There's a huge outdoor area of picnic tables with umbrellas and games (jenga, corn hole and ladder toss). Two flight options along with a small snack menu. Bottles are $11.14 to $25.00, which includes taxes and deposit. They offer 10% off bottles with a purchase of a flight. - Flight #2 ($11.50) - farm house, piquette, kiwi sour and quince. Best flavour and the most unique was the quince (sadly, it was only available on tap). Touch of funk in the farm house. Piquette was supposed to have upfront ginger notes, we didn't detect any. Kiwi sour was light in flavour. JO&C had interesting sounding flavours but the ciders left us wanting more.

Cider was wonderful and a flight let you try the unique blends for just over $11- delicious. Sat outside on some wobbly picnic benches and soaked in the ambience, music a little loud. The only downer of the evening was the 3 choices of pizza from the pizza shack, order at window, that were the most minuscule ( a few bits of dill pickle and dusted with mozeralla and I mean dusted! This also applied with the "meat topping") pizzas I have ever encountered for basically the same price as you would pay in a pizza restaurant, served on a floppy paper plate. I realise food supplies are expensive but seemed to me that these pizzas were very over priced. Kind & helpful staff all round.

I've been on a self-guided craft cidery tour of Victoria Island and the quality of the cider here is second to none. And the atmosphere is classy modern-farmhouse if you are collecting Instagram pics! They won the People's Choice cider festival award for a reason! The owner was on site and very friendly. She explained the apple cultivars are all old-world imports, and you can absolutely taste that in the flavor bouquet. None of the usual flavor gimmicks here! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and encouraged me to try the lavender, (normally I'd not bother with flavors) an it was fantastic-- inviting and crisp on the nose and pallet. After that taste, I dove into a quince and a hopped semisweet, and was blown away the complexity. All selections had beautiful clarity and a mellow butter smoothness and full bodied viscosity. Of note, even on a busy holiday weekend there was plenty of room and very fast service--unlike some of the more touristy spots. Families, doggos, couples and groups all had space and privacy to laugh and enjoy themselves. Don't hesitate. Go now!

The place is huge, with lots of seating for groups of all sizes, big open spaces for kids and dogs to run around, and a whole area of the farm where you can stroll and chat while admiring the wide array of plants they grow here. They have ample parking, and thankfully a very intuitive set up for finding food and drinks. They had a pretty good selection of food vendors on a Sunday night, and we ended up getting a banh mi each from Friendly Nettle, and a dozen oysters for me from Moonlight Oysters. Food came out quick, after which we found a seat out near the sunflowers. I really enjoyed my pork banh mi -- it's more of a pork sausage than a grilled pork, but it was really tasty with great bread and stuffed full with pickled shredded veg and cilantro. My dinner buddy found that he wasn't a huge fan of tempeh in a banh mi but still found it a satisfying meal. The oysters were also delicious. They were serving up the Aphrodite variety that night, which were petite shots of mineral-y goodness. After dinner and a stroll through the grounds, we got some delicious vegan ice cream at Fiddlehead creamery. We loved their strawberry flavor and were excited at how all the flavors are vegan here! Keep in mind if you're thinking of visiting Finnriver that even for this area the food vendors close early here (like 7-7:30ish). If you want to eat, make sure you come out on the earlier side!
