The driveway to the club splits holes #17 and #18 and is lined with tall, silver-maple trees offering a "Magnolia Lane" type feel to it. Twin Ponds itself is very scenic and well kept, and notably contains two bodies of water from which the name is derived. The wooded surroundings are consistent and broken up only by occasional homes on the perimeter of course. The fairways are relatively straight and moderate in distance for par. Greens play true, albeit sometimes fast in the heat of the summer. Overall, a great course for novice and skilled players alike. My experiences have always been positive when having a golf outing or special event - for which they also exceed expectations. The gardens are beautiful and provide an ample location for photo taking. The large ballroom contains a circular bar and panoramic windows offering great views. It's a great atmosphere inside the facility as the open layout makes it easy for guests to mingle. The food never disappoints, although I can't say I've had a great deal of variety from recent memory. Overall, a great place to spend a day golfing or to forge a lasting memory with family and friends. I consider this club a 'hidden gem' within the greater city of Utica and would highly recommend it.

Most of the fairways are wide open. Had to upgrade my rating to 3 stars because i had such a great tome. Course is visible from Ny Thruway (rt90) going West and is only 10 minutes from the exit. Nothing spectacular but enjoyable!!!

So we went. Only thing good was the simulator we booked the VIP. The food was absolutely awful. When in New Hartford I like the local solid spots. Service was extremely slow. I won't blame the servers fault it was just her. I can honestly say I will not go back. I'm actually mad I came to New Hartford and couldn't even get chicken tenders or boneless wings cooked correct. The fact that he talks with me rather than at me is also a sign of an excellent teacher. Secondly, he is an exceptional businessman. I have purchased, traded with, and been nothing but satisfied with the work his does and the merchandise he sells.
