More unexpectedly, the Mount St. Helens Gift Shop also seems devoted to all things Big Foot. They stock a larger selection of t-shirts, hoodies etc displaying Sasquatch than I've ever seen before. There is also a large (8'!)stuffed doll who is available for photos....unlike his corporeal cousins! There is also a smatering of other local items. We bought a jug of marionberry jam that comes with a top to make it a salt or pepper shaker when you finish off the jam.

It's kinda like a Cracker Barrel store, but with just a smidge of cottagecore, instead of the heaps you find at CB. This store is located in the middle of a community, and by that I mean it's a cute little retail store surrounded by residents. Usual displays and short film. A wetlands boardwalk hike of under 1 mile just outside the building. All this is in the boundaries of Seaquest State Park. And yes, there is a nice view of Mt. St. Helens, though it's approximately 40 miles away (as the crow flies). Admission to the center is $5/each. Not sure how this fee works with the WA State Park fee for Seaquest State Park.

Some of the Mount Rainier themed merchandise was cuter than the merchandise sold in the shops in the park. They had the cutest little 'Lovers Press' mini red French presses with heart cutouts. All kinds of unique gifts, and a small selection of probiotic sodas. The shop smelled very masculine, as if they were burning a man candle, and the music was very alphabet gang. She did not have to do that and went out of her way on a very busy Mother's Day week/holiday to accommodate me and my mistake. Lesson learned and will gladly return.
