I asked for him to call the Manager. He gave me the Dist Manager number. I called the Dist. Manager and he (hunter) never return my call or answered my text. He called Payden but not me. Payden told me " to get the fuck out of the store" He came out from around the counter towards me and I said, try to put your hands on me to put me out. I called the cops. While waiting for the cop to come, Payden decided it would be best to call the manager of the store. Long story short, the refund was made. Payden was very unprofessional and not a good person to be working in a public place. All this could have been avoided if Payden had call the manager for help. Second, if the receipt from a self check out can not be used to return items, then the self check out should not be used by the store. So after carefully checking the lot for signs prohibiting overnight parking, we found a spot and went inside. We shopped for a few snacks and found everything to be in good condition. No problem with the "lunch meats" area and the candy. Everything well stocked. After paying for our stuff at the self-checkout (no staffed check out lanes this evening), we returned to the campervan. I moved into a corner of the lot where it would be a bit quieter. After locking up and settling in, we had a peaceful night and were not disturbed. There's butter, cheese (no fancy cheese to go with wine, though), milk, yogurt, some meat (pork chops, chicken breasts, NY strip steak, bacon, bologna). There's a variety of ice cream. For pantry items: an assortment of chips and snacks, oatmeal, canned beans and other canned items. I was not impressed with the bread selection (lots of white and some honey wheat). There's bagels, but its $7.50 for a bag. There's stuff for baking- sugar, flour, etc. There's wine and beer, like others have mentioned. I was hoping for some fresh local goods, like pies or breads, but there's none of that to be found here.
