I was given a 4 hour time frame for my appointment & they did not make that. I cancelled a doctor's appointment to be here. Well not many tv repair shops around so choices are limited. Took 3 tvs to get get fixed 2 were able to be repaired. Once to fix some diodes was expensive and over priced. Other was a fair price. Asked for total was 484 I get there and now is 530 something. Didn't apply my whole diagnostic fee like they said they were. Pretty crappy for 25 bucks now you get a bad review because you lied. read more

RELIABLE AND FAST. 70in Smart TV was a few weeks beyond the warranty and the screen went black. Maybe we depend way too much on the entertainment and downtown time provided by our TV. We needed it fixed ASAP. I called and asked about services. The person who answered my call was very helpful and had me scheduled for the next day. Note: Pay the extra for in-home diagnosis service, was well worth it. We did not have to move the TV and the TV technician easily handled the TV alone. Since we decided to move forward with the repair, the in home service fee was waived. The TV tech was pleasant and followed COVID safety protocols in my house. I would recommend this service to anyone looking, zero sheisty-ness and we are happy with our repair months later. read more

I used YELP and found this TV repair company. I took my 55 inch Curve TV to get repaired. Oleg first told me what was needed to fix the problem, said he needed too ordered the part, it would take about a week to come in, then ironically, the next day he called and said my TV was fixed. I took my TV home, plugged it in and it still didn't work, so I took it back and the second time it was fixed correctly. I believe a short cut was attempted the first time. Wow! What a great company! I used them a couple years ago to fix my Samsung and was very pleased with the service and the price. I called them today because the speakers/sound on my "off brand" KC TV had stopped working. He told me what he thought it might be, and had me reboot the entire system (Century Link Prism), and wallah, that's all it took! Our 1.3 year old Samsung 55" flat screen tv stopped working. It started power cycling whenever turned on. Bad news during the stay-home order due to the Corona virus was in place. I called Valleywise and Oleg came out to the house to provide an initial check - on a Saturday! Unfortunately, Oleg needed to take it back to the shop for further troubleshooting. He called us back the following Monday with the bad news - the main system board was bad. After giving us an estimate for the repair we talked about fixing or replacing the set. We opted to replace it with one that he had refurbished. In looking back, we're very pleasantly satisfied the entire experience due to a large part to Oleg's customer skills and work effort. Valleywide TV Repair is awesome, and I rarely use that word. I called them a few months ago to fix my mother's TV, is was not repairable. He sold her a refurbished 60" Samsung to replace the other set. Mind you, my mother has a had a stroke, and she has macular degeneration so the large television has become very important to her. When the Samsung stopped showing a picture five months later, I called VTR and he came out the next day and fixed my moms television free of charge! This was so kind and unexpected. This place is great! My 6-7 year old Samsung DLP LED TV had a fan go out Saturday morning. I called a few places but their policy sounded the best. They would check out the TV for $45 if i like the quote they would put the $45 to the final cost if i didn't like the quote or chose not to get the tv repaired they kept the money. Sounded fair to me. I explained the issue, make, model, of the TV and they quoted me a price over the phone. I dropped the TV off a little after 10am. They had the TV repaired and ready to pick up by 1230pm that day. The price they quoted me on the phone was what I paid. I payed $200.00 for them to replace the power board in my Samsung tv. I looked up the part # from the receipt. They charged me $96.15 for a board that I could have gotten on the internet for $29.99. $140.00 for labor. It could not have taken more than 1 hour to repair, probably much less. There was also a $45.00 diagnostics fee. I am a businessman myself. I charge $45.00 an hour labor and don't mark-up materials at all. I paid $245.00 for them to replace a $30.00 part that in all honesty could not have even taken half an hour to replace. FEELING VERY RIPPED OFF! read more

When my Sharp 65" failed, I used Yelp to find Oleg at Valleywide and he came to the house withing 2 hrs. Unfortunately for me, the part I need is very hard to find and I decided to jsut pick up my giant paperweight from him and start looking for a new t.v. Oleg had a 70 inch Vizio in his shop for sale and it looked great and he offered a 90 day warranty, so I took it off his hands........ Got it home, hooked it up, and within 2 hours there was a dark shadow across the screen. Obviously upset about his, I called Oleg and he had me bring it back to him. Long story short, I was frustrated, and I am sure he was as well, but he offered to refund my money and take it back. Oleg is a stand-up technician who stands behind his service and his products. I would not typically think of repairing a TV but had a nice Sony 75" that would have been costly to replace. I took it to Valleywide Repair after we had a technician from our Control 4 company look at it and say that probably the mother board needed replacement and the cost would probably be around $600. Valleywide was able to do a software update that fixed the problem for $145 and had the repair done in one day. I strongly recommend them for their integrity and quality of service. read more

I have a Samsung 50 inch plasma TV. It was on a capacitor settlement but that expired in 2012 so I had blown capacitors and brought the board into have the capacitors is fixed. They charged only 40 bucks and my TV is working again! I called a couple of other repair services and the bill was going to be over three hundred bucks! I took in my 32" Samsung TV with no picture. They found what was wrong and said it couldn't be repaired but, for what it was originally going to cost me to repair my 32" TV they would sell me another one for that price. Who else does such great deals like that for customers now days. But, it doesn't stop there. I went in to collect my replacement TV and saw a larger one and they were even able to give me a great alternative deal for the larger TV. My Optoma projector was repaired by a company in new jersey compliments of square trade. When it was returned, it had white spots on the image, as if light was filtering in from an opening in the curtain and shining on the screen. Oleg worked on it for many hours, disassembling it a few times, trying to determine where they were coming from. His policy is $45 diagnosis fee, and he told me if he could not fix it, he would not charge me. True to his word, I paid the $45, but not a penny more.
