Like others, I don't like leaving bad reviews but I can't let this slide anymore. On 6/12/202, I…read moretook my wife's car in around noon for an oil change and tire rotation. I was told I needed a wheel alignment and agreed to have that done since there was one car on the rack and I was next. Four hours later the car was ready. As I was getting in the car, I saw a greasy hand print on the light colored fabric on the drivers seat. My radio station had been switched and no more than a block away my check engine light came on. I returned to Grease Monkey where I stayed for another hour as they tried to figure out what happened. After over an hour and no one making eye contact, a tech came out to tell me all of the screws in my air box were stripped and a new one would be ordered. They said they would order a new one and call me. I called the store mid week and asked if it was ordered and they said no. Was going to get ordered, I asked. We're talking about it was the reply. So, after five hours in their waiting room, over $250 spent, I have a car with a check engine light on, stained upholstery and a ruined airbox and the 4th of July weekend coming up. Things happen, but the lack of respect Grease Monkey has shown me as a customer and my car is unacceptable and disappointing.

We were shopping for a new to her car. We swang by only a couple of lots, before I spotted it--'ohp…read moreshe's gonna want that one.' Sure enough, a squealing "Oooh a Subaru " rang out from her. So I did a quick check--high rating, dependable, lower than average maintenance needs. Only real complaint by some is that the windshield integrity is weak. Thinking to myself, 'Well they were probably traveling behind a fast-moving truck on a rock road'--so we bought it. 2 weeks later: We were only doing 50 when a passing car threw a pebble at us--itty bitty chip--3 days later, a spider web of cracks--sigh. I called around to some places to get estimates for a windshield replacement. The price got up there a bit--like five or six hundred bucks. Logan Glass gave me the most competitive estimate, and they've been in business for around 30 years. So, I set an appointment with their very nice front office lady. Her voice sounds sweet, like a chiming bell. She had told me it would take up to 2 hours, which I was expecting because all of the other places I called had told me how complicated the job would be. So, the day that we dropped the car off with them, an hour later we got a phone call, chiming "It's all ready." Thinking to myself--'Crap, what did they miss.' She explained that certain parts of my estimate were not necessary for my specific vehicle. Logan Glass was honest with me, looked at my actual setup, and did the job in an hour with all of my sensors continuing to work perfectly. They did a fantastic job and it cost me a considerable amount less than the estimate because they didn't tack on any unneeded work. Soooo, guess what--6 weeks later we were on 91 South--yep, itty bitty chip--"Again!--Ugh!" Remembering the sign at Logan's, 'no-appointment rock chip repair,' we pulled in there before continuing home. 15 minutes later there was not even a blemish on the windshield. The chip was sealed up so perfectly, you can't even tell it was ever there. And, to top that off, because we had the windshield replaced there--first chip repair is free! But, it's that Subaru, so we'll be seeing them again--probably soon! I'm never shopping around again, I'm going straight to Logan Glass for my auto glass needs.

At the very least, get a quote from these guys. They beat the other quotes I received. Friendly…read morestaff, nice waiting room, and fairly quick too. Would definitely go back to get my windshield replaced again.
