lit and draped in warmer, more old-fashioned decor. There was ample room for the formal memorial and the reception that followed. The memorial was baseball themed to honor our friend and there was a food truck that was serving hot dogs outside in the back area of the space - it was nice that there was a side door that led people out there & that there was room to accommodate this. The staff were very attentive and kind. They were super-ftiendly & ready to provide support & assistance at the drop of a hat. It was nice to know that our friends/their clients were in good hands during a difficult time.

Other funerals I've gone to, the staff members whether working in parking control, or guiding the pall bearers seemed more caring. They'll make sure the family's experience is emaculate, or at least almost perfect. Here, they don't greet you, nor at least try to assist the elders especially in the parking lot. They'll just stand there with a blank look to make sure you're okay... without even a smile. But they are seemingly professional with their guidance. Definitely not naturally charismatic. I hope they like their jobs. For me, it's been sad to keep experiencing loss of loved ones. We are getting older, and it's called the circle of life. Going back to the cemetery itself, the graves are quite scattered. You'll see clusters filled, and then empty spots steps away. The views of San Jose City is beautiful! Blue skies. Birds chirping, some wind, made my experience wonderful. Of course depending on the weather. The cemetery is still expanding into unused land. However, some nice homes are built directly across the street, where the lawn may be shared (literally). Luckily, I'm friends with Casper, and Poltergeist is only a movie. LOL. I'd say it's an average 3.8 stars experience.

Exceptional Funeral Services for My Father…read more Losing my father was one of the hardest moments of our lives, and I had no idea where to begin with arranging his funeral. From the very first call, the team made the entire process so much easier and more manageable for us. They guided us step-by-step--from helping us schedule meetings, to clearly explaining what needed to be done depending on the practices we chose (Catholic or Christian), to handling all of the important documents on our behalf. Their advice was always practical, honest, and rooted in experience. One thing that gave us tremendous peace of mind was knowing that my father would be cared for with dignity during his full-body repatriation to the Philippines. They ensured that he would arrive safely and properly prepared, and we are forever grateful for that reassurance. A special thank you goes to Tom Beddingfield, who was a true anchor through all of this. His patience, professionalism, and steady guidance made an overwhelming process so much easier for our family. I cannot thank him enough for a job exceptionally well done. We also want to highlight the incredible work of Dean DeBruin, who created my dad's video tribute. This was no simple task--my father had a massive and disorganized collection of photos totaling 16 gigabytes. Dean was unbelievably patient, kind, and accommodating through every revision and request. The final tribute was heartfelt, beautiful, and truly captured who my dad was. The coordination between the funeral team and the church was seamless. The staff communicated directly with the parish where we planned to hold the viewing and funeral mass, which removed so much stress from us. We are especially thankful to Fr. Francis, who reached out personally to learn about my father's life so he could honor him meaningfully during the service. We would also like to express our deep appreciation to Noriel P. Adricula, the incredible singer and pianist who provided the music for the funeral mass. His performance was heartfelt and beautiful--exactly what my father deserved. All who attended my father's funeral were in awe of how beautifully everything was managed--professional, heartfelt, and all at a very reasonable price. We felt supported every step of the way, and we are truly grateful for the care this team provided to our father and to us.

I was looking at mortuaries, alone with an unfamiliar duty in an unfamiliar location. I finally turned to Yelp to see what was posted about mortuaries I'd looked at when David from Honor Cremations popped up to say he thought he could help me. I truly felt an instant feeling of safety and trust. Sometimes we're lucky enough to get guidance. David is kind, sympathetic and morale. I spent the next several years feeling secure for when the time came. One of the few things I was able to feel secure about. When my husband did pass in the middle of the night in the veteran hospital hospice, they knew to call Honor. Because it might take time for Honor to arrive, the hospital wanted to take my husband to their mortuary and I refused saying we would wait for Honor. I trusted them and knew he'd be in good hands and those feelings were right. The gentleman who arrived to take my husband helped the nurse prepare him so when he came out of the room he was draped in the American flag. With everything else my husband and I went through with the change in care facilities, finances, and just 'handling it all' as my husband's condition worsened over the years, David's honesty and compassion took this step off my shoulders. I have purchased Honor Cremation for myself, so our children have the confidence to know everything will be taken care of. Thank you David and Honor Cremations. Losing a parent is incredibly hard, but they handled everything with such a high level of dignity and grace that it truly eased some of the burden for us. Communication: From the very first call, I felt heard and supported. They were incredibly patient with all of my questions and kept me updated every step of the way, which gave me so much peace of mind. The Process: I found their approach to be very modern, transparent, and straightforward. There was never any pressure or "salesy" feeling, just genuine empathy and a focus on what my mother and our family needed. The Memorial: They helped us navigate the details for her memorial with so much respect. Everything was handled professionally, allowing us to focus on honoring her memory rather than worrying about the logistics. I am so grateful to have had their guidance during this time. If you are looking for a team that treats your loved ones with true honor and provides a seamless, compassionate experience, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I also really appreciated the honesty in their business model. I know it could technically be cheaper if they did every single thing in-house, but they intentionally use outside sources for certain steps to ensure everything is handled by specialists. I actually felt like I got more value this way because I knew I was getting the best possible care at every stage. It's also worth noting for other families that they don't have an embalming service; they focus purely on a dignified, natural process which was exactly what we wanted for my mom. She was patient and helpful and made sure we were comfortable with the setup and ensured things ran smoothly. The presentation was clean and personalized to our religionious preferences. Darling & Fischer were very professional from the first phone call, when I spoke to Maribel, who picked up the phone at a very late hour. Our loved one passed away in another state, and they coordinated with the other mortuary to receive her at the airport. The rest of the staff were gracious and helpful as well, and there was always someone receiving guests at the entrance or making sure to help guests find our place. The casket and flowers surpassed expectations, and the AV setup was sufficient for the size of the room (the main chapel downstairs). A separate room was also prepared for refreshments and coffee, and a podium for speakers. Annie worked with our religious leader to have the altar set up, and the settings were beautiful. After the funeral procession departed for the burial site we forgot several items. Steve and Danna were there and remembered to bring it for us. It's the little details that made this memorable and painless. I am considering DF for my own policy now that I'm older, and definitely know they will take good care of my family when it's my turn.
