I stepped out of the room to ask how much longer it might be. The answer was we aren't sure there is one person ahead of you. Then 10 minutes later the nurse came in to tell me they were not going to be treating me today. You took my vitals and I have a fever. You are just going to refuse to treat me? Even though you know I am sick. Then when asking for my copay refund the girl that checked me in would have to do it and she was at lunch. I understand long wait times. I work in Healthcare. Keep the patient in the loop. Don't let them sit in a room for 40 minutes with no updates and then refuse to treat the sick patient. Luckily the assistant manager talked to me and agreed that this was unacceptable.

However, the next day she agreed to going to HIMG Now Care. They did a CT Scan and X-ray. Nothing was broken thank goodness but the knot over her right eye was unbelievable. We saw Jama Barker and she said the scans were good and the swelling and bruising should go away in 10 days to 2 weeks. This morning Mom called Now Care and was told to come on in bc Jama was in. We thought she would get it lanced/drained and maybe get a couple stitches. We waited for about 45 minutes bf getting called back. Jama came in and said it was looking better. Mom laughed thinking she was joking at first. It had been 13 days since the accident and the knot was still as large as ever. Jama said that she needed to go to a plastic surgeon. Mom asked if there was one in HIMG and was told yes. Mom asked how soon she could see him/her and was told she needed to be patient. BE PATIENT, we have been waiting 2 weeks! We have been patients at HIMG since they were located on 20th Street. To be treated like we were today is ridiculous. She just told Mom she was fine to go out in public with that black knot was uncalled for. Mom asked for an X-ray for her right knee bc she felt that might be the reason for the last two falls. Jama didn't even address that concern. Apparently we had been "dismissed" for this visit. More patients ~ more $

If…read moreI have to wear them all the time, I want them to be something I like, something that looks good on, and something that is well made. Out of the four places I checked out, Lenscrafters by far had the best selection, as well as the best service! I had Brad offer some assistance, and I explained I something that looked nice, and I'd like to have something maybe blueish. He asked a few questions, inquired if this was my first pair, and walked me through how things worked. He did a great job looking for pairs of glasses he thought would look good on me, as well as be something I would like. I can't imagine anyone making the whole process any simpler. It really put my mind at ease, and made having to wear glasses much more acceptable. This was a great experience, and I wish buying glasses was as affordable as buying a pair of pants, I'm really looking forward to going through this process again with Lenscrafters next time I need glasses!

They replaced the lenses multiple times and then finally the frames, in which it has happened yet again on the new frame. Wouldn't ya know, now my one years up from the original purchase and they can't help me anymore. So I've spent a year driving one hour, one way to go down and show them my split lenses and then another hour one way to pick them up, multiple times. Did they ever offer me another frame? Nope! Just the same frame that was obviously faulty. Were they nice about it??? NOPE! The manager told me it's my fault for buying Walmart cleaning pads. So I bought LensCrafters cleaning spray and pads. What happened yet again???? My lenses are splitting! Do not go here unless you'd like to be belittled and taken advantage of by buying crappy frames and lenses.

They gave me a wonderful information packet with all the information I needed on my lens pre-surgery post surgery what to expect. It was remarkable so wonderful and all the people at the surgery center were so kind and compassionate very caring, quick minimal waiting. This is the way medicine should be a fine example and Dr. CARTER GUSSLER Was simply wonderful, calming reassuring, and everything he said would happen happen just like it was the only uncomfortable aspect of this I surgery was the pain taking off the tape for my IV and staring into a bright light other than that it was remarkably minimal discomfort. Highly recommend this group highly recommend the surgery center for your cataract surgery. I wish I could give it 10 stars.
