One of the main reasons we decided on Dr. Chung for our second baby was because Priscilla is her patient coordinator. She was my previous coordinator and my husband and I trust and appreciate her attentiveness and care. When we learned that she was working with Dr. Chung it was a no brainer for us. Dr. Chung is an amazing physician with lots of great research knowledge. Working with her truly felt like we're all in the same team. We appreciated her collaboration and sincerity throughout the entire process from pre transfer testing to prenatal care. We always felt like our voices were heard and that Dr. Chung was open minded to our thoughts and ideas regarding protocols. She is very hands on and communicative which is a breath of fresh air. I so appreciate all the time and dedication she puts into the patients she works with. We are so excited to have a baby girl on the way. She kept taking in more and more patients, even when it was clear she couldn't handle them. My appointments were frequently canceled. I told her I wanted to get my tubes tied right after giving birth to avoid another surgery later, and she refused. When I asked why, she rudely replied that 'that's how I works.' I wanted to switch doctor, but by then my pregnancy was too far along, so I decided to stay with her. At my routine checkups, she would sometimes just touch my belly without even measuring or checking properly. When I asked questions, she would get irritated. She's a terrible doctor -- very unprofessional. If you can, stay away from here . This was my personal experience.

I have always been scared of going to the OB because I have had bad experiences. In my very first appointment, Dr. Ashrafian was so validating, caring, confident, and informative. She was quick to order any tests I needed and was with me every step of the way. She is an angel. She also did my laparoscopic surgery and did a fantastic job. She has been my biggest advocate and support and has helped me take steps towards healing. I'm so glad I had the surgery and was validated that it wasn't "just stress" like other doctors told me. Again, I will never go to anyone else but Dr. Sogol. I'm so thankful for her. The front office gals are so nice, funny and caring too. All of my experiences in this office have been great. She is compassionate, efficient, knowledgeable, and joy to visit, which I say a lot when you consider that no one likes going to the OB/GYN. I like how good she is with explanations and I never feel rushed. She can also do other procedures, such as laser rejuvenation. I love how good attack the office is as well - they are on top of things, they have a portal, they do telehealth and there's no issues that I've had with that either. They are located conveniently to the other medical buildings in Newport. If I have to go to the OB/GYN, might as well get some beach time or yummy food lol.

A lot of reviews for gynecological care tend to be from…read morefolks who are pregnant/are planning to be pregnant/delivered a baby, so I figured I'd throw my review in here since I do not intend to have children so my care experience is oriented around wellness visits / preventative care -- so if that's the boat you're in, read on! :) I know many forego gynecological care because it can feel invasive and nerve wracking. I certainly am someone who fits into that boat, as I have so much anxiety around doctors offices and anything medical. Also as a queer individual, there's an extra layer to reproductive care that (in my experience) is often overlooked. Dr. Ogez is so thoughtful, patient, and informative in her practice -- I've never felt safer during a wellness exam. Her bedside manner is exceptional; I felt heard in what I was saying during my visit, and also felt empowered about making choices about my body because Dr. Ogez took the time to really talk through things with me (and it is so clear that she stays very well informed on contemporary approaches to gynecological care that help empower patients.) That enough is worth 5 stars for me, but I should tack on that the office was so well organized that I think I was in the waiting room for about 3 minutes in totality? And then maybe waited alone in the exam room for about 2 minutes. The visit itself did not feel rushed at all, and yet I was stoked on how quickly I managed to get in and out of the office. However, this time i am so grateful for my insurance because I was able to choose whoever I wanted to go to within my network and I found her. There was no hesitation whatsoever. She is young, patient and wise when it comes to bedside manners and her making choices with you about what is best for you and your baby. The office staff is professional and friendly. The office itself is very clean. Whenever I got to my appointments the nurses were all so sweet. I never had to wait a long time at my appointments, except for one time when Dr. Ogez was not there and someone else had to see me so they had to read my chart to get familiar with my pregnancy status, which was understandable. I can't wait to share with you all my experience once I deliver. I will be back to update this review but for now, I'm blessed with Dr. Ogez as my OBGYN.
