I brought in my cowgirl boots to have a stain removed. Instead, the stain stayed, and a large portion of the printed design on the leather was scrubbed off. The boots are discontinued, so the damage is permanent. What frustrated me most wasn't just the damage, but how everything was handled. I sent a detailed message with before and after photos, and it was completely ignored. After 6 days, I had to follow up before Kayleen finally got back to me. She even acknowledged that my first message hadn't been responded to. During our call, I was told they used the gentlest cleaning solution possible and believed the damage was a manufacturer defect. I understand accidents can happen, but if the design was coming off during the cleaning, I believe the process should have been stopped and I should have been contacted before they continued. I never had the chance to make that decision. After reiterating their policy, they refunded the $30.90 cleaning fee, which I appreciate, but there was no accountability for the permanent damage to my boots. After I shared my feedback, I was told, "Thanks for the lesson," and then referred to another cobbler. I hope this experience helps improve their communication with future customers because I can't recommend this business based on how my situation was handled. read more

I needed my shoe repaired and they did a great job. Plus told me that they can also replace the elastic on my shoes to make them tighter. Then I gave them a pair of shoes that needed two extra holes put in strap to make them give me a tighter fit and then I also took in a that needed a new handle I'm to pick them up next week. They put on buckles on three pairs of the same shoes, $25 each pair. I brought in my last pair, and she said that she wants $5 more wiggle room. She said that she took her time looking for two buckles that would match my shoes. Isn't that her job? I do not like being ripped off. Great business with great service! I took my husbands thick leather weight belt in to get some holes added. I wasn't sure if they'd be able to help me since this belt is seriously thick! I've been turned away for other shops down the hill. But these guys were glad to help and had the new holes added in no time. AND they have the best greeter....a dog named "so and so" haha. Okay this store is Great!! This man can do all kinds of repairs and much much more. The boots that I wear, well you just can't get in Wal-Mart or stores like it, not even in most western wear stores. My boots are expensive so I would not take them just anywhere to have anything they may need done. Including re heeling and leather care. There is no other place like this in a hundred miles or more. Awesome small business with kind and knowledgeable staff. I called first, they were able to recommend a few products over the phone and I went in the next day to pick them up. I was given a short thorough explanation how to use the saddle soap and brush on my leather shoes. Items were very reasonably priced. I also saw a few things I'll be back for, a suede eraser and Birkenstock Sandals. The products I bought worked beautifully on my boots and I also used them on 2 leather purses. These people are rude crooks , went to their shop to inquire about staining my boots from brown to black, they quoted thirty five dollars, I told them I will be back in a couple days. When I returned the rude old lady wrote up the ticket and said it will be sixty five dollars! Worst repair ever on a pair of $575.00, lineman boots. First off he glued wrong soles on, not ones I wanted. Double shanked under sole not in the leather. Glued soles came off first day. Returned same day asked for soles I wanted sewn on and left boots. 2 months later got boots back with right soles, wrong heels.$110.00 shoddiest job ever. 4 months later shanks came out , heels had large nails scratching tile, so took them to a different boot repair to have re-done. read more

My puppy ate the leather straps off of my favorite bag and chewed a whole in the side of the canvas so my husband took my bag to Del's. Just got a couple pairs of shoes resoled by Dave. In 30 years of climbing, these might be the best resoles I have seen. One pair required new rands and you can barely tell. Dave wrote as soon as he received the shoes and I got a notice when they were shipped. Turn-around was faster than I expected.
